Mailly Waterfront Park

This is a well-kept little park at the boat launch. This park is located right in the middle of the village which makes it a perfect place to park and explore the surroundings.

What a hidden gem right off 295! We needed a quiet place to stop so we could stretch our legs, and found this terrific little park! The family loved it!

Very pleasant to set and watch the river and the reflection on the water! Some time the Bowdoinham community will have events and activities their. You can also kayaking, canoeing and boating. This park is in the down town of our time. Kids should be under supervision all the time. This place is not a playground. However there is a skate park close by.

I grew up near here and my whole life I've loved few things more than visiting the bowdoinham town landing.

Bowdoinham is small and cozy, and the landing has a great boat ramp. The docks are easy to walk down and fish off of and there's a farmer's market here as well.

From here it's super easy to pop in and explore the Cathance River, which is lovely. Head south and you're in Merrymeeting Bay, head north and you have a lovely paddle which feels like you could be in the northern woods. Good conservation efforts have preserved a rural character along the river.

We went to Sylvester's Fish and chips again today. They are closing for the season today at 3:00 pm. Best scallops evah!!! 😁
