The frontside grind is a great little place to get coffee. It is next to the Boulevard Park Thriftway, which is accessible via Des Moines Memorial Drive. This is typically where I get my espresso when I need a cup to get me through the afternoon. I'm not sure which coffee source they use, but the discussion is always pleasant and the coffee is always good. For being the only skateboarders in the area, bonus points.

I really like the coffee here but there is always a huge line of women waiting to get drinks with their dogs. Last time I overheard them talking about the owner’s “huge bulge.” He’s a friendly guy, but I didn’t care to look. It’s all the female customers seem to chat about while they sip their mochas.

Every time I come out of the thrift way, I always see this scruffy looking guy that mans the espresso. I always buy a Italian soda from him. It's fun talking to him too because he's known me sense I was a child. Sometimes the person changes out for a bald looking guy.

Frontside grind is an awesome little spot to pick up some coffee. It is located adjacent to the Boulevard Park Thriftway off of Des Moines Memorial Drive. Sometimes I will pick up a cup of espresso to keep me going after lunch and this is usually where I get it. I don't know what supplier they use but the coffee is on point and there's always Pleasant conversation. Extra points for being skateboarders owning the place.
