Good selection of pour overs. Nice espresso drinks. Didn’t try the food, but heard good things about it.
Congo beans tasted good in a cappuccino. Colombian natural pour over was very strawberry-forward with the white chocolate finish. Made on a Marco brewer.
Chocolate croissant was a bit dry. But in the US there’s only a handful of places with really good pastries.

The Kouign-amann and the Orange Almond Cake are sooo good! I'm picky about pastries and don't like a lot I've had here, but these were excellent. Big portions too. The atmosphere is cozy and staff are nice! Def recommend this cafe!

Really cool place! Interesting outdoor seating, but you have to wait for your food to get to you before you step out the door and walk into their outdoor area. But the interior is lovely! Very modern! Staff are really nice! You can tell they have good chemistry with each other. Foods comes out fairly quick too. I might actually come back here more often!

Amazing place!! Their food and atmosphere was really good and cozy i would say this is the perfect spot to share a good coffee and spend some time with a friend. I had the Grilled brie and prosciutto sandwich & Mocca coffe and was 10/10

YUMMY BAKERY! omg what an awesome coffee shop! The pastries are to die for the smells coming from here are just everything!! You also get a cute view of the space needle! Ladies working here are super nice 10/10 recommend

Was in desperate need of some coffee and this place was close to our hotel. The pastries and food looked amazing! Did not eat here though. Ordered my usual vanilla latte, but they did not have coconut milk. What they did have was macadamia nut milk, so I went with it. Oh my gosh! Game changer. SO yummy! Now I'm going to want this all the time, but I've never seen this offered anywhere else. The staff were super friendly. Will definitely be back when I am in town.

Brilliant cafe and bakery, I felt like I was back in Germany. Stayed at the Hampton across the street and got coffee & pastries three times during our stay! We were there in the winter and their Kopenhaven coffee was the perfect semi-sweet, spiced coffee drink. Can highly recommend any pastry that uses their croissant dough, they were all fantastic. My favorite cafe from my trip to Seattle, and we tried a lot.

Great roaster specializing in Scandinavian fare. I got an Ethiopian pourover, avocado toast, and a danish and all were impeccable. On top of that the service was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. The space is bright and clean and open and great for meeting friends!

The highlight of my visit was definitely the bakery. The pastries were out of this world - flaky, buttery croissants, decadent chocolate cakes, and mouth-watering cinnamon rolls. Everything was baked to perfection and tasted absolutely heavenly.

But the coffee was equally impressive. Café Hagen is a roastery, and you can taste the difference in their coffee. It was rich, bold, and perfectly brewed. They have an extensive selection of coffee blends and single-origin roasts to choose from, and the baristas are skilled at making the perfect cup.

Overall, I highly recommend Café Hagen to anyone visiting Seattle. The combination of their delicious bakery and excellent coffee is truly unbeatable. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's the perfect place to start your day or to relax with a good book. Five stars all around!

Super cute chill spot. I hung out here for a few hours to get some work done, I had their lavender pea flower latte and also a vanilla latte and they were both tasty. The ambiance is great, cool design and nice baristas. Would recommend to stop by!

OMG - happened upon this coffee shop - their coffee is perfect, food is out of this world and aesthetic is just what we wanted on a chill Friday off.

Amazing little place. Delicious coffees, not too much syrup and they know how to steam milk right horaaay! They also have some amazing little pastries. We had the churro cruffin and it was incredible 🤯

Nice little cafe, visited on my late lunch break, loved that they were still open after 2pm on a Sunday. The barista was very friendly. They were out of drip but gave me a pricey pour over for the same price. I didn't get anything to eat, but everything looked great.

What a refreshing new addition to the lower Queen Anne neighborhood. I brought my sons here and we had the most wonderful pastries that reminded us of our time living in Paris. Pure Danish delights, amazing coffee, and a warm welcoming atmosphere with beautiful design. We’re lucky to have this woman-owned business in our neighborhood!!

If you are in the area, Hagen is worth stopping by! We grab a pastry & coffee when we go get our nails done across the street. They have a huge variety of delicious pastries- the quiche is fabulous! The almond cake is divine! And the Sunny Seattle breakfast pastry is absolutely amazing! Their coffees are good with all of the usual options and a few seasonal or festive drinks available.

If you drink your coffee black, come here! They have fabulous tasty coffee with a variety of choices. Pastries are awesome, and they have a small but excellent unique twist on the traditional breakfast. The service is friendly and accommodating. Relax and enjoy this small, quiet venue.

I have been drinking black coffee for 30+ years and Hagen opened my eyes to how incredible black coffee can taste. Get a pour over with "berries" in the flavor profile and it can taste like hot blueberry juice. Never had anything like it before.

Nice vibe. Got the Mocha with some plant based milk. Tasted great!

Friendly staff, juicy espresso, fresh-baked pastries and breads - what's not to love? SO happy this spot moved into the neighborhood. I can't wait to taste all their single-origin coffees and work my way through the pastry offerings!
