E-Z Rent-A-Car

Hi. It was close to the airport and the car was so nice.
I returned the car at 7 o'clock today.
I left my sunglasses in the car.
If you find the sunglasses, I'll ask for your reply.
I will go to Seattle on July 2nd.
Then I'll go find it.

Based on the previous reviews, I was extremely skeptical about renting from E-Z Rent-A-Car. My experience there was smooth and seamless. I was able to rent a car the day I arrived without a previous reservation. I had to use my debit card which was not an issue (like most places a deposit was required). Taylor at the front desk, was sweet and had great customer service. Car was clean, up to date and ran well. Not sure why these guys have gotten such a bad rap but my experience there was great.

Happy with the car and overall service I received. Car was clean, new and in great condition with less miles. The drop-off process was much quicker as you just have to return the keys unlike other companies where you wait in a queue for a person to check the car and all the readings. Will definitely come back for future rentals.

This was going to be a 1 star rating but after speaking with management and getting things straightened out it is now a 5 star.

The car rented was great - exceeded what I expected for an economy car.

Problems came when I called to extend the rental and was not informed that the rate would change. Did not know about it until I brought the car back and the rate for the extra days was more than double.

Nothing could be done at the counter but I had to call management about it. While it took a couple of days to speak with them they were willing to give me a credit due to the confusion.

My only suggestion is for a little more training of the desk agents on informing customers when things will be changing. Oh, and tell them not to wear uniform shirts that have holes in the front. Female desk agent who worked on my return date and time did not give the best impression of the company with the uniform shirt she had on.

Overall I am happy with the experience. They took care of my issues and I would recommend them when you need to rent a car.

Shopped for a local car rental when our car went into the shop - often use Enterprise, but over $300 for 4 days was just too much. Found E-Z and their price was $87 for 4 days, no mileage, taxes included, for a red 2019 Hyundai Sonata. a great car as it turned out. We are their customer forever. Very friendly service, easy in and out.

Was hesitant to rent from given their poor online reviews, but am SO glad that I did!! Arrived at Seattle airport and proceeded quickly through EZ Rent A Car counter, then took shuttle to pick up car. First car given was awful (hubcap missing and some funky and smelly stain on passenger seat), but attendant quickly and kindly gave us a different (perfect!!) car. Every step from pickup to drop off went extremely smoothly and exceeded expectations. Not sure why the bad reviews, but I will definitely rent from again! Unbeatable rate and service!! At first I was very skeptical about renting from this company because a day before my vacation, I read the negative comments about this company but by then I was within 24 hours of leaving and vehicle pricing had gone up. The rental was cheap $12 per day, I covered myself by purchasing insurance that covered the vehicle only. Before leaving the rental garage I had them to document everything that looked like a scratch. The clerk at the counter was very friendly and so was the employee who assisted me in the garage. I was not overcharged and was very pleased with the service.

The service was absolutely superb! What made this car rental experience amazing was the special help I got from Dave, one of your customer service people at the Seattle location. First of all, while on the trip, I thought I had lost my car keys (it took several hours to find them). I called Dave and he did everything in his power to help me get the assistance I needed if my keys didn't show up.
Then when I returned the car a few days later, I had to call him again for another issue -- I had left my tablet in the car! (I know, I know...I was SO forgetful on that trip!). He once again came through for me. I forget his last name, but I had this experience the weeks of Jan. 10 - 22. I hope Dave has since been promoted to COO of the company, because he deserves it! :)

Pick up and drop off were quite easy! If you can navigate around the airport, you can figure it out. The car was a lot nicer than expected. Hold was taken off my credit card almost immediately after I dropped off the vehicle!

The service was great, wait time was less 10 minutes to check out the car and less than 2 minutes to return it. I would recommend their services to anyone. Cost was most definitely more attractive than those of other car rental companies.

I was very hesitant to use EZ Car Rental based on the abundant negative reviews, but it seems that they've turned a corner in recognizing this flaw because I couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism, and overall transaction/experience on 08/02/16 at SeaTac. Pick up and drop off were a breeze and the prices couldn't be beat. They didn't have the car that we reserved (economy), but were upgraded to a compact SUV at no additional charge. For us, this was a pleasant surprise. I'm really hoping that the level of service that we received will continue with other customers of EZ Car Rental and would recommend their service based on our experience.

E-Z is by the far the best rental car company I've booked from, and I travel often. The price was good and the staff offered me alternatives for insurance coverage since I accidentally booked part coverage with Expedia. Other companies have made me pay for full coverage and did not take the Expedia coverage. I also loved that I didn't have to fill up before returning- their gas price was cheaper than market rate! The front desk staff and the staff at the garage were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely book with them again!

Wonderful customer service by Sharon. How nice to feel like I was far more than " just another customer" for a change. Her associate seemed to be of the like mind too. There was a nice selection of full sized cars (Camry and Soranto). I was able to score a nearly new one for a great rate. FYI, I rented directly with EZ, not a third party. I'd definitely rent with EZ again.

Upon arrival, the wait was minimal and the agent was friendly and helpful. When we declined the additional insurance (because we have coverage by other means), we were not given the typical high-pressure tactics and were respected for OUR choice. We were also given an upgraded car. Upon drop-off, again we were met with a quick check in and efficient process and accurate details of our rental cost. I wish E-Z had a location in New England, which is where I travel at least three times a year. My husband and I were very pleased with E-Z at SEA and hope that others will be as lucky as we were.

The desk agent was helpful and pleasant. She searched out weather and road conditions to my destination for me. The car was new, clean and well equipped. The return was fast and effortless. I would definitely use EZ Rent-a car again.

After (for some unknown reason, 8 months previous I rented a car using my debit card in San Francisco with no issues whatsoever) I was denied a rental from Hertz and Payless, EZ Rent a Car's agent heard what was going on and stepped in and got me a rental car, saved my vacation!! Highly recommend!!

Overall great experience from start to finish! The lady at the checkout counter was fast, friendly, and efficient. Once we got to the where the cars were stored, the lady was just as nice in getting us situated. Proving was awesome. Great, great experience!

We found the staff at the E-Z Rent-A-Car facility at Seattle-Tacoma airport friendly, helpful and considerate. Kevin, who attended to our requirements, was affable and courteous. The staff at the check-out area were also helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome.

This was my first time renting a car from E-Z Rent-a-car. Spent very little time going to the process of picking up the car. Attendant was courteous and knowledgeable. They offered the best price and excellent vehicle choices.
