Othello Station Pharmacy

My situation may be a bit unique, I am traveling to Asia next week and forgot to get prescriptions from my regular doctor for Malaria pills and the Typhoid vaccine. I was scrambling trying to find all the resources I could. My normal hospital could not see me, another hospital could but the 30 min consult is $200, there's one in Sand Point that's $70 for consult (I live in Auburn so that's a commitment), and there's a Safeway Pharmacy in Olympia that travel consults (not sure on cost, too far away).

Using King County's public health site I was able to locate Costco and Othello Station Pharmacy. Costco charges $50 for the consult and it's an online thing, however I'm not a Costco member. Othello Station Pharmacy looked intriguing, so I called in. The staff member was super helpful and let me know there's no consulting fee, prescriptions can happen same day via walk in, and they have both Malaria pills and the Typhoid vaccine in stock (oral and injected). Score!

I went there the next morning and within 20 minutes walked out with both items in hand. Everyone was friendly and the pharmacy is clean (albeit small) and has free parking in the Othello Station parking garage (for 2 hours). Couldn't have been easier, I'll definitely be coming back!

The pharmacist and general staff are always very helpful, they are responsive and ALWAYS answer their phone, unlike many other pharmacies I’ve used. I’m so glad I switched to this pharmacy, and their willingness to order anything they don’t usually require in stock (or may be out of) that I have begun to bring my pets scripts there too. Their hours make pick-up after a 9-5 work day, really easy!

Will never go back to big box pharmacy. They're so friendly and knowledgeable. Love supporting local too.

I have recommended Othello Station Pharmacy to my friends who are dealing with all the Bartell and Rite Aid closures. The owners and employees here are wonderful, and the meds I take are always in stock, and I rarely have to wait more than five minutes in line. This is what the pharmacy experience should be. I hope they continue to expand and fill the void left behind by Bartell and Rite Aid. They are just a minutes walk from Othello Station and have an underground parking garage for those who need to drive.

They took less than twenty minutes to fill three different prescriptions, which is pretty standard for them. And, they are always so kind, attentive, and efficient while helping me.

This pharmacy CARES about doing business the right way. The staff does a fantastic job at communicating with their customers and proactively offering solutions to the complex web of insurance and medication fulfillment. They were able to get me my medication promptly (a medication all other pharmacies said would be several weeks late) and saved me several hundred dollars with my insurance in fulfilling it. Can’t say enough good things- they will be my and my families pharmacy for life!

This place is great! Free one hour parking in the garage, quick and very friendly service. I switched from a large chain pharmacy to this local one and I'm _very_ happy with the decision.

This is my neighborhood pharmacy. There was a misunderstanding at first but they are very professional and I like the way they do business. They even bargain with me to get a lower price on one of my medications when I told him I can get it somewhere else cheaper. I've never had a pharmacy do that for my business.

Genuinely the nicest and most helpful people, I have never had anything short of a incredible experience here.

I have been here twice to have prescriptions filled. I work on guest service. I never take the opportunity to write reviews. This location has earned and deserves my time. Too often these places only hear of the bad, There is none of that there This facility is clean, it is well stocked. And most importantly the staff are wonderful. You can tell when someone takes ownership and pride in their work. This team does. I told the owner that they make me happy to spend money in my neighborhood. Thank you Othello Station Pharmacy

Customer service is fantastic, I'm so glad I switched over from a chain store pharmacy. The chain stores may have more hours that they are open but that's it. Othello Station pharmacy is much friendlier and gives you that local neighborhood kind of service. I called them to inquire about the status of a new prescription and they let me know I have options for the size of tube I want, which was important because my insurance wasn't going to cover this medicine. I really appreciate them communicating that to me. The pharmacy is very clean and has all the essential first aid, nutritional supplements, and personal care items available as well as locally made soaps. Parking is easy in the building and free as well. Plus it's right by the Othello light rail station for easy transit access. I can't say enough good things about them.

Highly recommend this pharmacy. I have an elderly parent who normally gets her chemo meds through another pharmacy but their manufacturer has been on back order. I was in town helping her after a hospital stay and needed these meds for her. I called and talked to Abdi who was so helpful. He called around called back and said he could have them the following day. He matched the price of her other pharmacy and even arranged a free delivery. My mom was extremely appreciative and had even recommended them to her neighbor. Thank you so much Abdi.

I love this pharmacy! As others have stated, the staff are so friendly and helpful, also know us by name within a few visits. It is so refreshing to have a more personal experience and sense that they truly care about the customer, getting the prescriptions we need in a timely manner, and at reasonable cost. I definitely recommend this pharmacy. I noticed the drop box for unused medications and I’m going to take advantage of that next time I’m in. Traveled from Kirkland to Othello Station pharmacy because we heard (from my daughter) they were so good and we want to support a locally owned pharmacy. GREAT service with a smile, incredibly warm and helpful. I will go out of my way to give them our business in the future. THIS is how pharmacies should operate.

Pharmacy staff worked with our nursing home and assisted living to get our residents their COVID-19 vaccines. The staff are professional, friendly, flexible, and community-service oriented! We also referred our employees to get their COVID-19 vaccines at their storefront location, and got nothing but rave reviews about their speed and service. Excellent all-around!

Super kind people and adorable store! I talked to two people when I was on a trip to Seattle, originally confused about where the darn train station was and they told me exactly where it was and the options, and even offered to break my 20 into change! Smiles the whole time! I also needed some allergy medicine and the guy I was talking to knew exactly where everything was and helped me pick a good one for me, even shared a few things about the medicine I didn't know. Must say, the prices were great too! One more amenity I noticed was the old medicine drop off for safe disposal. Super convenient for people who need to safely dispose of medications, not always easy to find a safe drop spot either (at least where I'm from). It was a quick interaction but it sure reminded me that a little kindness goes a long way, totally brightened up my day! Thanks guys!

I’ve never seen a genuine group of people that care & go above & beyond! Automatic refills, delivery, immunization! One stop shop for all our personal needs & no long lines. I love having Othello station pharmacy as my pharmacy! 10/10

UPDATE: I moved 30 minutes away from this location, and after trying 2 different pharmacies near my new house, I've switched back to Othello Station Pharmacy because the long drive into Seattle is less of a headache than dealing with other pharmacies.

SO MUCH BETTER than going to Walgreen's or Bartell's. They are so nice and accommodating, they will make sure you are well taken care of. I'm sadly moving farther away from their location soon, and I'm seriously considering making the 20 minute drive so that I don't need to change pharmacies.

I love this neighborhood pharmacy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and do whatever they can to help you figure out things with your insurance. I highly recommend them for a much more personal experience than Walgreens or the other big drugstores, and hardly ever a wait.
