Staff and vets are very friendly and helpful. The place is so clean - absolutely spotless - and nicely decorated. Efficient scheduling and service. There are a few free spots in a lot for tenants of the building including Columbia City Vet just east of the entrance, and the paid parking on the street and a $2/hour pay lot across the street.

I had to bring my dog here on an emergency visit and I am overwhelming impressed with their ability to take her last minute when it hasn’t been her vet of record. Everyone was incredibly kind and handled her quickly all while she was bleeding all over.

They explained everything clearly and were very up front about costs etc.

This will now be her new vet. Huge thanks to the vet on duty today and the whole staff. Everyone was great.

I recently switched my vet over to Columbia City Vet and I was so pleasant with our overall experience. I had inquired about being a new patient two weeks ago and was told to fill an online form. They got back to me shortly and was able to schedule me in.

I met Lizzy and I wanted to have a follow up for my dog because she recently had bladder stones. Lizzy was so thorough and explained everything to me with so much detail. She even sent me home with more info and resources for me to look into in terms of preventative diet care.

She ran all the urine test that I wanted and even explained to me the test results showing me all the numbers and levels. Though we weren't here for a physical exam, she still took a quick look at my dog and took her vitals, which I appreciated.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the team at Columbia City Vet, everyone including the front desk staff Cece to the vet tech and Dr. Lizzy made us feel very welcomed and cared for. It has been a long time coming for me to find a vet that I truly can trust, and I'm so glad to say I finally found them!

Incredible team of vets, techs, assistants, and front desk. I'm blown away by how responsive the team is in getting our kitten the care that he needs with his condition, whether it is in refilling his meds, getting his special diet food, or returning our call for urgent checkups and tech visits. Their prices are also very reasonable. We're blessed to live so close by to such a great clinic.

I’ve been taking my cats Humphrey & Harley to Columbia City Vet from day one that I rescued them. The courtesy and care towards my fur babies and me has been top notch every time, even through COVID. Maggie Schroeder’s knowledge and calm bed side manor really give me and my cats the confidence to be at ease and ask any questions, as silly as they may sound sometimes. I transferred my dog Nova’s care here when Dr. Schroeder joined the team since she has been her vet since she was a puppy. Nova loves coming to see Dr. Schroeder and I trust her and the team so much with their care for her. We drive from past Duvall to come here because I love this team and trust their care so much! Over the past couple years we have seen a number of people on the team and we always feel taken care of and in good hands. The team has gone out of their way to reassure me and ease my anxiety when Nova underwent a dental surgery with multiple tooth extractions, and called to give regular check ins. They are always helpful with getting a last minute appointment when I call or email, and Maggie has helped me make many decisions about Nova’s health. I recommended this place to friends and they now bring their pets here too. Thank you everyone at Columbia City Vet for all that you do for the animals we are lucky enough to have in our lives! You all are truly amazing.

Wonderful staff and very friendly doctors who really took the time to help an aging Greyhound get the best care plan out of life. The hyper Terrior mix gets his nails done without a squeak and they e-mail me notifications on upcoming shots and results of labs.

I can't say enough about this vet hospital. The entire team, from the vets to the technicians and front desk, is incredible. They provide exceptional care for our pets. Recently, my senior dog had health issues, and Dr. Schroeder and the their assistant Theron went above and beyond to help. They were responsive, compassionate, and explained everything thoroughly. Their prices are reasonable, and I'm grateful to have found this hospital and its amazing team.

This is the Vet I went to when my much loved, long term Vet Dr Young in Rainier Beach sold his practice. I was impressed with the care my elderly cat received from Dr. Lizzy Dean and the rest of the staff. I feel confident that their care allowed my furry friend to live another year and a half of good quality life.

This is hands down the best vet I've ever taken my pets to. The folks at the front desk are SO kind, caring, and helpful - even when they're busy. The vet who cares for my pets is thorough, gentle, and actually listens to me. I never feel like they're trying to upsell me, and during times when they're way too busy to see my pet for something non-life-threatening (like skin rash, for example), they always follow up with a personal email that has a list of over-the-counter solutions suggested by the vet. Some vets in this area will either not return your call or basically tell you "tough luck" if they can't see you. I deeply appreciate this team of people and the care they provide!

