Alexia and the team at Thyme are INCREDIBLE. we were fortunate enough to work with alexia and co. while planning our wedding and not only were we impressed with the food options and how delish everything was, but alexia literally made the process SO easy and stress-free for us!
we hosted a 225 person wedding in october and our only worry was feeding all our guests good food in a timely manner. alexia provided constant reassurance and allowed us to focus on other small details while having confidence that our guests would be full and happy. every single person we have talked to have commented on the food and how it was the best food and easiest dinner process at a wedding or large event they have ever experienced! so incredibly thankful for the team who worked our wedding and also just thyme in general for having the greatest group of people!
in addition to that, my husband and i wanted to incorporate some of our favorite foods and other restaurants from cleveland to give our guests a lil “taste of cle” and tid bits from our love story. alexia seamlessly coordinated donuts, cookies, ice cream, bagel sandwiches, stadium mustard and some very last minute dietary restrictions into the best night ever! from servers passing out appetizers to delivering mitchel’s on the dance floor, you did it all.
we are forever thankful for you guys and making one of the best nights of our lives also one of the yummiest!
if you are contemplating using thyme for your event, don’t debate any longer. just go with them, you can’t and won’t be disappointed! oh and get the mashed potatoes, they are to die for!!!

It is hard to find the right words that describe the emotions we feel about the service that Thyme Catering provided for our wedding day. From the first phone conversation to the food presentation we could not have been more pleased. Chef Mike was a pleasure to work with as he crafted a one of a kind, customized menu that represented who we are. His easy-going attitude and calm nature made it easy to collaborate on the flavors and style of food. Thyme went above and beyond just catering services, they also managed our linens, tables, place settings, and even risers for the photo table! Most importantly, even from afar, their whole team made us feel supported in our vision of having food stations at the wedding. Not only did they make those dreams a reality, but they provided a service that is superior to any other in the business. This review would not be complete without specifically mentioning the catering coordinator, Megan, and her compassionate, organized, thorough, and unwavering support for us, our guests, and the whole wedding. She dedicated her time to help us create a flow for the non-traditional style that we imagined! She took it upon herself to make sure that we had everything we needed to make our day flawless. Megan, Mike, and the whole team did an amazing job making beautiful food that brought our families together! We could not have imagined that our guests would still be talking about the food weeks after the wedding. Incredible staff! Incredible food! Incredible Chef! Incredible Coordinator! Thyme catering is at the top of their game and they took very good care of us.

Mike and the team at Thyme Catering are seriously just THE.BEST., full of pure class, and EXPERTS at what they do. When booking a vendor sometimes you may feel like you are just another event in someone's calendar; a wedding is a sentimental/personal/intimate day, you should never feel that way. Mike let me know that their team wanted MY business, wanted to be a part of our day, and wanted to ensure our food was a reflection of us as a couple. I remember instantly clicking with Mike when we talked, he is perhaps one of our favorite vendors that we worked with. He was so personable and asked questions that displayed his knowledge in the industry. His questions not only saved us money, but were also important questions that many other catering teams hadn't ever asked. After that conversation, I knew he was our guy. I remember calling my event coordinator and fiancé, squealing! He took the time (or "thyme"- lol so many puns with their company name) to truly create a menu that worked FOR US. He accounted not only for our budget but also our vision of the day when he created the meal choices... If you are raving about a caterer do you even need to say the food was good? I feel as if that should be an understood thing...because our food was GOOOOOOOOD. And I have a list of guests that can vouch for it. He was prompt and timely in his communication and helped streamline a lot of information between multiple of my other vendors. He took the time to drive 1.5hrs to visit the venue to ensure the space provided the room and materials he would need to successfully deliver the promises he made. When things got confusing he made sure to proactively reach out to me and clarify. Besides all the behind-the-scenes stuff, I really can not get over how we had such a stunning spread of food at such an affordable price. When I say stunning, yes, it looked and tasted stunning- it's not only about aesthetics, okay..... but kinda also about the aesthetics- it's your wedding day, GET YOU A CATERER THAT CAN DO BOTH. In all seriousness, I can say without hesitation that booking Thyme Catering would be a relief for you because they know what they are doing and they will do the job RIGHT. They exceeded all expectations and delivered exactly as promised. Hiring a vendor like that is honestly the investment you want to make with a wedding, you get what you pay for. Do not settle for subpar when you can have a hardworking team, like Thyme, behind you. They want you to have the most special day and they want their food to be a part of that story. You will not find that with a lot of vendors, I promise. When we sat down for our meal that night after the ceremony I found a note on our table, I will never forget. Mike had wished us well and thanked us for our business and choosing them. I didn't cry when I said yes, but I sure did think about doing it then. I looked up and he was standing in the back watching us all enjoy our food, smiling. You guys... make him your guy! You put so much into an event like a wedding, and to feel appreciated by those playing such a big part in it, really let me know I had made the right choice. Thank you Mike and the Thyme Catering team for helping make our wedding day one to remember, thank you for taking the time to be GREAT at what you do, and thank you for finding the time to thank us for your business. You have a forever and ever Thyme advocate for life in us, and we can't wait to use you for our New Year's Eve party this year!

