The atmosphere and aesthetic were so soothing and calming. My questions were definitely attended to. Even a girl off shift was so willing to be helpful to what we might want or want to try. The service there was great and meaningful to conversations and services. First time there since I saw this place recommended on social media. I got the S’mores Mocha, very delicious and refreshing taste of coffee. I’d definitely come back.

The highlight of the catering was the Ethiopian Coffee ceremony, which was not only delicious but also a fascinating display of Ethiopian social customs. Solomon and his staff expertly showcased the ceremony, adding a unique cultural touch to the gathering. The aroma and taste of the coffee were exceptional, and it left everyone in awe.

So cute! Small place a few benches to sit indoors and a few tables and chairs out front to enjoy the weather.

Had the tiramisu mocha so tasty and the blueberry coffee cake- fluffy and delicious.

Avole's coffee is undeniably one of the best I've had in my life. However, if you're not a coffee connoisseur, they also offer a handful of juices and smoothies. Unsure what to get? Here are some items I would recommend: an americano, latte (inquire about syrups, dairy-free milk options are also available), or the rainier. If you have time and if its available, try the jebena with a friend. I've also had the most rewarding conversations with neighbors within the community here and that is another reason why I love this place so much: connection and community.

In the future, I think it would be awesome to possibly collaborate with more local artists to create more merch.

Super chill and cozy spot! I came here on a whim before a HIIT class nearby. I got an iced oat chai latte. The baristas were kind and lowkey, which is all I could handle on a Sunday morning lol. I’ll definitely be back!

My friend recommended this to me while visiting them up in Seattle.

It’s location is a huge plus to it! There were lots of new apartments and store fronts going up around it, and it is a short walk from both Capitol Hill and First Hill. It’s also near a main road, but not right on it so that it is still quiet while having lots of customers.

The storefront is also very well set up- it has large floor to ceiling windows that light up the whole store front. The decor is also modern and not too busy. There is store specific merch for sale in a conveniently placed location too, so while waiting for your drink, you’ll definitely be looking. The drink prep area is also very clean and well laid out.

There was only one staff member at the time (around 10AM on a Sunday morning) and there should have been more staff for sure (a larger group came just as I was leaving). The staff member did not seem stressed by the lack of coworkers, was laid back, and knowledgeable when I asked questions.

The menu isn’t too large, which is nice, since you know that what they offer they do well in and don’t need to offer a million different items that are okay. I like to ask staff what they would recommend. I tried an iced sweet macchiato and it was delicious! The flavoring in it definitely didn’t taste cheap and it also was subtly sweet. The espresso was very smooth as well.

If I was a local, I would definitely give this place a try next time I’m on a walk out in the neighborhoods.

In South Seattle Ethio Avole coffee shop and their coffee is a true testament to that☕. They specialise, hand-roasted coffee and it was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve tasted, it was so fresh and aromatics.They're so Friendly

The coffee, the food, the art and the people make this my favorite coffee shop and place for lunch treats in the neighborhood. Everyone is so kind who works here and it makes the atmosphere so friendly and warm. It’s not fast food- the food is delicious fresh and made to order! There is also a cute little garden spot to sit outside - you don’t feel like you’re on a major thoroughfare.

Wonderful service, delicious food, great coffee. So great to find such a welcoming place! It has a nice blend of Ethiopian culture, an urban feel, and a mix of Ethiopian and cafe style food. Their coffee is delicious! There are many other great Ethiopian places in the area, but this one is distinctive.

They understand that good coffee needs to be freshly roasted in house, and brewed right away. Excellent cup every time. The Avole omelette is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the service is as timely as it gets for a deliberately hand-crafted meal. If you're​ in a hurry or expect super fast service, call ahead and place your order, or come back when you have more time to enjoy it.
