Absolutely amazing and my new favorite restaurant in town 😃 We went to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't be happier. The food was great especially the duck fat fries. The drinks were wonderful. The bartender was professional but also fun and made the best drinks I have ever had. We sat downstairs and it was such a fun vibe. We will definitely be going back!!!

Had the pleasure of dining at Shine recently. One of the best meals I've had on Main Street. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the hosts. Then proceeded to be seated almost as quickly. Scott waited on me, and he did a marvelous job. The staff are very friendly at Shine, and the restaurant itself has a very warm and comforting feel to it. While dining at Shine, I had quite possibly the best Bloody Mary I've ever had, along with a wonderful Cherry Cider. For my meal, I decided to try the Shrimp and Grits, along with the Sweet Potato Ravioli. Simply amazing. Can not recommend this place enough. When in Hendersonville, do yourself a favor and check out Shine.

Excellent service and excellent food. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very cool. Menu has many good choices, I went for the pork tenderloin and an old fashion. Would definitely recommend and go back if back in Hendersonville.

The lobster puppies were just ok.
The duck fat fries were very good!
So was the southern fried ribeye, excellent.
Ruben was nice.

Always a pleasure dining at Shine. Tonight we ordered their ultra special Tomahawk steaks and it’s a night we’ll never forget. Thank you to the entire staff!

Food was out of this world !! We had the stuffed mushrooms, frog legs, sweet potato ravioli and cheese cake for desert. It was probably one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. I have a gluten allergy, the waitress was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. She went over all my gluten safe options. Highly HIGHLY recommend this place!!

One of the most amazing dining experiences of my life. Everything was absolutely delicious and our waiter was so attentive, fun, and even did a surprise choice of dinner for my friend when she asked. The cocktails were flavorful and the food was melt in your mouth worthy. Will be coming back the next time I’m in town.

My husband, son and I came here for my 30th birthday dinner after a fun evening playing at the pinball arcade a couple blocks up.

The food was IMPECCABLE! We tried a few different appetizers which were ALL delicious!
We got the cajun wings with house made blue cheese, which ended up being a favorite. SO good! They come deveined, deknuckled, and popsicled on the bone. Crispy skin and juicy meat, don't miss out on these!
We also ordered the escargot which was my favorite! Absolutely delicious! Our wonderful waitress Tammy recommended we get a baguette to dip in the melted butter leftover from the escargot. Which was in fact, a genius idea! The butters that come with the baguette pair perfectly as well.
For our son we got him mini corn dogs and french fries. He is 5 years old and a picky eater but he ate some of his corn dogs and loved the fries!
We also had the duck fries and the pretzels with beer cheese which were also gratifying!

Our service was PHENOMENAL! If you get Tammy as your waitress, you're in for a treat! It was our first time here at Shine and Tammy went above and beyond to guide our experience! She had great recommendations and her knowledge of the menu was impressive! She broke everything down for us so we were able to choose what was best for our family. I ordered the delicious chocolate mousse and she even brought a candle out with it for my birthday. Thank you for everything Tammy! You truly SHINE! 😉

Overall we had an unbeatable experience! If and when I find myself in Hendersonville again, this will forever remain a MUST STOP! Thank you everyone at Shine for delicious food, top tier service, and a birthday dinner I'll never forget.

Lovely place, great energy, high quality culinary dishes. Got drinks and desert at the bar and had a wonderful time. The chocolate pave was wonderful.

OMG!! Bloody Mary’s to die for!! 6 of us for brunch and we each had a different dish.. each one perfect! Must try this place. So appreciate the good waitress and the subtle classic music. Casual but upscale. Love it!! Prices are good too.

We stopped in for dinner last night. I had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. My husband had the mussels and they were good size and the portion was huge. My daughter had the pub burger and it was cooked perfectly. Everything from the seating, food, service, and atmosphere was 💯. We always have a good meal at this spot!

My fiancé and I were staying about 40 minutes outside of Asheville, so we found ourselves in downtown Hendersonville one night during our trip and it did not disappoint. We chose Shine because their menu was very extensive and had a little bit of everything we were looking for.

They had rooftop, street level, and downstair dining areas. We were seated downstairs and it had a unique ambiance. We started out with 2 Moscow Mule’s and they were so refreshing. The ginger beer is made in house and is very tasty! We ordered the pork belly egg rolls as an appetizer and they were one of the best things we ate all weekend. They were perfectly crisp and the dipping sauce paired very well with the egg rolls.

I ordered the 16 ounce ribeye and it was very flavorful and well presented. I had fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes as my side and they both were very good as well. My fiancé ordered the mahi mahi with pineapple salsa and cilantro rice. This dish was almost perfect! The flavors blended well and there was no part of the dish that overpowered the other. It all was very complimentary to one another.

We would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area and will be back next time.

We had Scott as our Waiter, he is incredibly professional and personable. We ate the Duck Fat fries, panko shrimp, pretzels, mussels, and the roasted Artichoke that was a special. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious. The only thing I would recommend, is to turn down the music, it is way too loud for such a nice, upscale restaurant.

Nice outdoor dining area & great service. Crab cakes were good, not great. Prosciutto salad was excellent. Burgers & fried chicken sandwiches were very good. She crab soup was just ok. Nice ambiance on the inside, but we ate outside.

Our first visit. Clients recommended this place to me. Love is in the details. Best place in 5 years..Tonight, we had a reservation for 10 for my husband's 60th birthday. Angela was our server. EVERYTHING WAS FABULOUS START TO FINISH. WE ALL LOVED IT. I cannot wait to go back. Thanks yall. Every detail was covered. Top knotch. First-class. We appreciate everything. If you want a decent dining experience in downtown Hendersonville, Shine is the place to go! From well balanced meals to amazing drinks, this place has it all! The rooftop is an amazing investment for people that might just want to have a drink before walking around downtown or the basement to avoid the chaos from the main restaurant. Either way the food is superb and if you're curious, what is the best item on their menu.... It's the escargot appetizer and the duck as an entree. I've had several items off the menu and yes it may all be a bit pricey but it's worth it compared to other restaurants on the strip. Take the time, and go here. 💜

The food and atmosphere at this establishment are amazing. Our waitress did an excellent job and always had our drinks full. The Tomahawk ribeye was exquisite and the dessert was top notch. The peanut butter pie, brownie a la mode, and cream brûlée were outstanding. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Great food. Sunday brunch was delicious. We visited a few times during our stay and the service was impeccable. Nice balance of professional and friendly.

We stopped by the rooftop bar and caught sunset one night. Beautiful!

Great service and the food is outstanding. The blackened chicken is super juicy and the steak frites is exceptional! Great beer selection and desert is a must.

Was a return trip to celebrate a birthday. Food, drinks, and service was excellent as it has been in the past as well. Sophia was our server and was fantastic! We all had a great time and will be back.
