Big Y World Class Market

I love the Big Y! This store is clean, organized and friendly. They have these Dinner meals you toss in the oven and in minutes you have a delicious dinner. Their rotisserie chicken could be better but from the bakery to the fish counter everything is great.

I have been shopping at the Saugus Big Y since it replaced Hannaford but just moved to West Peabody. I visited the West Peabody Big Y for the first time yesterday. While I have always been pleased with Big Y's selection and prices, I was impressed by the store's size and found my shopping experience quite enjoyable. It was easy to maintain social distancing and the employees were helpful and pleasant.
There are a few things my wife buys at Whole Foods, but Big Y is our grocery store. We do our weekly shopping there and because it's close by, we are there for something almost daily.
Big Y is a large, modern grocery store with a hometown feel. I like that the employees remember me and I them. We're neighbors.

Not only have I worked here and everyone was amazing, since they've renovated, they have become a top-notch grocery store.

To be honest, the style previously didn't really match the big y feel so I'm glad they did such a good job. Great food. Good prices. Good people.

Love this Big Y! It is clean, well stocked, organized. The carts aren't left by everyone's cars like everywhere else I go. I find the produce quite good and a fair amount of variety. This beats Market Basket and Whole Foods in my opinion.

Prices are good. Great for a quick trip

Excellent market with a great layout. Silver rewards program is a no brainer. The staff are all extremely friendly and the atmosphere of the store is inviting. Lighting is nice, not too bright or dim. Products are fresh and well presented. Floors are clean and aisles are clear. Other customers are reasonable and respectful. Would definitely shop here regularly.

I am very impressed with the level of customer service I have received from all the staff but especially Jamie at the Deli. He is world class and I hope Big Y recognizes how exceptionally hard he works to accomodate customers. I have been on a quest for organic or at least small farm or local blue cheese that isn't mass produced (a chunk, not crumbles) and he has been helping me with that. The store still doesn't have it but he has been very friendly and professional with letting me know when and if it will be in stock.

Great medium sized Market (to me).... I mostly eat just about as healthy as I can, and I think their offerings are comparativly priced...... So I get pretty much everything. I need in 1 trip- great!! 😁

Love coming here on a weekday morning. It's so quiet and peaceful. And the staff is super nice and friendly. Also great selection. A tad more expensive than market basket but the peace and quiet makes it worth it! And the big y card definitely helps! Love you guys!

Unfortunately I don't live close to Big Y, but I had an appointment in Peabody close by and stopped in.

Wow! The store is clean, well stocked and had a variety of prepared food. Very impressed. I will make a point of shopping here again.

Went to this Big Y,Peabody,up the street from my doctor's office,liked the closed one in Saugus,Y has great quiche lorraine pies.Service people are nice,had to ask where a lot stuff was and they very accommodating..Y in strip mall with CVS,where I got my COVID shots,Italian and Chinese hole in the wall type restaurants..nice

Even before COVID and during the pandemic, Big Y - West Peabody has gone the extra mile to accommodate my needs. My mother can't eat solid food, she's 93, and Big Y employees and management have been so nice special ordering large amounts of Baby Food to help me in my situation to feed my mom even sometimes keeping extra on hand in the office in case I ran out! She is now mostly on special medical food, but I still get the Yogurt and Boost for her there. They are always asking how my mother is doing, showing a genuine concern. These people really care about their customers, I see it in their attitude to all customers. I even met the owners one time during a store visit. You could see the owners really care about their employees and instill that same care from the employee to the customer. Great store, Thank you.
