BROWNE FAMILY VINEYARDS PIONEER SQUARE TASTING ROOM VIBES - Wine tasting in Pioneer Square🍷 Don’t mind if I do!

Located in the historic Seller Building designed in 1906, the tasting room had a cool aesthetic that fit the cloudy Seattle morning vibes.

They had a number of wine flight options and we went through the Patio Pleasers flight which included: rosé of Grenache, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Gris, & we got to try the Chardonnay & some bubbles as well.

I was amazed about the pale color of the Sauvy B & Pinot Gris! But was gratefully reminded that color does NOT equal flavor. Those were my favorites due to the delicate aromatics & crisp flavors. Patio Pleasers for sure! The rosé was delicious as well. Took some Pinot Gris home to pair with some seafood later. Would go perfect with roasted fish with a lemon & capers 🤤

We attended the Bordeaux Blending event with Chris. It was absolutely amazing! I love the wines and Chris is fantastic! If you like good red wine, plan to go and even better….do the Bordeaux blending. Highly recommend.

Great local wine just minutes from Pikes market. The wine has a lot of French influence and has a great story of sustainability. They have an amazing initiative for Orca Whales. The service here was fantastic, Maggie and Elizabeth. Elizabeth was our server and she had excellent recommendations. Overall the service was just fantastic and made us excited for the possibility of visiting the winery

Loved it so much we became wine club members. Exited for our first wine picks. We did the seasonal flight and it was lovely. Ended up taking 6 bottle home. Great spot.

Wine flight at Browne is generous and delicious! The wine paired well with a simple cheese plate. We are wine club members and really enjoyed tasting wines different than what we receive in our club orders. The indoor atmosphere is quaint, bright and perfect to duck into during a rainy day. We visited about two weeks ago on a warm sunny day and enjoyed sitting outside. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. We look forward to visiting again.

This is, by far, the best wine tasting room in downtown Seattle – head there now for a classy, delicious, and unbelievably good time! We visited only a few times before we had to become wine club members of Browne Family Vineyards, and we couldn’t ask for a better experience (both in the tasting room and at home). These wines are a perfect display of Washington’s best wine; we strongly recommend a stop (or two+) at this tasting room if you love WA wine!

Had a wine tasting here which was fantastic. No pretentiousness, all quality and fun. If you're looking to learn more about wines or are really into exploring wines either way this place is worth it.
We had a tasting run by myfanwy which was excellent. She really knows her wine and answered all of our questions. When she realised we had a bunch of people with opposing tastes she uncorked something for everyone and nailed it as far as presentation and selection goes. I really loved at the end there was no hard upsell just a discrete here's the price list if you need anything else.

Great wine selection/atmosphere/price/location/friendly staffs.

I enjoyed a fantastic tasting here. Arriving at 11am on a weekday, I was warmly welcomed by Greg, who proceeded to treat me to a couple of hours of great wine and even better chat. I walked away with a special bottle to bring back home to Australia, which I look forward to drinking in years to come, no doubt bringing back memories of my time in Seattle. Highly recommend a visit if you are in town and into wine! Thanks Greg, you are the man!

One of the best interpretation of single-varietals of Bordeaux grapes, notably the Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. It's well-worth stopping by, setting in and tasting the flights of their wine portfolio. We bought the 2014 Klipsun Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon which is exclusive right now in the tasting room, but most of the wines are available online. If you're visiting Seattle and you love wine, stop in at the Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room.

Great place, amazing staff, and good wine! My husband and I became wine club members awhile ago and love the benefits. We randomly go in for tastings and they always accommodate us. Recommend for anyone who’s looking for good wine in a low key (quaint) space.

Always a wide selection of great wines to try. Tasting from $15-30 for 4x3oz pours + wine by glass. Small selection of snacks . Staff very knowledgeable & friendly…

An amazing little wine tasting room of a vineyard that is excelling at making high quality wines. On point design and perfect location.

Fabulous wines downtown in Pioneer Square, diverse selection, it's obviously made by a wine lover...and the backstory is wonderful!

It was a while ago when I was here but being in Seattle again made me think about it. One of the people I was working with on a business trip to Seattle raved about their wine, said it was all he and his wine drank. So he invited me for a glass and there we were. The young man working there was courteous and helpful and told us all kinds of great information about the winery and vineyards. It seems there was an OSS officer in the family that inspired the owners. That was great because the unit I was in in the army developed out of these brave men and women. The wine was good too!!! Stop in sometime, you will be pleased.
