Pinckney Diner

I feel this is the best diner in Livingston county. I love their breakfasts, sandwiches, wraps and the salmon dinner is fantastic. Great food and great service.

I'm usually wary of 4- or 5-star reviews of small town diners, because in my experience, all the locals go and give high reviews, and the restaurant may be quite average. I'm not exactly a local, and this place does rate quite high for a diner! Breakfast was jam-packed and there were only two servers on the floor, but they were game and kept on top of things. The huevos rancheros were delicious and looked like a picture out of a foodie magazine. Hearty portions, clean and bright, friendly staff. The only slightly less appealing factor was the omelet -- but this isn't unusual. When I was a kid, omelets were eggs folded around cheese and fillings, which is delicious. Now, all diners seem to serve "omelets" which are basically a mess of scrambled eggs with meat and veg stirred in. To me, that isn't an omelet; it's more or less a frittata (and much less appealing). I prefer a traditional omelet. That won't stop me from coming back. The menu looked good, and I look forward to trying their lunch and dinner selections.

Nice clean restaurant. Dinner very good. After I was seated it took a little to long waiting for the waitress to come to my table to take my order. The time it took to receive my order after the waitress took order was too long, 10 + Min. Waitress did not return to my table .
I had to summon waitress to receive a coffee refill. Requested bread or a roll at time I placed my order, did not receive. Food was very good. The whole process from the time I entered the restaurant and leaving was too long. I paid over $13.00 + $5
00 tip. Service not to good

We were out for a drive today and came upon the Pinckney Diner and decided to give it a try for lunch. Jen was a joy, the food was wonderful and the town is beautifully quaint.

My wife and I get carry out here a lot. We have never had bad food or bad service.

My son took me there for my Birthday for lunch and my daughter came too.

My wife and I rode into Pinckney on our trike and being hungry I pulled over by the park and asked a lady where she suggested to get a good meal. She named a few but the first was the Pinckney Diner. I figured there was some reason she named the diner first so that’s where we headed. Friendly staff and got a great meal at a very good price. We both ordered the meatloaf with a salad. A portion of meatloaf three times (three good slices)what I expected and with “real” mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli with carrots. Next time riding in that direction we plan to stop again.

I ordered the full BBQ Ribs very good and tender and the service was great

Great little restaurant with a good selection on their menu. Friendly staff.

My mom and I each had the Ruben sandwich and honestly we could have split one. I was delicious.

This wonderful diner has great food and a really friendly staff! I accidentally left something on the table when I left and my waitress actually chased me down so I wouldn't forget it. I felt like family my first time there :)

Very nice small town Diner. We have had dinner a few times and have always been very happy with the food and friendly service. Well we went for breakfast on Sunday morning and everything was great. I just want to let the whole crew/family at the Diner that you do a great job. 👍

Love the family feel here. The skillets are also very yummy. Service is quick too. I tip every time. You will too if you go.

Every Sunday we have breakfast here. Love all the girls that work there. The omelettes are amazing. Large variety of breakfast options. Poblano omelette is quite possibly the best ever. Make sure you add pulled pork!!
