We had my sisters bridal shower here this past weekend. Andy and his team made sure everything went smoothly from the planning to the actual day. The service , price , function space and food were all great (especially the scones ! ) I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who’s looking to host a party/function.

I would definitely recommend going here because their foods really good the workers are super nice and sometimes pretty funny. The decorations are cool and I really like how the lights look. They have a great salad bar and the bread is fantastic. If you want something amazing I would prefer the fish super tasty and delicious. I go here a decent amount of times a year and it’s pretty good. You should definitely go here.

This place is awesome very nice atmosphere, one hell of a salad bar, very very friendly staff and fantastic food. If you go there on your birthday your dinner is half price you can't be that.
Great place

Wow talk about a great place. First we had a reservation for 7:30 and 5 of the 8 of us were over 1 hour late. They sat the 3 of us and were completely attentive to the three of us. We order a few drinks and an appetizer while we waited. Once the rest of the party arrived we ordered our meals. Mind you 3 of the 8 of us were little kids and the wait staff worked with the kids so well to the older one the treated him like he was an adult and to the 2 younger o es they treated like they were the wait staffs own kids. It was my wife's Birthday and we had an amazing night it was as I said 8 of us 5 adults and 3 kids the adults had 3 or 4 rounds of drinks and I think everyone had some sort of Steak except the 2 little ones had chicken nuggets and the bill was just over $400. The atmosphere was great and the fireplace was beautiful and a great background for pictures. We had an amazing time and the staff was just great.

This place apparently went downhill for a while, but they're doing great now it seems. The salad bar was heaping with fresh veggies, and the bread and cheese bar, oh my. The bread had to have been made that day, it was so insanely fresh and soft. The crab stuffed mushrooms were perfect, with fresh crab and piping hot cheese.

Wr had our parents 50th Anniversary dinner there last night. We had 22 people. From my first call to book the room the staff were amazing!! Andy was very nice and patient with us. My sister added on appetizers 2 days before and he was very nice about it. Our waitress was as sweet as could be! I wish I got her name because she was amazing. Everyone loved the food. We did open menu and it worked out great. Thanks to Andy and staff for making a great night for our parents.

Had a really lovely 70th birthday dinner for my aunt this evening! I hadn’t been in some time and the food is just as good as I remember. Our server was so sweet and attentive to our large party. Thank you for giving us a great experience!

I no longer live in the region, but I still have many fond memories of evenings at The Hardcover Restaurant. I truly miss this restaurant. The dark delicious atmosphere with bright white table cloths, the fire place glow, the delicious steaks, the salad bar with fresh crisp greens and a huge cheese wheel from which I would always shave slivers or chunks of cheese live in my memory. I (we) had many dinners there during 3 months in temporary corporate housing while seeking more permanent housing (with 3 cats!) following a cross country corporate move.

Very cozy place... has a great old-timey feel to it. Staff was super friendly and had great recommendations. Food selections were excellent, from the chowder, salad bar, entrees, and dessert. As a group, we had a steak, beef wellington, and crab-stuffed haddock as entrees. Everything was delicious! Desserts were also fantastic. Overall had a great experience!

Very high quality restaurant. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. This is the type of restaurant where you'd buy a bottle of wine and spend a couple hours enjoying the night. The French onion soup was remarkable. My beef Wellington was also unique and delicious especially with their demi-glace. Prices are fair for what you are getting, definitely worth it. Give this restaurant a try.

We went to celebrate my sons birthday, everything was delicious.. especially the beef Wellington. The hostess Michelle was exactly what every restaurant needs! She stopped us on the way out to take a family picture..

Ambience is a plus but we were there for food, beverage, and getting together with longtime friends. The whole table was well satisfied with drinks and food. Staff is a unified team. We had a very good night out.

This place is amazing!! The inside is kind of old fashioned. They have a sunken part you can sit in comfy chairs in front of the fireplace. The food is exceptional, but bring your credit card, it ain't cheap, but totally worth it!!

Wonderful evening celebrating our 41st anniversary. Service was great. There was a slight hiccup when another server thought he would 'expedite' our leisurely meal. Our actual server stepped in and got things back to an even keel. We were waiting on some clams casino to be served and eaten, before we attempted the salad bar. Our wait didn't disappoint! The clams were delicious and piping hot! The salad bar was pretty much as it had been pre-pandemic - which tugged at my heartstrings! Our entrees came as ordered prime rib and teriyaki steak - delicious. Last but by no means least we were presented with a candle lit piece of cake to celebrate the evening!

This restaurant oozes old world charm to a refreshing degree. The service is the perfect level of attention and insight from employees that genuinely care about your experience. We had a table right next to a warm fireplace in an atmosphere we could still maintain a family conversation. The kids menu was over the top but the adult drinks were even better. Please please try the Keoke Coffee after dinner. It will change your life. Also it has a salad bar!

Wonderful place and wonderful wait staff! Scarlett was our waitress and she was extremely sweet and attentive. We were out celebrating my mother because she finished radiation for breast cancer, and my dad let that slip in the beginning and she brought us a dessert to celebrate my mom! Brought tears to our eyes. Absolutely wonderful experience.

Beautiful place. We went on Valentine's Day. Got stuck in somewhat of a corner near a door so it was a bit chilly but otherwise everything was good.

Excellent food, very impressed with the salad bar. Nice and clean. Good service. Reasonably priced
