Hilltop Red Apple

My wife and I shop here on the regular. We pretty much know all the employees here. Everyone here pretty much knows us because we're regulars. All the employees are really good people and are like family with one another. My wife and I love this place. It's better than shopping at corporate stores like Safeway. Your supporting local businesses and they treat you like family here.

I've visited this market several times. Such a well stocked store with a wide variety of products. My favorite is the hot food section which has some of the best food I've ever bought. Greens, peach cobbler, fried fish, fried chicken etc also they have a section where you can buy various Chinese dishes which are equally delicious.

Love the Chinese food daily special from. The deli.....10.99 for your choice of fried rice or chowmein and 2 mains....i always get the orange chicken and the general tso chicken. Very good....besides that it's just your run of the mill grocery store with moderately decent prices....haven't done a whole lot of shopping there, usually just go for the Chinese food.....

Just go there. You'll like it. Neat selection of goodies, and the staff are incredibly NICE too. Plenty of parking. On the bus and Rail Route.

09/2022. Hey kids. I've got a brand-new update for you, and you're going to luv it. Behold the gentleman with the blue gloves and standing over various cuts of meat. That folks is Mr. Kenny Wilson. One of the excellent butchers working at the Hill Top Red Apple Store. What you may not know, is that he is the 'Yoda' for making small batch, non weird chemical sausage items. His specialty being...BRATWURST. Your thinking. Yeah, sure, I can get those anywhere. Well if you do think that, your missing out on what this master has been doing for this market for some time now. He makes that ancient and venerable meat product in recipe's you wouldn't think possible. Yet, he's busy at it about every two to three weeks, with something completely new. And every one is absolutely scrumptiously delicious. And that also includes Chicken or pork Italian sausage, plain, sweet and hot, and Chorizo! You KNOW you want it!
Just check the photo's for yourselves. So, if your just gaga about bratwurst that's non commercial and honestly made, you know where to go now.

It took me a long time to go inside this store, because from the outside it looks like one of those tiny, neighborhood grocers with high prices and limited selection because they can't compete with the national chains. But that is not the case at all! Red Apple actually has a great selection of produce and groceries, with competitive prices, and an awesome deli with lots of hot lunch foods and yummy Mexican baked goods and desserts.

They had a Produce Tent sale set up in the parking lot with great prices!

The prices are higher than Safeway but the selection is better, the deli is better, and I find interesting new products.

This is a better red apple location and only improved over the years love their hot foods

I love this neighborhood store. The staff are always great and treat you like they know you. Things can get pricey at times, but the selection is fresh and varied. Highly recommended.

Smaller grocery store than your Safeway or QFC ect but they seem to have just about anything you need grocery wise. Or at least in a punch.

I live across the street so I pop in here all the time as it's literally right there, been coming in for almost 2 years now. Sure, some stuff is expensive, but some stuff is actually cheaper than QFC or Safeway, just depends on what you're looking for. Plus it's not a giant corporate chain so that's cool. Staff is super friendly, the Chinatown cafe and deli in the back are delish, and the produce and fish are always lookin so fine. Always got some kind of sale goin on too. Love my neighborhood store!

Great little local owned store in Seattle. Plenty of unique and local products and an interesting store layout! Salsa de Rosa is a new product here!

Expensive! But I love this place. Great beer selection. Meat is well cut and a great selection. All the staff are friendly plus the deli is always satisfying when I need a quick fix. I can't shop here for staples because of the price but for specialty needs or a couple things (including when the coffee is running low) this is the place to go on Beacon Hill.

This place has the off the chain food so it is always packed day to day,the staff are friendly and courteous, keep up the good work.

Had a great experience at Hilltop today! Amazing wine options and LaRisa in the wine department was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to meet my needs and even bring in wines I requested! Amazing customer service!!

Nice supermarket. Got what I wanted. Great location among the coffee shops and restaurants and the street design makes crossing a breeze and safe. Fell in love with this community from just a brief visit.

It's so clean 🫧 and friendly employees. Well organized and fully stocked shelves. I also tried the deli fresh and hot 🔥 dinners to go. It was delicious! I will definitely shop here. 🌹💗💋 Not shopping at no others 🤣

Red Apple has so many HELPFUL WORKERS who love to help us in watching what's good for us. I had no clue what this one Vegetable was called nor knew what it was, or how it was cooked, but RED APPLE HELPED ME, TAUGHT ME & GAVE ME THE GREATEST Recipe to make another HEALTHY MEAL. THANK YOU FOR CARING. I have never little knowledge of any Vegetable dishes. I have always been able to trust RED APPLE with the most freshest fruits n veggies & most friendliest workers ever.

Great selection, deli food is great, all sorts of different alcohol, and my favorite is they have some harder to find candy like root beer barrels, bit o honey etc for only $1 a bag

Definitely a little pricier than a QFC or Safeway, but the staff is always super inviting. Great selection and they even have a spot where you can request items. I don’t mind paying a little extra to support a local business over a big chain.
