Staying in the town of Swannanoa, we needed some extra emergency clothes. Clean and easy to find. No issues

My name is John Lewis. I’ve lived in Black Mountain all of my life and have been coming to CVS in Swannanoa for many years. I wanted to give kudos to Allan for helping me this week. He helped me find things I needed for my parents and was so nice and pleasant. He was super busy, but offered his help. I really appreciated that.

Allan is a newer employee at this store. I been coming to this store for 8 years. He is extremely helpful, and nice when I shop here. He is an extremely valuable asset to CVS and CVS is very lucky to have him.

Shout out to Kerry! I came to get the Johnson and Johnson vaccine yesterday. Came at 6:20, unaware that they stopped administering the vaccine at 6:30. I was asked to come back the following day. Well I'm here and was told that corporate took the Johnson and Johnson vaccines to another location, HOWEVER, after I had become upset and sat down to have to get the 2-dose Pfizer vaccine, Kerry informed the lady that she had held some of the Johnson and Johnson since we had talked the previous day.

LITTLE THINGS ARE THE BIGGEST THINGS TO HELP A COMPANY. THANK YOU KERRY!!!!

This CVS has always been on point for me. They have pretty much anything you need, as well as friendly staff!

First, they have incorrect hours listed on google. No biggie, I sent in the suggestion to change hours on Saturday and Sunday to opening at 9am instead of 8am, and sent a photo of the posted hours to approve the change. Then decided to sit and wait for the store to open, since it was 8:51am. It is now 9:10am, and no one has come to open the door (see photo of the newspaper stack waiting to be brought in). Please advise your staff to open on time.

Oh CVS….I usually review food places and shops I love, but when seeing a review of CVS (in another city) I realized I have strong opinions of this company. As a former employee and (as of 2022) mandated customer I feel like I’ve seen all I need to see.
For this particular Swannanoa CVS location though here are my thoughts - I was FORCED by my insurance company to move my RX from the Swannanoa Ingles to them. They never were open when I’d go to pick my meds up, hold times on the phone were atrocious, and I was berated by a pharmacist because I didn’t inform them I was anemic before a shot and bled some.
I moved to Candler and am curious to see how the Smokey Park one holds up. I’ll be reviewing that one in a few weeks when I get my refill.
I’ve been to multiple CVS stores in other states even and have yet to have a good experience. Sigh

Because my insurance became aetna CVS I switched from Walgreens to CVS to get my prescriptions. That was a big mistake. Getting in touch with the pharmacy is ridiculous. The app is horrible it crashes all the time.
And even after canceling one prescription numerous I still get texts that it's waiting approval. Great concept if it worked. Without going into the list of things that happened with my medication pretty much everything that could go wrong did. I switched to the PSA neighborhood pharmacy I suggest you do too they're wonderful people.

The robo answering marching is beyond ridiculous! Communication is nearly impossible- COVID is constantly in the answer. Give me a simple choice: renew prescription, speak with pharmacy, status of prescription. Then go into your COVID rant so I can hang up!