Mike, Amanda, and the team at Thyme are miracle workers. A few weeks before our wedding, our previous caterer had to close down operations for the rest of the year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Thyme swooped in and saved the day. Having experienced the delicious food and expert professionalism at Thyme, we cannot imagine having worked with any other caterer for our wedding.

In the days leading up to the wedding, every detail was ironed out with quick email responses and phone calls when necessary. We didn’t have the luxury of time to do a tasting with Thyme before the wedding, but their attention to detail in communication with us left us with no worries that our experience would be top notch.

For our small wedding dinner, we chose to accompany a 5 course meal with hand selected wine pairings. Each course and its wine pairing came to the table like clockwork and looking like a dream on a plate. In addition, there were several guests with dietary restrictions, and the team navigated service effortlessly making sure each person had everything they needed. It’s now nearly two weeks after our wedding and we are still getting texts and calls about how amazing the food was!

The banquet lead, I believe her name was Sarah, even stopped by to share a special moment with us. Truly unforgettable and kind. The personal touch and amazing service gives us no choice to recommend them to anyone who asks.

My husband & I worked with Thyme for our wedding reception & I can tell you the food, service & professionalism of this team is incredible. Everyone who attended our wedding is still raving about their delicious meals, including us. Food was the #1 important thing for me at the wedding reception - I wanted people to have good food and plenty of it. Thyme helped me achieve that in a delicious way! I got SO many compliments on the food at our wedding. We originally had planned to do family style, but switched to plated when the pandemic hit, and Thyme smoothly rolled with this change and all others that came up. They accommodated our special requests, like having a Skyline chili inspired appetizer and mini hand pies to take away at the end of the night. The cake was especially a hit - several people told me it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. Everything was delicious, and the best part is I can relive the foodie experience by going to Thyme Table restaurant in Bay Village!

We cannot express enough how wonderful Mike, Amanda and the crew were for our wedding. My husband and I come from different cultures and we wanted to honor both cultures by a fusion wedding. We wanted both American and Indian cuisines, but we had difficulty finding caterers to accommodate to both; however, Mike did not have a problem with it at all and was happy to help us. He worked with us and we had such great communication throughout the months of planning. He and his team are efficient, have great ideas and the food is delicious. Our guests were so pleased with all the food, we heard from more than a handful of them it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding, all around. We highly recommend Thyme Catering!

Mike and Thyme Catering are amazing. I’m a professional event planner and have planned hundreds of events around the world - Mike is hands down the best vendor I’ve ever worked with! We hired Thyme for our wedding reception based on our first conversation with Mike. He’s nice, honest, and happy to make suggestions. Mike handled all of our rentals and made everything run so smooth during the event (even without a wedding coordinator onsite). We live on the West Coast and weren’t able to come for a tasting or walk through but he went above and beyond to help us while we planned every detail. The food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. He even matched the buffet to our color scheme and style which was a really unexpected surprise! He made a custom appetizer for us and really wanted us to love everything on the menu. Thank you Mike and team for making our day so special. I cannot recommend him enough! Hire him now!!

I really enjoyed working with the Thyme event team and chef for my wedding last July. Their professionalism, creativity and attention to detail truly put me at ease while planning our wedding.

