PSA Pharmacy has cornered the market in professionalism. Also, making customers feel like we are all part of the same family. Swannanoa is thankful to have PSA in our community! Dave and all the staff keep up the great work.

Been going here for 20 years, and I would never go anywhere else! The most friendly staff that always remember your name, excellent prices (better than anywhere else), and such a small town, nostalgic feel. My worries always melt away when I walk in this place. There's nothing better than a friendly smile when you're having a bad day. Love these guys!!

😊 Honestly, I could write an essay about PSA Pharmacy in Swannanoa, North Carolina but will attempt to summarize my review :-)

I have been a customer for many years and have nothing short of positive experiences here!

The basics:
RX prices are the absolute lowest. If they aren’t, most likely Dave will match another pharmacy cost or better! Prescriptions not covered by my insurance company are at least 60 percent less expensive here. They have been known to show compassion and kindness in pricing also when you are a dedicated customer on a limited income.
The staff is amazing! All are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Service is beyond what you’d expect!
Low costs on other items in store.
RX delivery.
Same to next day availability of medication out of stock. Dave has been know to go to another Good Neighbor pharmacy to make sure you have your medication the same day! Talk about amazing service!
Quick drop off and pickup. Prescriptions are filled in minutes usually!
Highly accurate!
Nadia and other pharmacist will speak with you about your medication(s) and any interactions. The information is thorough. No need to read the literature that accompanied your RX- they tell you everything you need to know, without you having to ask! Also if a medication doesn’t seem to go well or has questionable interactions they won’t just fill it like others. They will contact the prescribing MD to discuss it first thing make sure you are safe. They TRULY care about you.
You’re not treated as a customer, more like family.

This is by far the best pharmacy I’ve ever had and I’ve used many! Give them a try and see why they are the absolute best in all they do!!

My only slight complaint is their business hours on Saturdays but I would not trade PSA for anyone else unless I had to relocate far away of course.

The staff and pharmacists are always very friendly and they fill my prescriptions quickly. Love this place!

This is an addition on 1/15/24. The pharmacist and the staff have always gone out of their way to be helpful to me and have always made me feel at home when I go in to get my meds every month. They really do feel like family and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to help me out. Thank you guys for all that you do!!

Great pharmacy. Extremely friendly staff that work like family. They are genuinely caring and will remind me if I forgot to pick up a prescription or if my doctor forgot to call one in before I come to pick up. Their pick up time for a just called in prescription is EXTREMELY quick…maybe 10 mins at most. The fastest, friendliest, pharmacy I’ve been to and I’m glad my doctor next door suggested them! Thank you PSA!!!

Staff is so kind, friendly, and understanding. They are very knowledgeable and often go out of their way to help.

What a pleasure and neighborhood feel! Not to be quoting a TV show, but they really do get to know your name! I was so done with the big chains. Big chain service has gotten worse and worse over the years and most of them are two overpopulated and screw up everything. I literally just moved here and they welcomed me with open arms and I've never had a problem with on time or efficiency. Trust me I snowbird to Florida and the pain in the butt it is to get prescriptions transferred for a few months is ridiculous. They handled everything for me which literally was not an easy task dealing with Walgreens down here. They might not have text reminders, (but mine from the big chains are usually incorrect away.) ❤. And thank you for putting up with my chaos!

I so enjoy this small town pharmacy. When they call you by your first name, you know you are cared for. Thanks to Dave and all his employees for their great care and concern.

Updating review to be more current:
I absolutely LOVE this pharmacy! I've been using them for several years.
1.) Unlike any other pharmacy, you can actually walk in with a paper prescription and they will hand you back the medication filled and ready to go FAST, sometimes before you have even had a chance to sit down (probably why they dont have a huge waiting area... no need for one).
2.) Their prices can NEVER be beat! Before I started using them regularly, I didn't have insurance and called around to price my medicine when I got tired of my current pharmacy taking an hour to fill my script. Every competing pharmacy wanted 2-3X more than PSA! That was the first reason I switched all my families prescriptions to them..
I used to live close to PSA when i first became a (very happy) customer but even now that I've moved across town, I still drive there every time for my family's meds!

Some other points to consider: they have a delivery person (for FREE), the owner is normally in there working alongside his employees, and all the other pharmacists and staff are friendly and knowledgeable every time. Even with the best prices in town they manage to stay the fastest, most friendly, and most personable pharmacy around.
They know most people by name and belong to the "Good Neighbor Pharmacy" network.
Although I don't fully understand that specific network structure or the details that surround having that distinction, they are most certainly a great neighbor to everyone in this community!

I recommend them to every person I know and would never be able to use another pharmacy after being a customer at PSA for so many years... Nothing about them can be beat!

I have been a customer of PSA for seven years, and in my experience, they have the kindest staff and always go above and beyond my expectations. The pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to discuss medications. Thanks PSA!!!

You will not find better service in a Pharmacy than PSA. From their friendly and proficient staff, their affordable rates (especially for the uninsured paying cash), and the speed in which the fill prescriptions. Often, I walk in and I am out of there in 5 minutes enjoying friendly banter and pleasantries with the PSA team as they efficiently fill your order. I should also note that they have gone out of their way to help make sure I am well looked after; my job requires me to travel a lot and one trip required me to stay across country two weeks longer than expected; with a just one quick phone call PSA arranged to have my prescriptions filled and I was able to have everything I needed within 24 hours.

Brass Tax: They care, they are great at what they do, and they don't need a big chain name to do it. Check out at least one working part of our country's health care system - my guess is that is due to an owner who cares more about his patients then making a fortune on the sick and needy.

THE BEST

This place answered the phone. They were polite and professional. They had my medicine in stock. They had it filled in 5 mins. This is my main pharmacy now. Give them a chance. It's worth your time. CVS is garbage.

I have used PSA Pharmacy for 15 years and it is honestly one of the best kept secrets around. The pharmacists and staff are kind and responsive and go the extra mile. It is rare to find such caring, personal service anywhere.

I’ve been coming to PSA for as long as I can remember. Dave and his staff have always been very kind, helpful, and willing to answer any questions I have and always go above and beyond. So thankful places like this are still around.

I have used PSA pharmacy over any other for a long time. I have never had an issue with them. Their staff is always very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. When I was looking for a pharmacy, I did not have insurance and was looking for the lowest prices. When I found PSA, I found more than the lowest prices. I found a type of customer service that you don't see very often these days. I have used them while living in Lousiana, and they shipped my prescriptions to me. I drive to PSA now from Candler to get prescriptions filled because I know I am in good hands there.

This is the best pharmacy anywhere! Excellent prices, quick service, great caring staff, friendly environment, nice store. If they do not have it, they order it for you and quickly. Both, my husband and I use this pharmacy. Very happy with the service and prices. Customer service is great. They really care.

I wouldn't go anywhere else and I live thirty miles from PSA Pharmacy. I love the staff. Always one on one with the pharmacist. I can not compliment them enough on how fast they have your prescription filled .

Everyone at this pharmacy is the best. Always so friendly an willing to answer any questions you may have. I recommend P.S.A. It doesn't matter when you walk in there everyone makes you feel like family.Just great people all together.

This pharmacy is a life saver for uninsured people. I called 3 different pharmacies, before psa, to check on prices for ear drops. Each place quoted the amount as $300, but psa had it for $19. I am so grateful for this business, great prices and wonderful staff.
