Hertz Car Rental - Seattle - Perimeter Road South HLE

This is the only time I've ever felt compelled to leave an overwhelmingly positive review for a rental car place, but it's very much warranted in this case. When I arrived at this location to pick up my rental car and started having unforeseen issues with my credit cards, Inez went way above and beyond to make sure I could keep the reservation. She worked with me past closing time to line things up, and because of her patience and understanding, a much-needed road trip proceeded as planned, and of course the charges were paid for in time. Thanks Inez!!

Inez and Richard did a great job of going the extra mile to make us happy when the car we had reserved wasn’t available (previous renters hadn’t brought it back yet, not the fault of Hertz). They were both friendly and helpful and very responsive to our problem. Problem solved, happy customers.

Had a relatively smooth and easy experience here! Some tips to make your car rental as smooth and easy as mine:
1) Do NOT rent through 3rd parties (ex: expedia), as you will not have a confirmed reservation and you will NOT have a car on site when you come. You must reserve directly through Hertz's website or by phone to Hertz at this location
2) Do NOT rent an electric car--their prices are low for a reason. You cannot guarantee to recharge your car as the public charging wires are all cut throughout the city (people like to cut the wires and collect the copper).
3) Rent from a different location if you're hoping to get a car quickly, as they have a limited number of cars since they're usually catered to a small clientele of billionaires who have their own planes/jets and as such they rent cars to said billionaires.

The lady behind the counter (Inez) explained everything very well and patiently. We came unknowingly from renting through expedia an electric car, but ended up paying the extra to get a gas car which we didn't mind since they had laid out Hertz's terms clearly (which are very different from expedia's). However, the extra pay was not that much considering that we got a relatively nice car, and they were able to answer any and all questions with friendliness and ease.

Thank you Inez for your great customer service and for helping us to understand in a quick and easy manner! As I see from these other reviews, not getting what you expected can understandably be frustrating, but there is no need to take it out on the people who are behind the counter. They were honestly quite helpful and were eager to answer questions when asked earnestly.

I just had the most amazing experience at this place! There was this employee named ienz, and let me tell you, she was absolutely incredible. I mean, seriously, this woman knew everything there was to know about renting a vehicle, and she explained everything to me with such patience and professionalism. Not only that, but she was also super friendly and made me feel completely at ease, especially since it was my first time renting a car.

Honestly, I can't stress enough how knowledgeable ienz was. She answered all of my questions without hesitation and really took the time to make sure I understood everything. It's rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like she did. Her customer service skills were out of this world, and I genuinely felt like she cared about my experience.

In fact, ienz's service was so exceptional that it goes beyond just deserving a raise or promotion. She truly deserves to be recognized as an invaluable asset to this company. Her dedication and expertise made my entire rental process smooth and enjoyable, and I can confidently say that she is the reason I would give this location a rating of 11 out of 10.

Because of ienz, I am now a loyal customer and will definitely be coming back to this location in the future. Her exceptional service and attention to detail have won me over. I believe that ienz's professionalism, curiosity, patience, kindness, and personable nature make her an outstanding employee who should be acknowledged and rewarded for her contributions.

In summary, ienz's outstanding performance and remarkable customer service skills deserve recognition. She made my first-time rental experience beyond exceptional, and I am confident that she will continue to impress and delight customers. I highly recommend acknowledging her dedication and providing her with the appreciation she truly deserves.

Very satisfied with the rental booking service. Came at lunchtime and was greeted by a friendly lady at the desk.
After that another very helpful and amicable guy G went to get the car - he checked and took pictures of the exterior for any existing damage - pictures will be emailed to your hertz gold member email.

Whole process probably took about 10-15 mins - quick and fuss free.

Not sure why there are some not so pleasant reviews, but I suppose all rental companies suffer from it ; check any car rental google reviews- and there will be some negative reviews. Guess that’s the nature of the business…

But thankfully the experience here was quite alright 👍🏻😀👌

10/10 best experience I've had. Tatianna and Jessica made sure my billing was correct, my car was ready prior to my arrival time and even checked in with me at the end of the rental to make sure my family and I were satisfied with the rental.
Not sure what everyone else experience has been but you get what you give and we came in with positive energy and they reciprocated it if not went above and beyond. We will be coming back

I can only speak for my own experience, but my experience differed from many here it seems. I rented a cargo van for two days, and they were great in helping me get a new vehicle when the tie-down anchors did not work as expected in the original vehicle.

I dropped the keys off in the box the night before it was due, and I got the bill which is exactly what I expected.

Went in with a reservation from Expedia & wasn’t able to get a car off the bat. Thankfully, the staff they had a great attitude & helped us every step of the way to getting a car that afternoon for us. Can’t thank them enough for saving the 1st day of our Washington trip. Really appreciate the help!

There are some pretty terrifying reviews on here, but I just spoke with Kaitlyn (connected instantly after 3 rings) and she was super helpful confirming that they do allow cars to be taken into Canada and don't allow tire chains.

Booked online a few days before needing the car. Lou the branch manager made the process very quick and simple. Greeted me with a smile, upgraded my vehicle, and even booked a Lyft to pick me up to take me to Hertz all with no extra charge. Best service I've had from a car rental service!

Great location close to everything. Helpful staff. Got a great deal on a Tesla Y for a week

Great experience. Guillermo did a great job and got us on the road in less than 20mins!

PS - This location was a lot more affordable than Sea-Tac. I saved A LOT including the Uber ride here. Highly recommended.

Good location close to downtown when it's difficult to find cars in the city. Easy access next to air strip. Nice helpful staff. Has late drop off too.

Jessica is amazing. She knows more about hertz and how everything works there than the customer service and gold card member line combined. She was able to answer all my questions and help me, hands down the most competent person I’ve dealt with in the entire company.

I have been renting from Hertz for quite awhile and I have always been treated very well. I really like renting from this rental office everyone is great to work with in and out no problem. I highly recommend them

Couldn't believe the deal my wife found on the internet. Landed in Seattle and Ubered to Boeing field to avoid all the airport rental fees. And they upgraded us for free!
