Fajita Express Mexican Grill

I've lived in this area for quite some time and never stopped in until today. Wow! I ordered the chorizo and egg plate. The food was good, the prices were better and the service was outstanding! I definitely want to come back in and try lunch and dinner. And to add another feather in their hat, their delicious corn tortillas are homemade (I haven't tried the flour). If I had to describe this place I would say it is a hidden gem among lots of stones.

Don't listen to the recent bad review, this is by far the best Mexican restaurant on the nw side. Food was fresh and delicious as you can tell from the pictures, also very friendly staff. I'm a reviewer and i can say you guys are sleeping on this place, I highly recommend this place to friends and family. Will be coming back!!!

I have always ordered online from here but finally decided to drop in and get the dine in experience. Wonderfully friendly staff, great tasting food and left me feeling satisfied. Will definitely be back to dine in again!

I was pleasantly surprised! Place been up here for at least 10 years and I never stopped. Always has a line though. Got the number 10 which was 2 enchiladas with carne guisada. Guisada was tender and flavorful. Enchiladas were on point. I called these type of enchiladas SAISD cheese enchiladas. Yeah i said it! Lol. Rice and beans good. I will be hitting it up again!

I've lived in San Antonio my whole life, while other places are adding fusion food and raising prices drastically, fajita express has kept their food at a high quality and their prices have barely fluctuated.
The restaurant looks smaller than it actually is and can accommodate quite a few people inside with a wonderful atmosphere inside.
I'm a fan of their fajitas but don't forget about their breakfast tacos. The best time to go is off times so you don't get a like, but you can also call ahead and order your meal.

They have the best Mexican food in all of San antonio. Anytime I am craving some good fajitas, they are my number one go to place. The food is super greesy and authentic. Try it out, you will not be disappointed!

I found this place because I used to do physical therapy nearby. their taco specials (check the marquee) Can’t be beat and they fill it to the brim. Their tortillas are homemade and delicious. I usually get the steak tampiqueño (#8) with the enchilada and it’s perfectly cooked it takes me a few meals to finish and it’s delicious. Don’t forget to get a large Jamaica (Hibiscus tea) their drinks are so affordable.

Okay, this place has awesome food! Pictures bext time! I had Birria Ramen and tacos! Fajita tacos, and also breakfast tacos, which are served all day! It was all delicious!

I keep returning, so this place must be good. The service has been friendly, the prices are reasonable, and food has been good every time.

My new Fav Mexican Restaurant. It's small but quick and easy with plenty of parking! The tacos are filling and made to order. They all taste great, the bacon eggs & cheese, the taco Norteño or the bean & chorizo. If you sit inside they have a chips and salsa bar from more than two to choose from. They are one of the best salsa bars I've ever had! Everythings so fresh! The Enchiladas are simple but delicious. The sauce on them have the right amount of spices and two chunks of beef for additional tasting. The refried beans and the rice were cooked like at home! The next table ordered a family order of Barbacoa and it came with sides which looked so good with plenty for everyone. I recommend the Fresh Lemonade and the quick stop. Drive thru or dine in, either one is worth it!

Came to Fajita Express to try their food. I had the #11 Jalisco Style Plate.
The steak was really good and had a lot of flavor. It was like something you would have grilled on the bbq yourself!

I’m very picky when it comes to rice at Mexican food restaurants, this is the first time I’ve ever finished all my rice it was that good!

After being here about 20 mins I can see that they are very busy, that speaks allot about their food!

Was our first time visiting and didn’t know what to expect however, it was a very pleasant experience. From the outside it didn’t look like a place to sit and dine but it was. The inside doesn’t accommodate a very large group of people, maybe 10 to fifteen tables so, it’s an intimate space. The food was very good and we’ll definitely go back.

The food anytime I've ordered has been GREAT! It looks really good, and I've never been in person, however, I plan to go soon. The photos others have shared of the inside has me a bit concerned. However, as far as delivery It's been pretty good. One time I got a text letting me know my order arrived, and with others no notification that's most likely my fault I need to fix our ring doorbell it unfairly gives the impression they can click it and we'll know someone is there. I will say this place has hands down some of the best Mexican food in the area. I'll update my review once I get to eat in person with my wife, but, for now really solid place for food. I like the chips and queso with salsa they're not skimpy about the chips or dips. The green enchiladas have been great, and the Asada as well. That's all I've had so far so I'll let y'all know.

I think too many people are sleeping on this place! Everything I've had so far has been amazing! Don't let the looks of the building discourage you. The workers are nice and friendly. The food is always fresh and hot. Sweet tea is great as well. Bean and cheese tacos are cheap and the best in town! Try the fajitas too 😍

Man, Fajita Express is the legit, the bomb. The prices are inexpensive. I fed my family of 5 for less than 30 dollars. That's awesome! Bean and cheese tacos for 99 cents! That's unheard of. Fajita Express, keep it up! The food and service is fast and delicious 😋. Highly recommend.

Always ordering their menudo on weekends for delivery service. My fav mex place so far in this area.

Delicious Food for reasonable prices. Chicken Fajita w/cheese and Carnitas Taco are my favorite. The salsas are Tasty and Spicy 🔥
