Big selection of workout & cardio machines. My main complaint from 10 years ago was the ventilation–someone has fixed it. Clean and affordable; free parking.

It's pretty dopeness, it has a lot of workout machines, and it's pretty calm and relaxing!

Sekou is a true professional. I was in town for a few days and took advantage of the free three day membership. Sekou made the appropriate call inviting me to the club for a tour and when I explained my situation, he became the most professional brand ambassador. The morning team was wonderful as well.

Nice place very small, a lot of fake greenery but it makes the place feel homey, not a sterile gym.
No pool or whirl pool, I think it caters to quick in and out cliental with places to be and people to see.
Clean,
front desk people were clearly bored and not very welcoming or helpful it was as if I was an imposition rather than a member.

I won't be back to this location.

I came here to get a free trial just to try something new. Worker Sekou P’tah was really helpful with that. Place looks updated and clean. Definitely getting a membership and coming back here.

I travel quite a bit for work. To be honest, most of the LA fitness locations I have been to are in poor shape. Since I come here at least twice a month, I have been very pleased with this location. The equipment is in decent shape. The faculty is very clean. The staff is friendly. In the mornings, it is not very busy. This is the best LA fitness I’ve been to in all my travels.

This is a great gym. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If a machine is broken they are always quick to repair it, they do a great job at sanitation, and the other people that attend this gym are cool. I would advise going at any time other than 5pm because it gets really busy and crowded during that time.

Was not very crowded when I came late Sunday afternoon. I entered through the back Mall parking structure since LA fitness validates 2 hours. They have 3 squat racks and 3 flat bench presses and everything I need. I would prefer round circle weight plates for deadlift but hexagonal plates are okay

I give club 15 stars if I could, however it only allows 5…I’ve been going here for nearly 3 years and I watched the GM Sekou and his team lose staff and members fast during some rough times(Covid, and 3 different riots and looting…even some disturbing violence but still this Staff kept on pushing making us all feel welcome with their politeness and smiles….no one probably never noticed how they held the gym together by keeping it clean and how the GM confronted the violence on the streets before allowing them to over throw the gym like many stores in the uptown area experienced…I stopped by this morning to commend the front desk staff manager and the GM Sekou for being there everyday for us with genuine smiles and motivation to keep us all going! What a great team in LA FITNESS UPTOWN!!!!

The new general manager Brian was very friendly and I could tell he cared and wanted to be there. The facility was very clean and well kept. I signed back up to become a member and they welcomed me with open arms.

It can be pretty busy right after work, but other than that did it to be pretty good. Full complement of equipment and right here in the neighborhood. Validated parking in the garage. All for a very fair price

Definitely a good experience despite the pandemic. There are still some freedom and human rights at place if you know what i am talking about. Great option $50 per month with no contact

I toured the gym for a potential membership and was highly impressed with Taytanna at the front desk. Was very professional and really thinking about joining this club!

I’ve gone here for years and the staff has never been better! Guy manager at the front desk helped me with my account and front desk it always friendly. Also it’s so clean!! Janitorial staff is incredible!

The cleaning staff at this location, keeps this place spotless! I’ve been to LA fitnesses around the country and this is by far the cleanest.

One of the best LA I’ve been:
empty, clean and good atmosphere.

Under new management! I recommend giving this gym a go if you're in the Uptown area. Free 2 hour parking is definitely a bonus!

Nice, Locker room and showers open. Staff constantly cleaning. Great hours, monthly dues with no contract! Wow
