Nikito's Upholstery

A few years ago I had a reputable upholstery company recover a double chaise cushion with Sunbrella fabric. Last year it suddenly came apart at the seams. Decided to take it to Nikito’s who was able to take the entire welting and fabric apart and resew all of it with the correct thread for outdoor cushions. Also did the same with the back cushions. Great job! Would highly recommend!

I'm so happy I found Nikito! I used to go to someone way up near Burnet, but never again! He really got me out of a jam and miraculously made a sofa cushion look brand new after an unknown party guest burned a hole in it with a lit cigarette! Nikito not only cleared his busy schedule to help me, but was extremely prompt and worked his magic within an hour! I will NEVER go to any other upholsterer after discovering Nikito!

Took an old family sofa to Jose at Nikito's and he did a five star job. Excellent craftsmanship and finished right on time for a reasonable price. Definitely going to be my go to upholstery shop in Austin.

Jose did an excellent job replacing the leather on our coffee table/ottoman. It was sold to us as leather but was actually more of a vinyl that began to crack and peel. Jose made it beautiful again!

Nikito's work shows love of his craft. He doesn't do it the cheap way he does it the right way. Perfection!

We brought our 2 counter height chairs to Nikito’s. Jose Antonio (owner) assessed the concern, and he patiently explained what needs to be done/ answered our questions, provided reasonable estimate and time to complete. He did a fantastic job, over and beyond expectation. We’ll definitely come back for other re-upholstery needs.

I'll start by saying that he does exceptionally high quality work at a reasonable price. In addition he is very personable, helpful and easy to work with. Even though we only had a small job (an ottoman) he gave us the same attention that we would have expected if we had had a large order. Always my first choice for any upholstery work in the future.

Jose is a true gem. A true craftsman at a great value. He did two chairs for me that were almost 30 years old and they look better than ever! He is a charming and wonderful man. Be patient, he is in high demand and the absolute best. He is worth the wait!

We've used Nikito several times for some unique and challenging older chairs that we had stripped and re-stained then decided it was out of our league. He did an incredible job matching the style of the old padding with new padding and fabric that we had chosen. He's also super friendly and easy to work with. We recommend him to everyone we can!

If you have great furniture and it needs new life through upholstery - look nowhere else! My wife and I luckily found Nikito's Upholstery by chance - we wanted to get our dining room chairs re-upholstered, we were out grabbing a cup of coffee and while we waited (in our cars, COVID-19 and all) for our order - I came across Nikito's Upholstery.

Jose answered the phone and the conversation couldn't be more cordial and you could tell he wanted to make sure our furniture warranted the investment. I sent Jose some pictures (as requested) and then scheduled to go to his shop and pick out materials.

Jose is a true professional and his passion is showing the customer, his love for their satisfaction through his work... The more Jose explained the intricacies to what he recommended he needed to do to our chairs, well - you could actually think he was trying to sell you something - that couldn't be farther from the truth! Again, Jose's passion (and I can say this with the utmost confidence) is ensuring you leave so satisfied with his work - (he even said jokingly) you don't bring the particular item he re-upholstered back...

Well, I can proudly say not only were my wife and I satisfied with Jose's work - but we didn't think it would be as good as it was... We didn't underestimate Jose in any way, the dining room set had seen close to a decade of wear and tear (seat cushions most of all). I want to say my wife and I kept looking at the new seat cushions and couldn't believe the amazing work Jose did... When we went home and put our seat cushions back on the chairs - we each (my wife and I) sat on the chairs again and again at our amazement.

Talk about bringing life back to our dining room table (which by the way; to add to why we're so surprised is going to become an outdoor dining room set). You will absolutely not be disappointed if you have any furniture you need re-upholstered or you want to bring back to life something (fabric or leather) you don't just simply want to throw away.

We are SO happy with Jose's work - my wife and I had been discussing having a reclining chair (again, when you buy something that's quality it lasts) re-upholstered. We are even happier and very anxious to see what magic Jose does with it...we have already ordered (with Jose's help as he shares his more than a decade and a half of experience) this gorgeous green leather and are merely waiting another week and a half to bring the chair in and hand it to Jose.

Bottom line, and I don't tend to go on and on about reviews, but in today's society - people are too quick to complain and not take enough time to praise. You WILL NOT go wrong if you bring your business here.

I am still having our dining room re-finished so I'm not going to take away from Jose's work by posting pictures yet - I will proudly jump on here again when we get our green chair back - which will give me time to hopefully post both results of Jose's true passion which you'll see as his future customer.

Had my car seat fixed and he squeezed me in one day. He knows what he is doing. Very busy guy, so he doesn't need the business. But he is very nice. The job was really well done though.

Despite being extremely busy, Jose was able to fix our couch cushion quickly. He takes such pride in his work and was such a kind person.
