Sendai Mike is a literal MASTER at the craft; the studio is a chill and relaxing spot for musicians/artists to create and explore. Mike is such a great musical mind to bounce around ideas! Clean recording, crisp mixes/masters, and the snacks game is on point (shout outs to the trail mix and fruit gummies getting me through more than one recording session!)

Not only is Mike a great producer/engineer, but he’s also an extremely solid person.For me personally, because of my endeavor to learn how to mix myself as a music producer and solo artists of sorts, not only did he fulfill his job description as an engineer; he also became a teacher to me. Providing me with knowledge and a perspective that’s continued to make me better at what I do. A person who does their job is one thing. But a person who will show you (to the extent they can) how to do THEIR JOB is a whole different thing. And so, Mike is a whole different kind of person.

Mike is everything you want in an audio engineer and more! Seriously. I've been in the music industry for 8+ years - even worked behind the scenes in recording studios, and never have I felt more genuinely welcome and comfortable in a studio than at Sendai Studios. Beyond being a superb mixing engineer, Mike takes great care to make his space accessible and friendly - with details like warm lighting in his recording booth with a salt lamp. He was patient and empathetic. When I shared with him that I was nervous about being back in a recording space because I have an autoimmune disease and still was trying to avoid Covid, he lugged his air purifier in and out of the booth without second thought, carefully trying to make sure all spaces were ventilated so I wouldn't have to worry. Furthermore, the track sounds sooo good!!! We mixed a song in one session, and I'm so excited to release it. Between an affordable mixing rate and awesome vibes, I feel really lucky to have found this spot!

Working with Sendai is a breeze. Very professional in his approach, his setup is legit, and he’s VERY knowledgeable in regards to Audio Engineering. I’ve been recording with him since 2018 and the product is well worth the price. He has a very calming energy and always allows me to lead my sessions how I see fit. I got recommended to Mike from another mixing engineer. My time with Mike and getting to know him is very good. He listens to what you have in mind to your songs. Does an AMAZING job at mixing your track to perfection. He masters your tracks to the best he could and gives you tips on how to sound perfect on your songs. His studio is laid back and very nice. I can’t explain how grateful I am to have met Mike. I found Mike on Instagram when I just started producing. I was learning and believe me it was a lot a trial and error. I appreciate Mike because I would send music to him and he was always patience and made sure the work he mastered was satisfactory to my standards. He will not complete the job until you are satisfied. His communication is off the charts. He always checked in and asked for my feedback.

In addition, in the music industry it’s difficult to find people that you can actually trust with your music. I trust Mike and I will forever refer to Mike when I need work done.
