Mike's On Main

Mike’s on Main is the perfect spot for some comfort food! The atmosphere is very kitschy and fun — you feel like you’re back in the 1950s. The service is wonderful as well. We had Randy and he was very personable and gave us the best recommendations. All of our sandwiches were delicious and filling. It’s simple food but done very well. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Mike's on Main Street is absolutely worth a look. The meticulously maintained building, on the corner of N. Main St. and 3rd, is the former Justus Pharmacy, which opened in 1890 and operated until 1990s. The interior retains much of the pharmacy/soda fountain's historic character. And they still serve food.

We parked on the outskirts of town and walked in without parking fees (new parking fees in downtown Hendersonville ). Great atmosphere of an old diner/soda shop. Tastey chocolate malt but small for the cost. All sandwiches came with chips unless you add french fries for $2.50 more (each sandwich no fries $12.99 avg). Very delicious food. Jute Box music playing.

Very, cool nostalgic atmosphere. Live music out front on patio, Saturdays noon-2pm. Food was tasty. Staff was friendly. We had a fabulous lunch!

We eat lunch during lunch rush with an event going on Main Street. The restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly and offered drink while waiting to order. Our server was not long from the time we sat at our table to take our order.

I ordered Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich, sweet tea and strawberry milkshake. The sandwich was nice and gooey and full of flavor. The milkshake had a good strawberry flavor.

The food had great taste and the serve was friendly and top-notch. I would gladly eat here again.

Very friendly staff, Food was great and portions are big. Lots of cool decor to look at. My only complaint would be the milkshake is small

We loved this diner! We stopped here for cherry sodas and a banana split and they were delicious! The service was friendly and fast!

I went here a number of years ago and came back for lunch during this year's Apple Festival. So glad I did. My son had a wonderful Reuben, and I had a wonderful grilled cheese sandwich. The fries were great. I thought it was neat that they offer both Pepsi and Coke products. The service was good and the food was yummy. The atmosphere was neat. Should we have out of the area friends come into town, this would be a fun place to take them. I could see that this would be a good place for kids, especially with the menu options. Thankful for this place and based on my positive experience, I recommend.

Hey! I have a potato allergy and this place was amazing and worked with me, making sure my burger was safe! I loved the pickles here! The service was wonderful and what a lovely and kind waitress! Waitress Jackie, you're the best! Thanks!

Precious restaurant, food was amazing, and service was on point! I swear someone in the back is making this food with pure love! EVERYTHING we ate was delicious!! 🤤 If I could give more stars I WOULD! This is our new favorite spot to eat!!!!

This place was so neat! I got a cherry cola, which was so delicious. We also got a hot dog, fries, and a cheeseburger. We were very pleased with our meal and the overall atmosphere. Thank you for running small restaurants like these and keeping them alive!

I really appreciate the way they’ve got it decorated, I am a fan of old school. The service was good even though they needed a little help. The waiter was running his self ragged trying to take care of everybody.
But still get a good job
We will be back.!!

Awesome dinner admosphere in this place.
Wife had breakfast #3 special plus to share Blue berry pancake. I had small oat meal & Veggie bowl, no cheese.
Service was excellent, food was well prepared & exquisite. We had a great breakfast :-)

A Hendersonville staple. Solid food options a bit on the pricier side, but it is Main St. They are trying to pivot to more of a restaurant than the old school milkshake counter service they had before, but they do need the extra seating with how packed it can be during peak summer. Sweet potato fries and cheeseburger with milkshake are my go-to’s.

October 1, 2021- visit Hendersonville town. I took picture of mural wall coca cola drink. It's so cute drug store and restaurant too.
I find out my Google maps many pictures of drug store very nice place. Oh I want go back again visit there.
Again visit here. December 3rd, 2021- finally go in Mike's On Main so cute little space many tables. Wow so very delicious 😋🤤 foods very great 👍💯 love place. 💓

Greeted warmly and fabulous atmosphere! Enjoyed mulled hot apple cider, along with deliciously grilled with onions cheeseburger with sweet potato fries! Fritos with chili and cheese all hit the spot on this Chilly afternoon ! We will be back and highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you're in hendersonville this is the only place you should be going to. We're from Jacksonville NC who happened to pass by this restaurant and boy are we glad we did. Amazing food, cheap, and wonderful aesthetic.

i was out for a spin around a town i was visiting and it was recommended that i come get a chicken salad sandwich from mikes. I'm picky about the chicken salad i eat but I'm happy to say that not only was the food super but so was the atmosphere. the 1950's feel of a pharmacy was a nice touch too i really enjoyed my time at mikes the sandwich wasn't small either it was a good size. all made fresh I could tell. i highly reccommend you go check out mikes on main in hendersonville north carolina!

My first time and food was great reasonable price and service outstanding the lady was very nice got our order gave plenty of condiments we had a pick up order of 5 everyorder was correct heard no complaints we will be back again 👍 I recommend the French Toast also

I had the eggs florentine with nova salmon and breakfast potatoes. It was wonderful. I love the nostalgic look of the place. The only down side is that I was over the weight limit to ride the mechanical horse out front however I did give a kid change to ride it 🤣🤣