We received so many compliments on the appetizers (holy heck, cheese spread), meal, and the delicious desserts. I got a few, "how the heck did you find these people?!", "your caterers are absolutely amazing" and, "best wedding meal ever". They were able to accommodate dietary restrictions, which was awesome - the vegans loved their food. I could not be more thankful for the serving staff weaving through the tightly packed tables to clear plates and the bartending staff. I wanted a specialty drink, "Blumberry Lemonade" and it was executed perfectly - seeing people enjoy them made me so happy!

Seriously, they did a wonderful job. The Italians were pleased, honestly, that's all I could ask for. Food is really important to me and I was so glad I didn't have to worry about food, the team had it covered! Highly recommend.

Mike and the team at Thyme Catering are (and were) a joy to work with. We have worked with them on multiple occasions and I couldn't imagine using someone else to cater our events. The presentation, taste, and quality of the foods prepared by Thyme are top of the line. Mike truly cares about not only what he is doing, but the person/couple he is working with. We had the Thyme of our lives at our wedding thanks to Thyme Catering and the Thyme Traveler! We were initially a little skeptical of having a food truck at the wedding, but Thyme proved how amazing it can be. The food was incredible and the portion sizes were super hearty. Logistically, it went off without a hitch (except for that one part where we got married) — they were able to serve people in groups and keep the line moving, so all 120 guests were served within an hourish (but we also had appetizers to hold them over). Later in the night, Thyme busted out the smores bar which was a total hit for a summer night.

We heard nothing but good things about the food, which is pretty rare for a wedding. Their team is an absolute pleasure to work with and completely transparent. I mostly-jokingly mentioned that it would be awesome to have Mountain Dew Baja Blast as a drink option, but it's hard to come by in bulk and Taco Bell wouldn't sponsor our wedding, so it wouldn't be doable. Well, the Thyme team presented me with a tall cup of ice cold Baja Blast just as the night was kicking off, and I will always remember that amazing gesture!

Where do we start? Like so many others who chose not to let the pandemic stop them, we had a Covid wedding. It was beautiful, perfect, breathtaking - ANYTHING and EVERYTHING we could've possibly imagined.

Andddd just like those many others we know can relate to our 2020 plans, we ran into a few hiccups...until we met Megan. Absolutely nothing could stop her from bringing our dream to life! She didn't ask us to sacrifice a single thing, though covid wanted us to ;), but instead, to share every detail that would make our day special. She literally made it happen and those little details meant so much.

We are so grateful to Mike for his amazing talent behind the 4 walls of our outdoor kitchen. The food was delicious, hot and packed with flavor! Our guests complimented us on the dinner for days following our wedding, but the one person who deserved to hear them, read them and know them, was Mike.

We would be remiss if we didn't mention the servers. Thyme is so lucky to have the most kind, courteous and attentive staff, we imagine...in the world! All of them! One in particular, Brennan, paid special attention to my grandmother, making sure he brought her dinner, dessert, coffee, and a few treats for the road. Hopefully, if he reads this, he will know how thankful we are.

One more thing...we did not have a videographer, but after our wedding, received a special gift from Megan - a beautiful video with beautiful music and filled with some of the most memorable clips from our special day. Sadly, Ryan's father passed away unexpectedly just two months after our wedding. Megan captured one of the last meaningful moments with Bob and Ryan watches this clip often.

Meeting Megan and Mike at this "Thyme" in our lives was for a reason and we feel blessed beyond measure.

Thyme catered our wedding and we were so happy with everything! We received so many compliments on our food from guests. The staff was friendly, helpful and the presentation was great. Everything went very smooth and according to plan- highly recommend them for a special event.

Luke, James and the entire team truly went above and beyond for our wedding yesterday. We weren’t the biggest budget or fanciest menu, yet you could tell they all love what they do and cared about our special day. Absolutely amazing to work with and would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone!

I went to a NYE party catered by Mike and the team at Thyme. UNBELIEVABLE! The presentation was one thing - I thought I had the wrong address and accidentally walked into a White House meet and greet - then, as any mid-20's man would do, I tried every single item on every single table. Not one disappointed. I'd say more, but that should do it for you. If it doesn't, you're the police. Thyme does it as good, if not, better than anybody in CLE!

Attended a friend’s wedding with them as the catering and they were so accommodating about my food allergies!! A lot of the options had things I was allergic to in it and they made sure I had plenty to eat!! A big thank you to the team!

Excellent catering company that catered my daughter's wedding. I highly recommend them 100%.
