Chinatown Chinese Restaurant

Just ordered from here the 1st time in a very long time and was very impressed. I normally wouldn't order based off of the reviews but my cousin urged for me to give a chance bc she knows I love hot & sour soup.

The hot and sour soup was very tasty, loved the fried wonton wrappers rather than the prepackaged crispy noodles. My husband got the Singapore chow Mai fun, my 3 year old got chicken Chow Mai fun and I got shrimp chow fun. Now, normally, it's very hard to get my daughter to finish her 1st helping but she loved her noodles so much that she asked for a 2nd helping and finished that! My husband refused to share his noodles, a very good indication thatvhe loved it. My chow fun was the perfect texture. Lots of places don't have good quality chow fun noodles but this place had delicious and chewy noodles.

Would definitely order from here again!

I don't get why the negative reviews, I have been coming here for a long time, the food is usually great, especially the Wontons...

Very good food and service. I was here several times about a year ago and was very pleased with the quality of food. I have moved, but was in the area and visited Chinatown Restaurant again with my family. I am glad that the food and service is just as good as it was before. Will come back again.

Best Peking duck in NJ we have had!!!! I'm really surprised as My wife is Chinese and loves Peking duck. It arrived more chopped up than usual but the meat was so moist, the skin crispy and they give you the thin wraps which I like. I feel like those sweet puffy wraps some places give ruin the deliciousness of the duck. I'm really impressed

We also tried Americanized Chinese food like Kung Po chicken. It wasn't very spicy(I'm sure you could ask for more), but it's real chunks of meat and not all breading. Chicken and string beans was tasty, it had a sweet sauce on it but wasn't swimming in gooey sauce, that was good too. And we love their Singapore noodles!!!!!

Their dumplings are also awesome!!! Thinner skin than most places (I got dumplings from Double Ai once and had to throw them away they were gross). These dumplings have a nice crispy skin and you can actually taste the meat.

I'm coming back!!!!!

Chinatown has great food. Good prices and a friendly staff. Since China Paradise has closed definitely go here sit down and have a great dinner. You can bring your own wine or whatever you like to drink.

Best sesame tofu of my 8 years of vegetarian life thus far. I used to work in Wayne and discovered Chinatown but will travel from my office in Mahwah or home in West Milford for their tofu because it's really that good.

I love this restaurant! It has the absolute best chicken and broccoli and every time I try new meal they never fail to make it so delicious!! Totally recommend!

Good chinese takeout food. Was suprised by their extra sea food options. Steam pots and fried fish. Next time I want to check out these options.

The chinese restaurant I used to frequent was losing its touch and I'm happy to replace them with this spot.

We have been ordering take out from here for decades. The food is delicious! The owners are lovely. I’m calling them and there’s no answer; I’m dying for their pork lo Mein.

Love the food. We tried places closer to our home but always come back to China Town because the food is consistently good and the prices are reasonably.

Great service and great food. The owners are very nice and welcoming and the prices are very fair. The lunch specials especially are a great value.

Casual Dinning set up, Best House Special Chow mein Fun and the Sesame Chicken is really good too. Taste like the authetic chinese food of China Town NYC.

Love to go and eat there, the food is freshly made and a great choice for a quite and relaxing meal.
