I had no problems with this store, they had everything I needed. Friendly service

Store #21730 on Cortez in B'ville, had it's doors wide open, gotta feel like 100 degree day! Ms. Carolyn greeted me with a big smile but a sweaty brow, NO AIR CONDITIONING. I thought if she can work today, I can shop today. But the heat got to me, I headed for the check out. Ms Carolyn cheerfully asked, "Did I find everything I needed today ?" I replied, actually I couldn't find scissors! She said, "they are in stationery, you wait right here and I'll go a pair for you". Ms. Carolyn was a helpful older sweetheart. I doubt today's younger clerk would even ask a question, let alone go out of their way to grab an item for me in my late 60s!

I hope Dollar General recognizes what a dedicated employee they have and it was my pleasure to be talking a bit with a good hearted neighbor helping me get an item I really needed. Hope that A/C is fixed soon!

Everyone was pleasant and caring. They weren't afraid to have a conversation past hi or welcome. They showed they have hearts and receptivity to what the customer has to say. I felt welcome, appreciated and wished well. Thank you.

Every time I shop here I easily find everything I want and more. The customer service here is always pleasant and helpful. Very nice spot for this store since I frequently do other shopping in this same Center. My favorite quick store!

Can't say enough good things about this Dollar General. It's well laid out, sufficiently stocked and has great, friendly associates. I went to two department stores and two outlets and could not find mens' XXL t-shirts - DG had them. Thank you!

Always get my staples - you know my weekly and monthly items like paper products, why pay more for good value. For instance DG brand auto lubricant with rust inhibitor. This item is great for cleaning and protecting wiring, wired connections, circuit boards and breaking corroded connections $2. Compare to PB Blaster w/silicone $4 +.

I have shoped this store approximately 4 yrs and find the store employees are very helpful in all aspects and by frequent shopping i have the nickname as Mr Butterscotch I try to shop this local store as often as possible, if I cannot find the items I need I akk the clerk to have the manager order the items and they notify me if they are delivered, store is a pleasure to shop.

Great place, they always have good deals and services. Itd a nice environment and they always have good customer service with people who truly know what they are doing. It's always a pleasure to come here. Keep up the good work!

I love this specific store. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help! Depending on what you want to buy, prices are good. Some items are cheaper at Walmart, just depends on what you want and the convince of going to just one store....

My favorite store. Very friendly staff. You can find most anything from clothing to an assortment of food. The prices are less on most products than Walmart. Great quality.

After the remodel, I keep getting lost in the store and can't find anything. I'm sure that will pass and I'll go back to liking the store.

Nice Dollar General.

Ally was very helpful trying to send money western union. She spent about an hour of her time on the phone to them. In the end it still didn't go through.

Small, but has just as much as larger locations. Staff nice. Sometimes can have a little bit of wait during checkout

Very lovely store. Lori is the most helpful and friendly manager I have met shopping in the store. Very clean and organized store. Love shopping here.

Workers are friendly, helpful and speak to you and welcome you to the store. Prices are great, I do a lot of shopping there.

I called ahead and went online but when I called ahead they had my order ready for me at the register when I walked in that is so wonderful!

I'm a price watcher . Dollar Genral is the best place to get taxable items. I find everything I need at the best prices. The help is awesome.
