Cascade View Elementary School

It's very diverse. Teachers and staff is very friendly and help out a lot. My 4 boys went there and 2 of my nieces. They all love it there.

My son just literally started there today. I hope to update my review but man so far it's been interesting. The social worker was nice but we never seemed to of gotten her full attention though and that was very off putting as we are re-entering the public school system from homeschool and had questions and concerns that were not to be taken lightly but I felt like we were bothering her. It's unfortunate as they are here to help and I know they are busy (my wife is a social worker), but man it would be nice to at least feel like we were heard. The second issue is the call my wife literally just received from the school nurse. When asked a question please let people explain! Don't keep saying "yes, uh huh, yeah, ok" after every word people say when answering your question. In the end she was right, you weren't listening to her and she had to repeat what she literally just said while demanding you to listen and not talk! You asked a question and want to be informed, well my wife and I know the answer and sometimes it will not be a one word answer! Other than that it seems like a good school. They have a lot of immigrants and accommodate for that with how they group students to complete work. The office staff is also nice and I like that they play music and keep it fun. I have grace for the social worker, but the whole nurse thing could have taken maybe 30seconds but she just wouldn't let her explain/answer her question. She was nice but that gets overlooked in situations like this.
