The Rail - Strongsville

I love this place. I drove over an hour just to come here today for a nice relaxing afternoon alone. The house made tots were fantastic as always. (That's what I really come for ;)) the burger was also amazing.

Special shout out to Netta the bartender! I myself am a bartender and always appreciate exceptional service. She's great!!! Thanks Netta ❤

Absolutely love this place. The food is excellent. They had the best blood orange margaritas. Emma was the sweetest. The house tater tots are fantastic!

I'll start by saying I'm not a hamburger guy. Usually the art is wasted on me. However, this was the juiciest, most delicious burger 🍔
Also, the pepperoni flat bread is equally thin and crusty and cheesy and meaty. I devoured it so quickly that I could barely notice.
The wait staff was a little inattentive but it was Saturday afternoon.

The food was amazing! The burger was a bit sweet, besides that, it was super good! I order the Classic American Cheeseburger but with only bacon and cheese, nothing else! Make sure to remember ketchup if you like it though! Waiters were super nice! Experience is definitely worth it when your going to see family!

Our waitress Netta was absolutely amazing. She was the best waitress I can remember having on a very long time. She was attentive, and did not make us feel like our party of 10 was a burden, which can happen sometimes. She quickly brought anything that was asked for, and she was also very good with the 2 kids in our party. The food and atmosphere were good as always, but it was the service that truly stood out. I can’t stress enough how good Netta was.

Super Juicy Burgers with so much flavor. I went to The Rail to watch the Browns game. There were so many TVs.

Our server's name was Josh. He had the most outstanding personality and helped us with all our needs.

The burgers are pretty priced. I thought they would be a little bigger, but they weren’t too small. I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese. Although all Mac and chooses is delicious, I expected it to be better. It was fundamental.

The atmosphere was excellent. I appreciate good burgers with an old fashion.

Netta was an excellent server. Was fun, very professional, and got our orders perfect. She was really friendly, gave us great recommendations, and was very attentive and thoughtful for us. Would love to come back and see her again!

Stopped in to The Rail today for lunch. Our Server Emily was great was able to suggest and describe menu items in detail and was able to answer all my husband’s questions. This is was customer service should be and is a what most restaurants are missing. The food was fantastic and highly recommend stopping here for the best burger and a great selection of beer.

Why can't I give Netta more stars for service?
Great service (from a dining out perspective) but she also went above and beyond. Was more like dining with a friend. Casual conversation like we've known each other for years. I only down rated the Food and Atmosphere to really showcase the amazing Service.

Stayed in a hotel down the street, we came back three times. Cheeseburgers were a delight! We loved the blueberry basil lemonade and peach tea, we ended up getting the jug of blueberry basil cocktail- not a lot of alcohol in it but still yummy.

We had never been here before believe it or not. My husband was excited about the fried bologna sandwich and said even though it was good, the bologna needed to be thicker. He also got the tater tots (which are fantastic) and the pretzel bites. All 3 were off the happy hour menu. I got the Rail-Avore burger with a side salad. The burger had a nice grilled flavor and was delicious. I like that everything (or just about) is Ohio based and local. We will definitely go back!

Ordered the 7th Heaven Burger & Steak Fries online and food was done pretty fast! Food was still warm when I got home and super delicious! Love that they put the condiments on the side so burger would not be soggy when I got home. I came here because of everything being all Ohio based and the look of quality in their ingredients and was not disappointed! Burger Patties are huge, and the inside of the restaurant was a nice environment, will definitely have to eat in here one day soon.

Went here with a large party. We were sat immediately on a busy night and got appetizers and drinks super quick. I had the fried pickles, flatbread, and buffalo dip. Really impressed. The happy hour deals are very good and worth the price. Had a few drinks and they were phenomenal. There was a rush during our dinner and the young waitress with the blonde hair didn't miss a beat in taking care of our table with refills, drinks, boxes, etc.--even with how busy it was. Great place. Must-try.

Food was excellent!! Atmosphere was great. Server was rude and tacky!!!!!! We observed her treating all her tables like us. I understand it was New Years Eve, but if she didn't want to be there... she should have called off.

Shannon was fabulous! Very attentive and courteous! Very pleased with our encounter and celebration lunch! Really enjoyed our visit! Food was perfect and amazing! Friend was Gluten Free! Very easy to order and received a great meal!

Our server Netta was very respectful. She made sure we had everything we needed. Netta also loves to make conversations her customers with is very appreciative.

The place is amazing and we got are food supper fast. We also always got a good amount of attention and then people there were really nice. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for and we were able to watch the football game too.

Aidan our server was absolutely on point! We had a pretty large party and he took awesome care of us! Always checking up and cups were never empty! He was great to chat with and just all around a great server! Food was AMAZING! Milkshakes even better!

This experience happened about November or December of 2020, but I had a great experience. I meant to write this sooner, but I kept forgetting, better late than never though. Anyway my mom ordered the wrong food item, and while I'm sure it was good the Rail kindly gave us the correct order for free after we gave them a call. That burger and the food in general was very delicious. The food and the customer service is always good here. Anyone should try this place, you won't be disappointed.

My fiancé and I had such an amazing time tonight. We always love a good burger from here. Aidan was our server and he was fabulous. He is a perfect examples of what a good server looks like. He cared about our experience and made sure that everything was up to par. 10/10 for Aiden.