I discovered this wonderful clinic while I was temporarily caring for my friend's pup. The front desk and clinic staff were excellent and everyone went above and beyond to treat us like family and enable us to leave the visit feeling happy and relieved. Through a significant amount of detective work, they made sure my pup got everything he needed to feel better, with a lot of ear rubs and love along the way. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Lizzy is incredibly caring, professional and knowledgeable. I completely trust her expertise and recommendations for my pet's health and longevity. Clinic communication is excellent and Dr. Lizzy follows up with a personalized video reporting on your pet's test results which I think is a great value add to the care. My appointments have been prompt and timely and all communication leading up to them, including new COVID protocol has been seamless and well done. I love this clinic and though I have closer options, I choose to drive from 30 minutes away to have my pet taken care of here.

Columbia City is hands down the best vet I have ever been to. This team is incredible. The vets are kind and compassionate, patient, and very knowledgeable. They diagnosed a couple really tough conditions in our dog Kali long before the symptoms were very clear. In the process they worked with us through myriad discussions and tests and always involved us in the decision making. They are cost-aware and work to find the best care that fits the family. Dr. Dean is absolutely incredible and went over and above calling us in the evening or weekends and emailing with us as we were in the thick of some very serious health issues with our dog. I feel very confident in their quality of care and their whole staff was always a pleasure to work with. The building is modern, clean, and well designed. Ultimately our senior dog needed to be put down and, in one of the hardest days of my life, the team responded amazingly. Within hours on a Saturday a team was at my house, where my dog could be more at ease. They were kind and loving and clearly explained the process and asked if we had questions. They gave us all the time we needed with her and you could tell it pained them too. I am deeply grateful for the superb care and compassion we received here.

I have been taking my senior cat here for about 2.5 years. They have taken amazing care of him, and always are upfront about cost, needs, and the reasoning behind everything. On top of that Lizzy Dean, vet and co-owner, goes above and beyond in explaining in detail to me my cat's condition and all the ends and outs. I always feel well taken care myself, and like my cat (as grumpy as he is going to the vet!) seems to get the highest level of care.

The doctors and staff here are amazing!! They have treated me and my kitty with such kindness, I really appreciate the extra time taken to explain care options. They go above and beyond by following up on email and have always been super responsive and quick to get us in as needed. Thank you!

Columbia City Veterinary Hospital is by far the best place to take your pets. I was incredibly nervous for my little one as it was her first vet visit and it was not for a routine health check. I received such a warm welcome and was calmed by Dr. Lizzy Dean. She answered my million questions and was so sweet to my fur baby. I even requested that they put one of her favorite toys in with her and they did! I love their texting options and they are very quick to respond. Both Dr. Lizzy Dean and the hospital attendant Imani were terrific! I cannot thank them enough for helping our little family out. I HIGHLY recommend them!

We always have a great experience with this vet for both our 11 mo puppy and our adult cat. They have excellent customer service and appreciate the check ins and follow ups even after we leave the vet!

We love this vet! Even in times of COVID they have been personable, attentive, and quick responses to email and phone. I was leaving town and needed to get my pup a flu shot and they were able to get her in next day. They also helped me track down her previous records to determine whether or not she'd need a booster. They have really stepped up where past experiences with other vets have fallen through. I live in the area so location is convenient, but I'll continue to make the drive should we ever move. They are worth it!

I was very impressed with the care and treatment we received yesterday when we had our cat euthanized. I am a LVT but did not want to go to my place of work for such a difficult and personal event. We did not feel rushed, the staff were very professional and calm, there was no air of stress in the building at all. The staff were all pleasant and polite and our dear little Aero had such a peaceful end in a caring environment. Thank You.

I am very thankful for each staff member at CC vet hospital. They took great care of both my dog and me. They go out of their way to make the animals feel comfortable and also provided me with options to care for my dog that fit my budget. And most importantly, they saved my dog! I feel very bonded to this group, they have gone above and beyond to help my best friend. I am endlessly thankful.
