Roanoke Family Medicine

Recently returned to Roanoke, Dr. Ball was my physician before our move. I contacted office to be established for PCP for both myself and my husband. While Dr Ball is booked up they scheduled us with his partner Dennis who was very nice. He took time, answered all the questions was very helpful. Staff were nice there was some scheduling issues at first but they did correct them. Like everyone at this time they have staffing issues and they are doing the best they can.

I called to set up an appointment and happened to see the google score when I was looking up the phone number and was shocked that it was sitting at a 3.8!!! I have been seeing Denis for several years and he has been nothing short of stellar. He listens to me, helps me and I feel I can truly open up to him about how I am feeling. I don't feel like a number when I see him but truthfully I feel like Im talking to a friend. The office staff is great , very warm and inviting and I have never had an issue and have been able to schedule timely appointments. The Medical assistance are top notch and very thorough and reflect the overall family care theme this practice offers. In general I just want to give a big thank you to everyone at Roanoke family medicine especially now during the covid world we are living in. They ALL deserve it!!!

I've been going to Roanoke Family Medicine for many years now. Dr. Youngblood was the best. I started seeing Hannah after Dr. Youngblood retired. I love her. She is so nice. I really like her. The people at the front desk are really nice. Even though that are short staffed in the receptionist area they do the best they can.

Dr. Duncan is the best doctor. He truly cares about his patients. He takes time to explain everything. And by the way everyone calls him Dennis.
About the people at the front desk, well they need to have better trained people.
They can't seem to get anything right.

One of the few private practices left in the valley. Highly recommend being a patient at an establishment that is independent and can be thoughtful about your health. No corporation is dictating their decision making for what course is best for you.

My family has been seeing Dr. Ball and Dennis Duncan for about 10 years now. Dr. Ball played a huge part in the fact that my Mama is still alive. He had an idea that something simple was causing her issues. He took his cellphone out and personally called a friend of his (whom is an expert in this field) and set it up to send Mama the next day! Dennis sees my son (14), daughter (9) and myself. I've never had issues getting sick appointments and I have his personal cell phone number in the event that I have an emergency. I'd give them 20 stars if I could. I'm so glad to have my family out of the Carilion network of money hungry doctors and zero personal care.

I have been a patient of Dr. William Ball's for 30 years now. He is an excellent, very caring Doctor. He goes over and beyond any other Doctor I have seen in my 50 year lifetime. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for medical care. Fantastic staff!!

My whole family see’s Dennis and most of my friends as well. He is a wonderful provider and the whole staff are so friendly and helpful. Never had any issues. I highly recommend this practice.

Dennis Duncan is the best! Glad I found him. Not many doctors care to listen these days but he is all ears. Great bedside manner!

The Dr. Duncan truly cares about his patient's and listens too. Highly recommend him to anyone for your health care provider.
