My wife and I absolutely love this wine shop! The staff(Dan, Kurt, Shawn, Stacy) are all awesome people, are all very helpful and a delight to deal with. They have an incredible selection to choose from, are all very knowledgeable about wine and food. It's no secret why this is rated the #1 wine shop in Seattle. The wine, the people, and the prices are all the best in town!

Very helpful, kind staff, and a carefully curated selection you can trust, with both local and French varietals (our faves). We stopped in while visiting and happened upon the Saturday tasting, which was a lovely treat. Wish we lived closer so we could visit regularly!
They even have pre-cooled bottles in the fridge.

They also offer beautiful gift wrap and a loyalty program. This is my favorite wine shop-- well curated selection and impeccable service.

Great staff and wonderful wine selection. They're always happy to help, and are the least pretentious shop ever. Super approachable, even for those less sophisticated like myself. Can happily say they've never lead me wrong!

M&S is an excellent wine shop. I have not been to the Ravenna location (this one is closer to me). I've never had anything but a top notch experience with professionals. One of my tests for a good wine shop is to ask for 5 crisp whites (reds are too easy for this test) under $15. The recommendations and wines were all first rate, even impressive.

Excellent wine shop with friendly, knowledgeable staff who welcomed us to the neighborhood. I joined their wine club and enjoy their monthly wine tastings. You can also walk through an adjoining door to the excellent butcher B&E meats next door. What a great combination!

Dan McCarthy has got to be amongst the very top wine pallets in town! The stores selection is always extensive for such a small space. You can find great affordable bottles (under $15 to $19 is a great sweet spot) and you can also get special bottles over $20 (the skies the limit and mostly Dan can get it). Great selection of European classics and a few under the radar Appellations/Denominazione. And of course there are great WA wines!
Ask Dan, Kurt, Sean or Stacey what's new or tell them what you like and start a dialogue. It's worth it!

Having a knowledgeable staff help you narrow down options is such a better experience than staring at shelves of wine in the grocery store. They understand pairing, budget and individual palates.
