Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital

I’ve been going to Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital since Dr Reno took over the practice about 10 years ago. Dr Reno has cared for our English and French Bulldogs and given them outstanding care. Our little Frenchie has an on-going medical issue which has been very challenging to diagnose, manage and care for but Dr Reno has been tireless in her pursuit to help her and to offer treatment options. Dr Reno is very knowledgeable, spends as much time as you’d like explaining what’s going on with your pet and truly cares for your pet. Het office staff is friendly and helpful, particularly Rachel. I can not recommend her more. Five stars!

My family has been very pleased with the Pet Hospital. They have been cordial, very helpful and Conscientious about our pet. Our dog has had numerous shots and surgery at the Pet Hospital performed by Dr Reno. The results speak for themselves. We have enjoyed a happy and healthy pet under the Pet Hospital’s care. They are a great service to our local community.

Dr. Susan Reno and her staff at the Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital are second to none! They are great to talk to, responsive to inquiries, patient with my pet, and all around amazing professionals. I can't imagine taking my pet anywhere else in North Texas. Well worth the drive from anywhere. You won't find a better veterinarian in Texas.

Dr Susan is very caring and knowledgeable about my pets health. Her kind and gentle manor is very comforting. I highly recommend this hospital.

My sweet greyhound Cissy started going to Dr. Doering when she became the vet at Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital. When I rescued Cissyr from Greyhounds Unlimited, they informed me that greyhounds need special care due to their lean body fat. I never had to worry that Cissy was not get ting the best care. Dr. Deoring always took time to explain any procedures needed and I credit her with helping to extend my sweet dogs life. Greyhounds normally do not live longer than 11 years but with our love and a great vet she made it to 14. Although I will not be getting another furbaby for sometime, I know that I will always have a wonderful vet when I do. Thank you to everyone at Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital. I love this vet Susan. She is amazing to have! I can ask her a question about my pet and she is so good that she can almost tell me exactly what is wrong! Without a picture. I asked her about a cat that was limping , I figure maybe a fracture she told me check her nails. I did and yes it was it! I am amazed at her expertise! She is awesome.

We were referred by Lonestar Dog Ranch. We had our first visit for our Oliver boy. All of our quesions were answered, felt confident about the care he got, and are so happy to be getting such quality care. We will be back with our Ruby girl in the weeks to come to get established.

Our Ruby girl got established shortly after our Oliver boy. Still just as happy with the care they get at Virginia Parkway Hospital. We have seen three different vets and they have all answered our questions and been patient with us as we try to make sure we are navigating their care the best we possibly can. The front staff is great and is always so helpful. Can't recommend them enough.

We have been using Dr. Doering for a year and a half and have been extremely pleased with the professional care we have received. Every time I call whether it be to schedule and appointment or call with a question or concern, I have always felt that the staff was very kind and caring of the situation. We recently had to have several tumors removed surgically and the care our dog received was top notch! They called the next day to check on her. We love Dr. Doering and her staff!

I have been using Dr. Doering now for over a year. I must say that I have had several pets in my life and have used several vets. She and her staff are by far the most loving and caring folks I have had the pleasure of doing business with. She loves my Gabby and Bart as if they were her own. It is great to have a place to take my little loved ones and know that they will be well taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Doering and her staff at Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital. You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Reno and her staff are so wonderful, patient and kind. They truly care about your fur-babies well being. The quality of care you get here is top notch. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Reno!

Took my Beagle for her first visit. Waiting room wasn't packed. We were seen for our appointment on time. Staff, veterinarian and tech were very friendly and informative. Prices are less expensive than other veterinarians in the area for vaccinations. This will be our new veterinarian.

Staff was so welcoming and helpful. Everyone was polite and helpful. Dr. Doering took her time with each of my pets. She went above and beyond for not only my pets, but for myself as well. I have been several times as I have several animals...each visit has been very easy, comfortable and affordable.
Dr.Doering is very patient, kind and understanding...allowing me to make decisions that best fit our needs. I greatly appreciate all the services offered here and the entire staff.

Dr. Doering and Dr. Turner are amazing veterinarians. You can tell they really care about animals and know what they are doing. All of the techs and receptionists are so kind and friendly as well. This is really a great hospital and I always trust them with my cats.

Dr. Doering is a true professional. I have been to many clinics and this one by far is one of the best! ( I have been going here since 2005) The staff is always helpful and friendly. Dr. Doering always takes plenty of time to explain everything and never makes you feel rushed. She treats my 3 furry "Kids" like her own. I am very happy with this clinic and would highly recommend them.

We were very happy patients of Dr. King. We were a bit nervous when she sold the clinic to Dr. Doering. We quickly learned that the care and level of service was going to be just as comprehensive and complete with Dr. Doering. I have 3 dogs. The 2 older ones are Therapy Dogs at Baylor Hospital and the puppy is in training to do the same. They are my kids, my "business partners". Their health is as important to me as my own. .. Dr. Doering always takes however much time is needed to explain things in "people talk". She explains problems and offers options of treatment. Dr. Doering always tries the less invasive, less expensive tests and treatments before going to the more drastic ones. I appreciate that. If there is any question she refers us to an Internist, Ophthalmologist or Dental specialist...all of which we have needed. Dr. Doering follows up and monitors our progress. As for follow-up, the day after a visit to Dr. Doering, there is always a call from Donna to check up on us and see how we are doing. Again, I really appreciate that. Donna is very compassionate and understanding. Tracy has been so helpful, answering a number of questions. If she does not have the answer, she asks Dr. Doering and gets back to me in a timely manner. Tracy never makes me feel stupid or like I am wasting her valuable time. - also very much appreciated. I feel very comfortable and confident that my Girls are getting the best possible care from a Dr. and Staff that are not only competent, but also compassionate and caring. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Virginia Parkway Vet Hosp and Dr. Doering.

The whole staff was so kind to us last week when we lost our Scottie of 13 years. They were honest and genuine when they told us his condition. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
