The food here is absolutely amazing and the southern beach atmosphere is hospitable. The servers are so kind and the cashier is so sweet. When i say the food is phenomenal here , i mean that beyond all words. If you value QUALITY food, come here. Dont waste your money at Fast Food places - they just couldnt compare to Henry’s. Real Talk.

Excellent breakfast restaurant in the Kill Devil Hills area. We were welcomed by friendly staff and were seated right away. I had the Nor'easter - eggs, sausage, cheese and home fries over biscuits and covered with gravy. It's as much food as it sounds like and it was very good. The coffee was excellent as well. Our server may have been new but the rest of the staff was very helpful in making sure we were taken care of. There's a small gift shop with some souvenir items and Henry's signature coffee for sale on your way out.

Henry's is a staple of kitty hawk.. some of the best seafood around and unlike some restaurants, the food is generous in portions and I promise you will be full afterwards. The food is cooked perfectly it was amazing .. Tammy, our waitress was on top of her game with perfect timing with her service and she is a local and can give you great information on the area .. we love coming here each year and will be back next year ..

This place was so awesome for breakfast that we ended up coming back for dinner on the same day! I'm so happy we picked this place to eat during our weekend getaway. We couldn't stop saying how delicious everything was! Our servers were also great and so kind and attentive to our needs. The bathrooms were clean. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and full of happy people with full bellies! My son ordered the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks both times because we loved them so much! They also have a cute gift shop at the checkout that had tons of goodies! Go check them out!

every visit to Henry’s has been excellent. today was no different BUT our server Stephanie raised the bar even more. She was extra amazing, warm & friendly & attentive! Food is always delish, coffee is fresh and piping hot, love the mimosa bucket, and the gift shop is the icing on the cake! Henry’s is a must stop every time we come to kill devil hills.

We had lunch here 3.21.2024 at 3:00pm. Our server was fantastic. The food, fried oysters and claims, were outstanding. The sides, potato salad and greens beans, although not made fresh, were pretty darn good. The ice tea is good enough to bring home to maw maw. Can’t wait to eat the key lime pie that is homemade. 5 stars is not enough for this gem!

Henry's is the best breakfast restaurant in the Outer Banks. Every single item we have ever ordered has been fantastic. We come back to Henry's multiple times every time we make the trip to the Outer Banks.

Service is exceptional, atmosphere is exceptional, and the food is exceptional. Everything about Henry's is fantastic and it is a MUST visit any time you visit the Outer Banks.

Best flounder I have ever eaten. Everything was delicious. Great service even on Mother’s Day.
Update: The following day I experienced symptoms of having too much MSG. We returned to the restaurant for another meal and asked if the coating on the fried items contains MSG. They replied that it does, so I had the broiled platter.
Everyone’s food was very good. We especially enjoyed the crab cakes, both broiled and fried.

This has become our breakfast spot while visiting the Outer Banks. Stephanie has been our server twice, and she is super sweet!!!

After a nice night out in OBX, our group needed to get some breakfast in us before the day started. We stumbled upon Henry's Restaurant, so we gave it a try.

The Food: I went with the "Steak and Eggs" for my meal. I was looking for a big meal, and this did the trick. The steak was cooked nicely, although a little thin, it was tender and delicious. The eggs and hash browns were cooked to my liking as well. It comes with two pancakes as well, and that was good.

The Service: Service was great! came in on a busy morning so we put our names down and waited to be called outside. The staff were very friendly and attentive with our group, so that was nice.

The Atmosphere: Plenty of seating inside. Nice and homey.

Overall, a 5/5! The staff were friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I'll be back for sure!

I’m really glad we tried Henry’s even though my wife and I aren’t into seafood. The menu is huge, place is clean, staff is friendly, and the vibe is uniquely vintage coastal. They have a small gift shop too. The chicken sandwiches were excellent (fried and grilled) so we’ll definitely be back for dinner soon!

If I die eating their she-crab soup, I'll die happy. But I'd rather live to have the fried catfish too. Lovely.

Been coming to the outer banks for many decades and this by far has been the most delicious breakfast I have had. Also found it to be very affordable! Friendly staff and although they were very busy we were seated almost immediately. The food speaks for itself. Check out the pictures. Huge delicious servings.

Absolutely amazing food and staff! I frequent Henrys often for all meals and have never had one I didn't enjoy. The staff is always kind and caring. Eat local support local 😊

Kinda surprised how busy this place was, so we figured it must be good. It met our expectations actually. We both had omelets hash Browns biscuits and bacon. Everything was delicious. Only issue was the biscuits crumbled easy so adding butter or jelly was a task but still really good. The service was fantastic. Definitely mark that on go again list

We went there on a working vacation. My son has fish/seafood allergies. We found out while waiting to be helped even the smell was going to upset/make him ill. So they graciously let us eat outside even though they hadn't opened their outside tables for the year yet. The food was good. The staff was awesome. So glad one of the locals gave us the tip to try this place. Great photo opportunities as well!.

The catfish here is amazing. Highly suggest if you plan on all-you-can- eat option, not to start with the catfish first. 3 large pieces on the plate. Start with another option & then fish comes out 1 piece at a time. Popcorn shrimp perfectly cooked & tasty. One order of clam strips overdone but the rest were great. Steamed shrimp also done to perfection. Buffalo shrimp (6) was excellent, oyster appetizer (8) really good, full plate of refried pickles were good, onion rings were crispy & tasty. Place was clean, service was prompt & pleasant. We will return!

Stopped in for lunch and wanted something different. I chose the Buffalo Shrimp Salad.
A large salad with plenty of fresh veggies, six large Buffaloed Shrimp, and Buffalo Sauce with your choice of dressing. I picked Bleu Cheese, my all-time favorite!
I was, once again, delighted.
