Hernando Endoscopy & Surgery Center

Just had my first experience with HES and I couldn't be more satisfied. Dee & Renee were awesome and Karoline took great care of me. It's nice to know such a professional and friendly facility is so close to home.

Excellent experience all around. The staff are friendly and efficient. The nurses are professional, competent, kind and compassionate. Dr J. Jachimovicz did an excellent job with a shorter surgery time than I expected.
I had cataract removal with lens implant in less than three hours from the time I signed in to the time I walked out the door.
As I was writing this review I was interrupted by a phone call from the center to check how I was doing post-operatively, and wether I was satisfied with the care. I would highly recommend this surgical center without any reservation.

Absolutely fantastic surgical team. Dr Packey is great and very thorough. The nurse that hooked me up to the IV was so nice and sweet. She also made sure I was comfortable, gave me a warm blanket and was very personable. Sue was awesome too! I knew I was in good hands with the nurses and the doctor. Vito the anesthesiologist was funny.

I had cataracts surgery both eyes (2 appts a week apart). Awesome! Dr. Jachimowicz did my procedures with assistance from the great staff including Dee, Kim, Kevin, Elizabeth, Dr. Chang and a couple of more I can't remember their names. Made me feel very comfortable and it was over before I knew it. Most importantly, I can see clearly again!!! Thank you!

I have had several outpatient procedures done here with 3 different specialists. I must say their cleanliness, their professionalism and their supportive and caring staff will always make them my outpatient surgery center of choice. Being in the medical field, I have recommended this facility with a clear conscience, from own satisfied experiences.

I had eye surgery and a colonoscopy at HESC. The staff, anesthesiology all were excellent. High quality care, professional and truly exhibits an atmosphere where as the patient you feel comfortable and at ease. Extraordinary customer service. The BEST surgery center to have any procedure. I had surgery here ( twice)& couldn't received better care! Patient care is amazing and the staff is amazing, caring and empathetic and of course Dr. Baker. I had my first surgery on 1/22/2021 and it went great, so I came back for a second one om 3/19/2021. Staff was great!!!!!Thank you

Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable staff from registration, clinical, anesthesiologists and Dr. Packey!
Excellent process where you have your doctors visit, then scheduled for procedure where Dr. Packey’s only focus is on his scheduled patients that day!!
Can’t say enough about the nursing staff once you’re getting prepped then rolled into procedure room, then ready for discharge!

I recently had a procedure at HESC and was extremely happy with the check in process - both outside and inside, Caroline and the other nurses were superb - no bruise from my IV, and Dr. Kanuri is the best! You are all 5 stars!!

My experience was wonderful. Everything from the staff before and after care to the cleanliness of the office was top notch. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Hernando Endoscopy and Surgery to anyone that needs to have a procedure done.

I had orthroscopic knee surgery here on 9/9/2016. It was suppose to be an easy meniscus repair but became a microfracture repair instead. I am a surgical RN from California and have been to a lot of surgery centers. This place was top notch. My entire stay was wonderful because the nursing staff is top notch! My IV was quickly and painlessly started. My nurse anesthetist was fantastic and spoke to me in length as well as transported me into the OR. The OR staff was friendly and kept me at ease until I was put under. My recovery was quick, my pain needs taken care of and my husband quickly brought in so I wasn't alone. The entire staff from two day before surgery pre admission to release were friendly and helpful. And my Ortho, Dr. Moynihan did a super job. Great experience!

Caring service from everyone who attended to my pretreatment and those who performed my colonoscopy and endoscopy. I was happy to see the amount of effort to insure cleanliness between patient bedding changes. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Not the most pleasant of procedures in terms of preparation. But the staff was excellent starting with the pre-arrival instructions for registration for the pre-procedure consult to the discharge at the completion of the event. Courteous, professional, friendly and empathetic.

HESC is the best ! You couldn’t ask for a better facility for outpatient surgeries. Extremely organized, professional & caring . Been going to HESC for years & had Never had a bad experience.... all the nurses & doctors are exceptional at what they do . Would highly recommend HESC !

I had foot surgery on March 12. The intake was a breeze, the nurses were amazing and the entire procedure was painless.

Well organized and efficient staff and I actually felt safer getting procedures done here over any hospital in our area.
