Not my closest hardware store but my favorite! Everyone is always friendly and I am offered more help than I need. Never had a long wait. Always fast and efficient. Even quick for getting paint mixed. Love it.

Nice looking place. I ran in real quick for a rubber mallet. They had a good selection. I got one for about 10 bucks. They had a lot of other stuff but I didn't have time to browse. The workers were helpful and friendly. They have a huge parking lot out front.

The folks who work here are so friendly and helpful. Within a minute of walking in there’s always someone greeting me and helping me find what I’m looking for. I rarely enjoy shopping and this is one of the few places I really like to go to. The size of the store is not overwhelming and yet they carry a good amount of items. Thank you Swannanoa Ace!

Really great customer service experience during the holidays.

This place is on point. As soon as you enter the store someone will greet you and ask if you need help finding something. If they don't, it's because they're assisting another customer, but once they're free, they'll find you to see if you need help. They're always well staffed with several knowledgeable employees. I was inspired to write this review after I came in with an extensive list of pipe/PVC fittings and an assortment of other stuff for a DIY project. I specifically went to Ace because I knew that had I gone to one of the big box stores I'd of been standing there for hours trying to track things down. As soon as I walked in, I had a helping hand. Brandon helped me with grace and a genuine smile on his face. He went above and beyond in my opinion. This is the reason I'll always come here first- customer service is always top notch. I've consistently had positive experiences here for well over a year now. It'll always be my first stop. Oh, and propane fills are a bargain here!

I had a disagreement about pricing to make a long story short. So I didn’t buy the item I wanted. I got an email for a recent experience survey which I took thinking it really didn’t matter but…. Mr Madden himself contacted me personally and made it right. I am HIGHLY IMPRESSED by the professionalism of this Ace an mr Madden. Thank you again sir I will be a returning customer!!

My go-to hardware store, it is always clean and well-stocked. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. I never end up wandering around trying to find what I'm looking for. Recently I went in with questions about a product that they didn't carry. Rather than brushing me off, Brandon went above and beyond and spent probably 15 minutes working with me until I had all the information I needed. I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service, all offered with a smile.

Always a great place to shop. Staff is more than helpful. They are kind and speak to everyone. I'd go to this store to pay extra instead of going to Walmart. It's peaceful and the staff is always available and helpful. Prices aren't too much higher that the bigger chain stores.

Our dogs love going to Ace, because they know they will get a treat at the register! When we shop here, they send us coupons, and that keeps us coming back. Great store helpful staff, well stocked. It's great not having to go to Black Mountain or Asheville for hardware!

I will always go to this store. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The manager Brandon has helped me out personally a few times along with his staff solving my plumbing needs, all the way to paint advice. Which my newly painted patio looks great! Thanks for the advice paint guy! Overall I trust the advice I get from the staff and you should too!

The staff at ACE are always super helpful, genuine, and friendly! They seem to go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. It's nice to get excellent customer service, paired with prices that are competitive with the big box stores. They almost always have what we are looking for, so we usually end up here a few times a week when we need something for a home or business project. Today I needed to exchange a gift without a receipt and they swiftly made it happen - no hassle.

The employees at this store are always accessible and helpful. If you look like you're trying to find something, they will ask if they can help you.

One service they have is working on chainsaws. We have used them several times.

They carry a variety of items including seasonal items. Today I needed tennis balls for a walker. They had them in stock in December!

I love the Madden’s Ace Hardware stores in N.C. and Fl. Every time I go to one for help with a project I always get the help, confidence, and the right product to get the job done. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Richard is always there hard at work helping customers and making sure his stores are running like a Swiss timepiece. I would recommend the Madden’s Aces to anyone that needs anything for home improvement, gardening, automotive, or just want to add another tool to their collection.
