Lunch for $20 dollar that has mango pudding and fried chicken were very large for me to finish. Taste was good. My friend ordered sphagetti and chicken curry, which was good as well

Cozy lil Japanese curry spot with good, casual atmosphere and cute wall art. Order at the counter and they bring food to your table - everything very tasty. I enjoyed the beef curry (comes with hard boiled egg…) and pumpkin croquettes!

It was one of the best katsu curries I had in seattle. The chicken was so tender, and curry was amazing. Veg gyoza was also good. The service was so fast, definitely a good place for nearby working people. You can customize what can be added to the curry, try mushrooms, and they were really good with curry.

My wife has been ordering from this place lately and I have been hearing mostly good things. I was downtown today and had nothing to eat for lunch so I took a bus to Hurry Curry Tokyo. The place had a casual vibe and they had a minimalist look. I went after the lunch rush but they still had people coming in. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry (medium spice) which came with the curry on the side and with some side salad. I was glad to see that they had canned Calpico but they also have fountain drinks.

I got my food quickly after ordering at the counter. The chicken katsu was fried perfectly and the medium spiced curry had a kick but not too overwhelming. Overall a great lunch experience.

I read about this spot while eating brunch at Portage Bay. Given the food fanatic I am, it was now or never. So I headed here after I finished brunch and ordered the chicken Katsu curry, spicy. The curry was 🔥, just an explosion of flavor and blended perfectly well with the crispy chicken cutlet n rice. The side salad was a good supplement with the Asian ginger dressing always on point. Glad I stopped here, after brunch, and left completely satisfied.
Will eat here again before I leave Seattle.

Non-fussy traditional katsu experience. You grab a menu and order at the counter.

I got the traditional chicken katsu curry. The medium spice is just perfect and the flavors were good. Chicken was breaded well, not too much and it was crunchy and crispy.
It came with a salad also.

Fun decor inside and it wasn't very busy.

Will come back again to satisfy my katsu cravings in the future.

Very nice restraunt, very very clean. Super friendly staff, good menu with some unique items. Food is fairly priced for quality and quantity. It comes out pretty fast and hot. Flavors are very good, nothing bland here.

This place has amazing Tokyo curry to offer. I tried the Chicken Katsu Curry with rice, Curry Cheese Fries, croquettes, fried Calamari and just the Chicken Cutlet by itself too. The food is delicious and it has a good price point which is even better during the happy hours. They also offer complimentary beverages on the fountain.

When around downtown Seattle and really hungry, this place is sure to please your taste buds and fill you up..

I make Japanese curry at home and remember eating it during my childhood in Japan. This brought back fond memories and was fantastically flavorful. I really wish I could get something like this at home, besides the awesomeness I prepare on my own. 🙂 I had to travel halfway across the country to experience this and it was worth it...so much so that I'll make it a point to eat here again when I visit Seattle again.

Very good curry katsu! Customer service is great as well. I had just ordered my food and the time for the ferry had changed from a one hour wait to leaving in 15 mins. I told the lady at the front that I would now suddenly need my order to go, and she was like, "yeah no problem!" She had it packed and ready to go in a mater of minutes. I hopped in an uber, got on my ferry, ate it on the boat, and it was amazing! I'll be back. Very good food, very good service!

Dinner for 4 on a Tuesday @6:30pm. No waiting and plenty of tables. Food was quick to come out. I had a katsudon curry set. It was very good! We had a shared curry cheese fries on the table that everyone loved. The rest of the crew had chicken katsu curry, menchi curry and Happy hour curry bowl. Everybody came away satisfied with their meal. Great experience, would eat here again. Worth a try if you are in the area.

The person at the front was busy on her phone and didn't notice us for a minute or two. She was very nice though and helped us order. The food was pretty good but it needed more curry sauce. After ordering, the arrived quick. Overall I thought it was an enjoyable place.

TL;DR: This place is great. Don't mind the overly negative reviews.

Don't let the old reviews keep you from coming here.
The food is great, portions are good, the staff is lovely and the atmosphere is simple and appropriate.

I'm glad I decided to try it myself.

The fountain drink indeed has a weird taste, which I recommend avoiding, but they also sell bottled drinks and offer water for free.

The spicy levels seem appropriate, and the one review complaining about it seems to have come here with the wrong expectations.

Tucked away in one corner of Seattle, this Japanese curry pace is really authentic and serves up some really great curry dishes! How authentic is their curry? It tastes just like ones I had in Japan and a closer look at the kitchen and you’ll see Japanese chefs working on your dish! Will definitely have to come back here again for the other stuffs.

Great food. Had the chicken katsu curry and curry fries. The curry is fantastic and can be made to be spicy or mild. I actually hurt myself I ate so much. They were out of cheese for the curry fries but it was still delicious

Quick, delicious, and reasonably priced.
Ordering was easy, the brunch special was good, and the prices / portions were good.
Tasty options for both meat eaters and vegetarians/vegans alike.
Plentiful seating, too!

The food was really good. I ordered a side of brown rice and a side of katsu chicken. I also tried the matcha pudding. It was really refreshing, with just the right amount of sweetness. So delicious!

They offered brown rice for like a 1$ more instead of white rice, really liked the sauce on the side so you can choose how to eat it. Have to order first at the counter then sitting yourself, overall, lots of seating, lighting, and good amount of good at good quality.

We got the chicken katsu curry and the seafood medley curry. Both were very good. The chicken was tender inside and crunchy on the outside. And the seafood medley had a good amount of seafood. Would definitely visit again!

Had the chicken katsu and chicken karaage. Both were off the happy hour menu and tasted great with sizable portions. Would definitely return.
