Palisades South Park

Great place to relax, but with limited parking. This is a unknown and quiet park, with people exercising, walking their dogs, and neighbors just passing by. It is very empty and relaxing, with smaller trails along the cliffs to find privacy, if needed. This is a great part to take your dogs on a run or walk. I also see about 30 surfers out, as well, so a good surf spot. There are benches to watch the ocean, as well.

Free parking can be found when savvy. Come early and give yourself time to circle on weekends. Dogs ok on beach after 4pm or 6pm depending on time of year. Or before 9am for early birds. Approachable beginner waves to surf. Didn't find ocean too cold in a wetsuit in November. Golden hour is sensational just before sunset if you can swing it.

Very nice strip of grass on a hilltop overlooking the beach and ocean below. This is the perfect place to watch the sunset or to unwind and relax during the day.

AMAZING

Paradise here. San Diego has so many magical and amazing spots. This is a great perch above the cliffs looking down on the beach. People come to watch the sunset, bring a picnic, bring a yoga mat or do calisthenics, among other things. Lots of delicious food nearby to bring for your own picnic or gathering or do or individual sitting. This is an awesome spot for tickly at sunset or at night.

This is a great area. Filled with a variety variety of people walking along the path along the beach and people enjoying their time heading down to Mission Beach, walking in Pacific Beach and walking around this beautiful location. There are many restaurants and whatever you want on the streets nearby. This is a place to people-watch with high energy and generally a good day place to spend time.

Nice beach with restrooms. There are lifeguards in duty and waves are good for body boarding and surfing. Only thing I didn't like it is there are way too many sea weeds and parking could be hard to find.

This is another nice, little park in a neighborhood along the Pacific Ocean that’s easily accessible from the highway. Just outside downtown San Diego, on the way to LaJolla, it’s worth a stop. Plenty of onstreet parking and beautiful scenery!

Beautiful place to relax and watch sunset and surfers. Also there is evening Yoga classes with instructor.

Best place for relaxation, good vibes, and sunset views. Located at the southern end of the Mt. Soledad foothills, it overlooks the Tourmaline park to the north, and the crystal pier to the south. The area is a popular surf spot, so you can watch the surfers. Many ways to access the beach. From here you can see the curving coastline of beach condos, all the way to the foothills in the Ocean Beach neighborhood.

Absolutely fantastic! San Diego is filled with enchanting and extraordinary locations, and this spot is truly paradise. Positioned above the cliffs, it offers a great vantage point to observe the beach below, attracting people for sunset viewing, picnics, yoga, calisthenics, and more. There's an abundance of delicious food options nearby for picnics or individual enjoyment. This location is truly awesome, especially during sunset or at night.

A remarkable area! It's teeming with diverse individuals strolling along the beach path, enjoying their time heading to Mission Beach, walking in Pacific Beach, and exploring this beautiful locale. Numerous restaurants and amenities line the nearby streets, making it a vibrant place to people-watch and spend a generally delightful day. The energy is high, creating a fantastic atmosphere for spending time and soaking in the surroundings.

One of my favorite places in pb to soak in the ocean air, picnic, enjoy sunset, and most of all attend yoga classes with namastesteve. He's been teaching classes here for 10+ years. By *donation* and truly a treat. His classes are helping me strengthen, heal and find peace . Tues/Thurs 9am & Sat/Sunday 10am. Be sure to get there early for a spot weekends as these classes are very popular.

A great place for walking. The only complaint would be the restrictive San Diego policy regarding dogs.

love to sit here and just look out over the ocean and get grounded again. they say 20 mins around a body of water can change your mood and energy and well I believe, do you?

Beautiful sunsets, gorgeous backdrop for yoga. Don't do yoga? Watch the acrobatic yoga while relaxing. Perfect for pets and the waters just a few a few steps away. Bathrooms, ice cream sofas

Nice grassy overlook to the ocean. You can see Mexico on a clear day. Watch the waves break off PB Point into the surf park, all the way to pier. Relax, have a picnic.

Very chill and relaxing place to camp out on some grass overlooking the beach/ocean and watch the spectacular sunset. Or join in the sunset yoga if you're so inclined.

Such a calming place with not big crowds. Nice waking along the beach and up on the walkway by the inn.

A Must Visit, if you are nearby or passing through then this place will refresh & change your mood, great place to go & take some pictures to savour the special moments of life, sunset and sunrise are amazingly beautiful here, check it out.

A nice grassy overlook of the Pacific Ocean on the North part of Pacific Beach in San Diego. There are also public restrooms. Law Street Beach is below, a popular surfing area.
