The section of office supplies is great for a pharmacy! When they didn't have what I needed, it was ordered and I will be able to support local businesses!

Great pharmacy. Great customer service, a huge selection of fun books & toys. Beverages. Even yarn. Those of you who know me know thats like winning the lotto.

Transfer your prescriptions from Safeway or QFC. Support local business, especially after a pandemic.They need your help.

This is your local family drug store. They treat you like you're important to them, and they go out of their way to help. I've been filling prescriptions there for 18 years and they always get it right. Don and the rest of the pharmacy staff will always take the time to help you find what you need. They are kind and professional. The store also carries a little bit of everything, reminding me of the good old dime stores of the past. Housewares, hardware, electronics, clothing, office supplies, arts & crafts supplies, snacks, greeting cards and party supplies...they have it all! And if you need a Port Townsend souvenir, they've got you covered. Don's Pharmacy will always be my favorite drug store!!!

Took a spontaneous first time trip to Port Townsend recently. Enjoyed the soda Fountain atmosphere at Don's. Grew up with that in Hawaii when Woolworths were still around. My daughter and I were talking a week earlier wondering if these were still around. At least there's one in Port Townsend! Already told friends visiting there that Don's should be on their "must visit" list!

Don's is still a great local business after all these years. It is family owned (occasionally I spot Donna the family matriarch walking) by, and a cozy place to spend some time. The pharmacy is wonderful to use, no lines, no waiting as the supply 'has to be ordered from the vendor' like I commonly encounter at the grocery store pharmacy.
I purchased, my iron, Mr Coffee, vacuum and many other things from this delightful store over the years. The soda fountain is a treat. The greeting card selection is unbeatable.

I love Dons and all the people who work there. We have lived in town now for seven years and from the first time we interacted their friendly staff to Don himself they have made us feel welcome. I love the fact that we shop at a store where the people who work there know my name. I also agree with the first reviewer this store has everything. There is no need to shop for your sundry items anywhere else in town.

This little pharmacy stocks a wider selection of the medication you may need and treats customers with respect. It is a fun place to just browse through and grab a bite if you need to wait or just want to have fun. Right down by the Ferry Boat access. I don't live here, I am just visiting for an extended length of time and Don's works well with my doctor's and necessary scripts. I do like older, smaller pharmacy's, they tend to make your trip to a pharmacy fun and interesting!

Don's Fountain has great food and plenty of it. I like the fish and chips and found that they make the cocktail sauce per order and it is some of the best I have ever had. The picture is of a small butterscotch sundae and it was hard for the two of us to finsh it.

Go back into the restaurant and enjoy some great food. You can always buy a banana split and pretend that it healthy for you. Either way the banana splits are the best thing ever. It like an old time soda shop back there. The employees are always the best. If you haven’t been yet, go try it. It one place you can seriously feed a family of 4 on a banana split. They are kind and wonderful souls that work here.

Don is amazing with a heart of gold .. genuinely cares for all his clients even after selling the store. Just not the same with out seeing you I'm grateful to have had someone we go cares for my son n my health. I will miss you.. always your dearest most grateful friend. Jenny n jj

Friendly, back slappin' service whether you are a regular or not. The milkshakes are real. The hot dog gave me a fix I had been missing for awhile. The shrimp salad? At least a half pound of bay shrimp on crisp greens with delicious, sharp dressing. Port Townsend has some great restaurants and this is one of them.

Every year we go up to visit my mother-in-law and we make our way to Don's Pharmacy for a hamburger and rootbeer float. It truly is a delightful place to go to, a real honest to goodness old fashioned drug store. They have everything I need. I highly recommend to go there.

For 40 years I have been a patron of Don's Pharmacy. From their expert Pharmacuticle advice, to their one of a kind soda fountain, every inch of the store is customer centric and makes you feel as though they care. Never a dull moment and always a friendly atmosphere!

Talk about hometown pharmacy! Personal service, old fashioned soda fountain, great selection of dry goods, prescriptions filled quickly & a fun place to have a hot fudge sundae!
(On a side note, one of the pharmacists here went above & beyond for me when our dog needed seizure medication asap. Not only did she work late but also put the medication in syringes for me and gave me great instructions. I'll forever be greatful)

Best Burgers in Port Townsend (if you can get to them before they close the soda fountain). Just remember, if you're from New York City, and you ask for an "Egg Cream," ask them like this: "Excuse me, there's this drink I'd like to have, but it's not on your menu. It's called an "Egg Cream"; there's no egg in it, just soda water, chocolate sauce, and milk. Could you please make it?" The kind ladies who run the fountain, always give people from NYC strange looks when they're asked for one and think "I won't put no egg in cream." The place is what every town in America should have- a place where you can get your medicine and a meal, and feel at ease.

I had to move to Sequim and one of the down sides of that is that I won't be able to keep my prescriptions' with Don. For 15 years I've had nothing but great service, personable staff and a first rate pharmacist. If you are in Port Townsend you can't do better than these folks for your pharmacy needs. Also, that great lunch counter from an era now gone.

Left my medicine at home for a week long vacation and was able to have my doctor call it in to this pharmacy. They filled it in under half an hour of receiving it. Very convenient, and we were able to buy a couple things we needed from the store while we waited. Pharmacy employees were nice and very helpful. Great place and great service. I'm glad I went here :)

Love the old fashioned Soda fountain!! Makes you feel like you are traveling back in time to a now gone Era! Very friendly staff and thier famous huge Banana Splits!!

Don's is the best! Like a mini hometown Rite Aid. The pharmacy pretty much never had a line, there is a restaurant, and tons of things from household to health available. Great prices and excellent selection in the healthcare section.
