RT is a seriously cool guy, and he knows what he's doing!! He'll work with you to fit you in sometimes because he's understanding like that. Love ALL the employees. I trust this place 100%. Their prices and mechanics are top notch. I wouldn't go anywhere else!! They've worked on our old Volvo (250,000 miles) a few times before, and that baby drives like new. 👍🏻

Rob is the most honest mechanic I've known, which is amazing considering "honest" and "mechanic" are rarely heard in the same sentence!!
I've been taking my cars to Rob since 2005 based on the recommendation of my Dad who's been with him since 2002! There may have a bit of a wait for an appointment since he's so popular, but it's well worth the wait knowing your car is in the hands of a dependable, qualified, candid mechanic :)

Rob is great. Went to him when we first moved to Swannanoa 15 years ago, and he has taken great care of our family vehicles. Honest, fair, trustworthy, and pretty quick too! Nice to see this business succeeding and growing!

I would trust these gentleman with my newborn baby, if I had one. They might not know what to do with a baby but they would sure be honest about it. They do, however, know what to do with a car, and my car is my baby, so RT is the only place I will be going to from now on.

He took the time to determine what was wrong with my truck. Had it ready when he said it would be. And, price was better than most places. I find him to be very fair and honest. My truck runs better than it has in years. Quite pleased!

I can't really say enough about this place. It was recommended to me by a friend when my exhaust manifold cracked - again. I had suspected the original place didn't really replace it, which turned out to not be the case, or they would have heard from me. Doing business with them was straightforward and a VERY good experience. The labor was fair, and the workmanship was awesome - and hell yes I looked. I checked EVERYTHING they did, and it was just top notch all the way through. Car is running great, and once again, the workmanship was AWESOME, and fast. These guys know what they're doing, you can tell they are passionate about their work, and absolutely no up-selling and pressure tactics. And their prices are FAIR. I'm not looking for any other mechanic - I've found mine. Give them a try and see for yourself!

RT Auto is the REAL DEAL! If you want a courteous, honest, professional doing your auto repairs at a fair price, look no further. Unlike other (big chain) auto repair shops, RT will not gouge you, but give you the bottom line on what repairs are needed at very reasonable rates for parts and labor. Make no mistake ... the word is out on RT, so it may take you a few days to be seen, but you will not regret the wait. I was very happy with the work they did to replace my radiator, and I will not take my car anywhere else again. I say "again" because recently I was in a hurry to get my NC inspection done so I could renew my registration before leaving town for a month, so I took it to a chain auto shop thinking I would be in and out. Not so ... they failed me and told me I needed $1000+ of work done before I could pass the inspection (not to mention the fact that they told me my car was "gushing" oil - even though I had noticed nothing in the driveway- and tried to use scare tactics on me, making me feel that I was taking my chances in a deathtrap unless the repairs were made immediately). Of course, I did not fall for it, and I immediately took my car to RT, where I was actually brought under the car to inspect it myself. No "gushing" oil, and the car passed inspection with minimal "suggested" repairs for a later date. So, I am out the $23.75 I paid for my inspection at the other place, but it was a rather inexpensive lesson to not bring my car anywhere else again. Thank you, RT Auto!!

I've just moved to the area and unfortunately already needed some minor work done on my car. RT Auto was a much needed gift in a tough transition time, as they were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and honest. It can be a difficult process to find a garage you trust when moving to a new area, so I'm grateful to have already found mine. I'll gladly go back anytime I need work done!

I've gone to RT Auto a few different times with a few different problems with a few different cars and Rob and the guys always do great work at a great price and never try to install or sell anything I don't need.

RT is the best shop I've ever taken a vehicle to! Rob is honest and won't spend your money on unnecessary repairs.
I've been using this shop for the past 5 years and every experience has been 100% perfect!

A coworker suggested that I give RT Auto a try when I had some brake problems with my truck and another local shop gave me a sky high price.
Rob & co. did a fine repair at a reasonable price. So when my older Nissan Maxima had a problem with a radiator gone bad I brought it to RT.
They did a great job at a fair price.
If you're in the valley I recommend you give the folks at RT Auto a try.

Called several auto shops because my car was making a horrid noise when braking. I was fit in the next day. I was there not even 20 minutes and the guy who worked on my car came back with a rock and told me it was stuck in my car. No charge, very polite and fast service. No BS either. Will use this place again the next time my car is in trouble. Thanks!
