Met up with a few teammates from the late 70's SU Chieftain Soccer Team.(Now Redhawks)
We were all jealous and very proud at the same time of this facility. Great natural grass playing surface! Just outstanding. Fans in a well kept covered bleacher area, and the covered bench area for the Teams were unheard of in our playing days.
We remember the mud and rocks on the 80 yard long Broadway play field, we all wear the scars from the crushed brick surface at the original Fort Dent Stadium. Championship Field is a dream come true.

I worked at the SU grounds department for almost two years, and I can definitively say that this field is magnificent. Maintained by dedicated professionals, the turf is pristine. The field is partially organic and free of pesticide use. National teams for multiple countries have practiced here because of its obvious quality. Even though the complex is small (only seating around 2000), it has a nice feel with downtown Seattle as its backdrop.

Seattle University's beautiful men's and women's soccer field. Gorgeous, well kept, washrooms are very clean.

Perfect place to practice football ⚽. Adults and kids alike can enjoy these well kept facilities.
