Sewell Mill Park

This is a nice, quiet park with plenty of seating. It has one covered Pavilion with a grill, five baseball fields with covered (shaded) bleachers (which are perfect for meeting others for conversations when the baseball fields aren't in use), four batting cages can be seen by the baseball fields, handicapped accessible public restrooms (bring your own soap and tp paper; they are located across from the public pool next to the ball field and are accessible to the parking lot), a public, fenced-in pool (only has water inside when open for the season), lighted tennis courts (with four areas to play tennis), several picnic tables (you may want want to bring your own popup sun shade to put over the picnic tables since many of them are not shaded), two playgrounds for kids and lots of parking places throughout the park.

This is a safe park for children and walkers. People can be seen walking their dogs on leashes.

The baseball fields have lights and can be used at night.

The park is behind the public library.

Nice place for a picnic. There's a tennis court, baseball fields, a pool, and plenty of shaded picnic tables. The birds seemed to expect us to leave crumbs, as we were circled and watched by a couple of brilliant red cardinals.

Nice baseball park. And if you want to run your sanitation business out of a Cobb County Park have at it...

We went to play tennis there. There are 4 courts.
For morning sport - start early on weekend, like around 7’ish

Well run park.

The baseball fields are well maintained and the playground is a very fun design! I love that the bleachers are covered which helps a lot in the summer. However, there are no accessible bathrooms minus a portapotty. My 3 year old in tee-ball has a hard time using these which makes baseball practice tough.
