This Japanese market place is in the Japan Market place of Columbus area. It is a small grocery house, full of Japanese products - from fresh produce to seafood, Japanese wine, grocery including miso, seaweed. Literally tons of products with many different instant noodles, mochi, and frozen snacks. Please visit if you want to get some good, and fresh seafood,or other stuff. They sell fresh sushi and other food too.

Tensuke is the standard for sushi. Perfect place to grab a quick lunch. Tons of different sushi, and meals available. They also sell sweets from Belle's Bread, the most amazing bakery just down the way. They are also a small grocery store with a restaurant attached to it. If you've never been to a market like this you won't be disappointed. But be warned, the best comes with its own consequences, they get very very very busy. But their well trained staff are quick with lines. Enjoy.

So much Japanese products here: Sushi look so freshly made, variety of lunch boxes mochi ice cream, noodles, etc. This place is full of customers on the weekend, and My family do really like this store, especially our kids. Be back soon next chance whenever my wife drive us here. There are other Japanese stores in this shopping center, especially the Bakery that seem always full of customers.

I know I can get the best freshly made sushi every time! I can also stock up on my favorite Japanese pickled vegetables, green tea, frozen treats, and fresh produce. The store is always clean and the staff so friendly and helpful. One of favorite markets in Columbus!

I really enjoyed walking through this market! So many unique things to check out and buy. There's a selection of fresh seafood and produce but I found myself fascinated with the prepared meals. I picked up a few to try and they were all awesome. Good selection of sushi rolls and they were all delicious!

This super market is amazing. It Carrie’s tons of different Japanese style bento, nirgiri and rolls under reasonable price. Besides, people can buy fresh fish and ask them to make sashimi for you.

Lots of fresh fish and plenty of options as far as East Asian snacks go. I typically make a trip once a week for their prepared and packaged lunch items. If you're in the market for East Asian foods you'll be more than satisfied here.

Very cute and well organized grocery store! Plenty of food to choose from and an admirable sake selection which I had to pry myself away from. Everything is organized like a conventional grocery store and the store is generally pretty clean!

Best fresh-made sushi ever! So generous in putting great ingredients in the sushi! Eating 3-4 made me feel full already. Reasonable price.

The fresh carryout sushi is the best sushi anywhere in town. It is mainly a Japanese market with high quality quick frozen fish, miso's, and all sauces needed to make your own meals.

What a phenomenal find, who'd expect this in COLUMBUS, OHIO? Very authentic with all sorts of gems. Onigiri, mochi, sushi, eel bowls, YES!

Amazing little Japanese market that sticks fresh produce, lots of fish and other expected items, and many imported snack foods. They also have a decent frozen section and a whole aisle of spices, sauces, and other flavoring type items.

They also have a small selection of baked goods from Belle's Bread and a growing selection of Sake. They have a beer cooler in the back corner as well.

Our most frequent purchase though is fresh sushi. They stock roughly a dozen options/combinations throughout the day and replenish as needed. The sushi sells out fast around dinner time though! These are some of the same staples you will find at Akai Hana but without the wait and slightly cheaper.

Perhaps the best reason to come here is that Tensuke Market is at the heart of Japan Market. Home to other amazing businesses like Tensuke Express, Akai Hana, Belle's Bread, and J Avenue. It's also right by the Pepperidge Farm overstock store and a short walk to several other great Asian restaurants.

Love tensuke market for its fresh sushi and the fact that they cut it up for you in 5 different styles. They also sell fresh made rolls which are pretty good. Sushi 10 is in the back now and part of this store. They have sea urchin in stock, and it was pretty good. Lots of Asian food items, mostly Japanese.

This place is very well laid out and easy to navigate around. The sushi bar and the noodle shops food is very fresh. The market itself has wide array of items from japan and other Asian countries that very unique and tasty. The little gift shop has some very unique items for stuffed animals to skin care products. All the staff are very friendly and helpful when for looking item's. The bakery has some of the best tasting cake, bread and pastries in town. I would highly highly highly recommend coming here with family and friends to have a very enjoyable time and experience a taste of another life style without having to make a trip around the world.

I am so happy there is a store like this in Columbus. The store is fully stocked with all the ingredients you might need to recreate a Japanese recipe. I also appreciate they carry BCD Tofu house Soon dubu kits for a reasonable price. From fresh noodles, japanese pantry items, vegetables, to melon pan (pastry) and even sake. This store has it all. また来ます!

Awesome place and atmosphere, great location to find all the hidden asian accessories you can't get at your normal grocery store. From fresh food pre made, sushi grade fish, frozen options, snacks, and alcohol. It's truly a one stop shop ran like your favorite grocery store back in japan!

As my first trip to a market I was surprised to see just how full and diverse their products are with decent prices too. They have sushi and bento boxes, plenty of sweets, biscuits, ramen, and snacks, fresh and frozen seafood (which also looked very fresh), and an area for alcohol, desserts, etc. The cashier was very friendly and it was a good experience. I definitely suggest stopping by here.

This Japanese-oriented market is extremely clean and well-organized, with very polite and helpful staff. Their selection of fresh fish is outstanding, and the cuts are both superb and beautifully presented. They have a wide variety of both instant and premade foods, as well as enough staples to stock a well-rounded pantry.

For this gaijin, Tensuke Market is a Japanese remix of a well-stocked local store, with really tasty take-out treats. I can't be in this part of Columbus without stopping.

As a bonus, it's the only place I can find BlackBlack chewing gum, a peppermint flavor bomb if you like *strong* freeze your nose hair peppermint!
