MAHEC Family Health Center at Cane Creek

I have nothing but good things to say about MAHEC in general and especially the practice at Cane Creek. When I had to have back surgery several years ago, the veteran orthopedic surgeon that fixed me up looked at my medical records and said "you have had excellent medical care." I am still seeing the same doctor today (Dr. Coladonato) and he is still fantastic. Thanks everyone at Cane Creek MAHEC!

The Drs and staff have helped me take better care of myself as I age past my 70s.

We love cane creek Mahec!! This is the only Mahec I’ll ever go to. John Is absolutely the best PA. He actually listens to everything thing you say. He even asks about preconditions at the appointments. It’s hard to find a dr that cares about his pt. My husband and daughter just got out of the dr. My husband has never met him before as I had already switched both kids to John. My husband was more than pleased with him. Now my husband is wonting to switch his regular dr to John now. My husband is very hard to please and he did an outstanding job today. Thank you for all you do for my family and most importantly thank you for caring.

I love my provider, Angela Zarella! She listens to my concerns and genuinely wants to help if I have any problems or questions.

Just accompanied my husband to visit the doctor. I was beyond impressed. Dr. Coladonato was unbelievable-caring, attentive and professional. I highly recommend him

Was trying to call during the Day on Friday last week continue to say the were closed tried again Monday and Tuesday today at 9:50 am and it is saying there currently closed I would think there not seeing New patient if so they need to update there information with blue Cross blue shield I would believe I will have to find another doctors office Even though it's not looking good everything continues to tell me they're not seeing new patients even though on the site of Blue Cross and Blue shield says that they are and like one other person stated they wonder why ER and urgent care offices are overrun with non-urgent appointments I have been calling the number that is Google for them and what Google maps has associated with this location

Called here looking for a same day appointment due to an actual health concern I am experiencing over the last two days. It is not an emergency but can definitely be a sign of something serious. (I am a licensed healthcare professional). The receptionist said “yes, let me see what I have available today”. Upon asking for my name and date of birth she then asked if I had been seen there before. I explained I had not and she then said I would not be able to be seen until next month. I explained my concerns to her and that I’ve been on a waitlist for another clinic for 2 months and yesterday was told it would be another 3-4 to get in. That resulted in her suggesting I go to urgent care. So, they have availability, but won’t establish a new patient who is actively experiencing a health concern that is not an emergency. I explained it’s not an urgent care issue, it’s a PCP issue and asked if she knew any other clinics that I could contact and she said no. Then providers wonder why our ER’s and Urgent Care clinics are overflowing with non urgent/emergent patients.

Can’t be reached by phone nor web after days of trying. Not a good sign
