4 Rivers Smokehouse

I have been eating at 4 Rivers ever since they started in Winter Park Florida. I was also in Orlando when they started branching out.
I’m visiting Tallahassee Florida and I came across one. I had to stop to eat and see if it has the same feeling as it does in Orlando.
And it does. The food was fantastic the service was quick. Tables,floors, bathrooms, everything was clean.
My brisket sandwich with its BBQ sauce was to die for. The sides I got were also delicious just as I expected. (You can never go wrong with the sweet potato casserole) and always try the smoked jalapeño.
One of my favorite things is the sink near the drink counter. You can was your hands before and after you eat without having to look for the bathroom. This is great when it comes to have to clean the kids hands after they get done eating.

I recently dined at Four Rivers Smokehouse and had a fantastic experience! The brisket and pulled pork were incredibly flavorful, and my wife loved her brisket with Mac and cheese. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others!

I think I found my favorite place to eat here on Tally, the Brisket Burger definitely delicious, I could spend here eating every day three times a day. The smoked chicken my wife ordered was also delicious. I definitely liked the food and we definitely have to go back to try the different options that the Menu offers.
The people were nice and they help me out to choose my order.

Update.. better after 3 years. Had the puked chic and pork. Sweet potatoes and bread pudding was great. The better and cook Michael was friendly and absolutely a great representation. Decided to return stay 3 years and happy I did. Comparison and the photos says it all. WTG.

Before..i was not satisfied with 4 Herd deal..over priced and will not feed four adults. Wish I was warned that cornbread has peppers. Website was down so I couldn't see pictures. Wasn't the birthday layout I expected 😔

I really love this BBQ restaurant. This is THE place to go for BBQ in the area. They have excellent service and atmosphere, everything is fresh, a professional and courteous staff, an outstanding selection of meats and meals, and their smoked brisket is top notch - I ate one pound in 20
minutes during my last visit it was so good!

I got the Mac Attack off the inflation menu and was worried about the portion size(it is an inflation menu), but was pleasantly surprised to get a large serving! My buddy got the Pulled pork sandwich with fried Okra and Mac and cheese, along with a Reese’s cookie. I personally prefer 4 Rivers to Mission BBQ and really like their hot BBQ sauce! The cookie was enormous and super rich! Good food, decent prices, and a pretty good atmosphere. The key lime pie bar is great too!

I came to Tallahassee for my son’s bowling tournament, seen it driving by had to try it out. I was excited that we did stop. The food was amazing. The people are nice and few, and atmosphere was pleasant.

I got the chicken tenders and max and cheese combo, while it was a bit expensive for 3 chicken tenders. It is executed very well. If you’re an FSU student looking to escape the dining hall food for a bit, give this place a try.

I ended up with the "Longhorn" and the green beans and corn sides. My wife had the new Chicken Chipotle Burrito. The long horn was awesome, just added a little sauce to each bite. The misses said her chicken was a little rubbery, like it sat out for too long. Other than that the flavors of the burrito were great!

Awesome BBQ. Choose 2 meats and 3 sides and a drink. Reasonable prices friendly service and everything was neat and clean. Inside and outside dining. An update on the food we had .
1st was bbq ribs and bbq chicken mac n cheese and baked beans. 2nd was bbq pulled pork and bbq brisket mac n cheese corn and veggie mix. And did i mention everything was delicious.
You wont go away hungry.

Been here twice with quite some time in between the visits.

Both times were wonderful! Haven't found anything on the menu that needed questioning. The employees seem to enjoy their job, says something about management or the owners!

The interior is welcoming and clean, as well as the restrooms.

Came in on a slow day. Staff was very helpful and polite. Very positive attitude and atmosphere. Spoke with the Manager Rob over a very minuscule issue. He went above and beyond. Food was delicious. We will absolutely be returning. This chain lucky to have Rob and the staff he manages.

Food was absolutely incredible. I got the Burnt Ends Melt with Mac and Sweet Potato Casserole. All very reasonably priced.

Service was very friendly and the dining area is spacious and clean.

Will be a regular!

Overall, the food is good. Quality food and well prepared. This is a nice restaurant. All of their barbeque sauces seem to be mustard-based, though, which isn't my preference, but that's just me. But aside from that, the food and the place are good and the prices are reasonable. The Bayou Bars are excellent.

I have 1 start for atmospheres be cause I ordered curbside pick up. Food was amazing! The flavor of the brisket was the best part of the meal, moist and tender. I had Mac n cheese and okra and pulled pork as well. I'd post a picture but I ate it all!

A casual counter serve bbq establishment located just outside of midtown in tallahassee. The food is filling and tasted pretty good. While I have had better bbq elsewhere, but not in the tallahassee area! Rhe mustard based bbq sauce option is delicious. Ordered the destroyer (brisket, onion ring, cheese, jalapeños, Brioche bun). The fried okra was hot, the mac and cheese was disappointing, the baked beans were a overcooked but the sauce was okay. The sandwhich and the brisket was good. The sweet tea was delicious, not overly sweet. The seating is communal tables. Overall it is okay, would order the sandwhich but not the sides.

Update 9/3/22: ordered takeout and got the messy pig with sweet potato casserole and smoke jalapeños. Delicious! The take out window is outside. I could not use the giftcards to pre-order online, but ordering at the window took about 20 minutes for three sandwiches with two sides each.

Food was delicious. Best sliced turkey I've ever had! Love the smoke house corn, worth the extra .79. Kinda hot in the dining area, but hey, it is 97° outside!

Still in.my opinion the best BBQ around. The sides are just wonderful and the atmosphere is really nice. Food can't say enough about always consistent in flavor and quality and the management is spot on. The staff always friendly even during the busier times. Keep it up 4 Rivers.

This is my favorite restaurant in Tallahassee. If you're a fan of the best smoked BBQ around, I'd hit up 4 Rivers Smokehouse for quality brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken, sausage, all the good stuff! Their sides are immaculate and the service is quality!!

One of the best BBQ spots in Florida! They have multiple locations all across the sunshine state and I am always sure to stop by whenever I’m near one! Highly recommend the burnt end melt!!
