Famous Tate Appliance & Bedding Centers

This was our second time using Famous Tate for our appliances and were, once again, so impressed with their excellent communication and customer service throughout the entire process. We made the purchase online on a Friday evening, we received a phone call about an hour later to confirm our order and schedule the delivery of our oven range and hood for Sunday (just 2 days after purchase!). We received emails/texts/phone calls the next day to confirm our order and delivery details. The day of delivery, we received confirmation and updates right up until the gentlemen arrived with our order. They were right on time, courtesy, friendly, and knowledgeable! It was such an easy, pleasant experience! I highly recommend Famous Tate!!!

Had to go fridge shopping on Christmas Eve of all times! I had looked elsewhere for what was available and went to Famous Tate because friends told me they had a good experience and selection. Cory showed me models I had looked at elsewhere plus a few more. I decided on a Frigidaire Gallery and have been pleased with my purchase and the help I received at the store. I am having a problem with a shelf but I am getting information together so hopefully Cory will be able to get me a new shelf. Highly recommend Famous Tate.

Very pleased with our entire experience with Famous Tate in Lutz. From working with Virgil, who took good care of us and found us the best deal, to the prompt and professional delivery and installation experience as well. We highly recommend this local retailer. We’ve had negative experiences with Lowe’s in the past when purchasing appliances, which led us to try out Famous Tate and we are very glad we did!

We had a wonderful experience starting from walking in and meeting Morris at the Land O Lakes location and all the way through delivery and set up. Morris was a pleasure to speak with and he was knowledgeable but not pushy at all! Prices were fair and customer service fantastic! We will be going back for more appliances after this interaction.

Nothing like having to make a fast purchase when a fridge suddenly goes on the fritz! As usual, Famous Tate saved the day. We got a better model than we expected (and had researched), at a lower price than expected, and it was delivered in two days. It arrived on time, was installed quickly and efficiently.

Our dishwasher needed a repair after only 2 years but thankfully we bought the warranty. The said the part wasn’t available and send us a check for the whole amount $949. Then my husband was able to fix it himself. God is good

Famous Tate in Land O Lakes was fabulous! I did not feel high-pressured by my wonderful sales person, Cory. He provided straightforward information for me to best decide what range I wanted.

The item was delivered within a couple of business days on time ana all!

We could not have had a better experience, after so many issues with buying a washer/dryer from Home Depot, we decided to go to Famous Tate in Lutz, bought the set from Mark T. On Saturday, he confirmed they had the set in stock and they were delivered and installed Sunday THE NEXT DAY! We could not be happier with with service we received from this team. Thank you Famous Tate!

From the purchasing process, to the delivery (on time), they are absolutely top notch! We have ALWAYS used them for all of our appliance and home needs for a reason. The service is consistent! They do what they say they are going to do every time. Every staff member I have interacted with is always professional. I have dealt with Morris 2 times now and he is helpful without being pushy! So easy to work with!

*I opted that they leave the items in my living room, but the moment they got here they offered to put it together.

I came in looking for a new washer and dryer. Morris was so knowledgeable from the products to the services and very patient in helping me pick the best option for me. They also have quick delivery so long as the product is in stock, which is very convenient.

Got delivery of my refrigerator this morning. The entire process from the sales floor to delivery was top notch professional. It defines what quality and customer service should be. The microwave was installed a few months ago also from Famous Tate and the experience was the same. I now have the kitchen in place that I wanted. I can’t say enough good things. In Lutz My sales rep was Morris. I’m also posting this to my Facebook page.

Needed a new refrigerator according to my wife. The GE I have is 27 years old and still going strong, just dated. I did my research and decided on a Bosch 500 series. Walked in and I was greeted by Virgil D. We walked over to look at the refrigerator I had in mind. Virgil proceeded to explain the features to me and my wife. I said “sold” and he wrote it up to have delivered on a Sunday. Due to the size and where it was to be located, I told Virgil the doors would need to come off then put back on. “No problem” he said. The delivery team was very accommodating and took their time to do everything right. This is my third experience with this Famous Tate location and due to their service and team, I keep going back when the need arises.

After spending 2hrs at another store and being frustrated with options available, 2 friends recommended I go to Famous Tate! I was greeted by Juan and after telling him what I needed, he took me directly to the options for me that I could touch and feel and not have to just look online! He showed me all the features on each refrigerator, the pros/cons, we looked at reviews for each and most importantly he was patient with me while also helping me! I’ve already referred 2 friends to him. The delivery process was excellent with communication and when the gentleman arrived, they were professional and courteous. Hands down an excellent experience. Love the refrigerator so far!

Our salesman Mark showed us a number of refrigerators and pointed out pluses and minuses for each, which helped us decide on our final choice. Delivery was on time and the two man team was excellent

We just got delivery of our new refrigerator today! Everything about our experience was 5 stars. Jerry, our sales associate was super friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy.
We were told that delivery would be at the end of the month. The next week, Jerry called, to let us know that delivery would be this week!
What a unexpected surprise!
Delivery went smoothly. Raul and Alex removed our old fridge and delivered the new one. They were polite and professional. We will be shopping at Famous Tate for our appliances! Go ask for Jerry! Thanks again

Updated review: After an initial poor experience with a warranty claim, the store came through and made it right.

Cory T helped us select a new washer and dryer to replace the ones that failed. Kevin the manager spoke with me as well and was very helpful as was Lisa in customer care in resolving the warranty issue. They have switched warranty companies since our purchase so hopefully the new company is better.

I had such great customer service at famous tates !!!! I had every question answered. I had a awesome customer service advisor. He was fabulous. His name is Morris. He got us all taken care of. Thank you Morris and famous Tate !!! I have shopped with them for years. Always a pleasure !!!!!

Outstanding Service!
We needed a new refrigerator, so we started looking around at the Box stores and online.
After creating a list, we had several models that we were interested in. We went to the Box store and while they had every model on the floor, they did not have any of them in-stock even though the website showed that they were in-stock! We then went to Famous Tate and all the floor models clearly showed if they were in-stock or if they were in backorder.
We worked with our Sales Associate Mike Kline and we were able to pick a model that was on our list.
The amazing thing was that the price on the model we picked was cheaper than the box stores.
At no time did we feel any high pressure to buy or upgrade to a different model.
We talked about the warranty and decided to purchase an extended protection plan.

The delivery team was on-time and quickly removed the old refrigerator and installed new one.
As part of the setup, they validated that the refrigerator was level and in good working order.
Also, I must mention that the delivery tracking tool is a nice feature. We have dogs and we were able to track the delivery truck and get the dogs put up just before they arrived.

This is the second appliance that we have purchased from this location and both time we have been happy with the experience. Great Job and highly recommend that you stop here first before going to the Big Box stores!

Our go to place for appliances. Tampa native and have bought appliances and mattresses for over 35 years. Competitive pricing, no pressure shopping and just nice folks.

We decided to try Famous Tates after our fridge died on veterens day. We went to home depot and Lowes first and was disappointed they had no veterans or military discounts on appliances. Not only was Famous Tates less expensive, but they offered a veterans Day discount.
