Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Shelly was amazing. It started withy daughters and I driving by but they were not open yet. We were greeted with a Smile and two fingers to indicate 11am. Shelly happened to be out server and just really bubbly and pleasant. My daughters and I didn't have to repeat what we wanted not sisnee have to ask for a single refill. She made this little spot nice. The food was delicious hot and fresh. Great middle of the day experience. Thank you all!!! Oh and all three of us to eat a nice sized lunch for less than 30 dollars was spectacular as well.

On vacation. Enjoyed this meal today. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures of everyone else's food. Their meals looked delicious. I can tell you, plain burgers were delicious, real meat! I don't eat carbs, that's why my plate is so plain. It was satisfying. I feel bad I forgot the server's name. Darian or Darius. He was so friendly and professional. I would definitely visit again..

The food was great. The service was excellent. I wish I got his name ! He cheerfully greeted us as we entered. He is genuine! He loves what he does. He sings as he works. He is a ray of sunshine.

Food was really great, the chicken bacon ranch sandwich really hit the spot! The paper cars are a pretty cool nostalgic touch & I was glad it was only $1 to buy one for us kids at heart! Staff was friendly even when busy from the dinner rush.

Great food and friendly folks that actually hold the door open and greet you as you enter. Cool old school burger joint/diner/drive-in vibe. I would definitely stop there again. Slightly hidden but not too far off the highway.

Burgers were delicious and we tried the onion rings for the first time, also spectacular! Our server was very friendly and helpful and we saw the other server go way out of her way to open the door for some folks that needed assistance. 5 stars for.food AND service!

Pricey AF, but good burger. Onion rings are very average. Not bad. Just not exceptional. Not sure if the regular sized burger is 10.00 good, but it was very good!

I had the grilled pimento cheese with bacon, tater tots, and a hot dog: the order was timely, accurate and extremely tasty. The server was attentive and courteous. My wife had the chopped steak with peppers and onions: it well prepared and good. The cook is to be commended. The nostalgia of the dine-in experience is fantastic.

A family member recommended the burgers here to me. The staff was friendly and attentive. Service was quick as well. My burger and fries came out hot and fresh. I ordered the Americana, and the burger patty was perfectly seasoned! I've eaten plenty of gourmet burgers that weren't worth the money because they don't season their meat properly. Fries were nice and crisp and fresh as well. I will definitely return in the future.

We ate at a Hwy 55 in Springhill, TN and we were excited to find this one hoping it was just as good…and it was!!! Not only was it just as good but we had an added bonus of Darian, our waiter! He made our experience there fun! Fantastic burgers and old fashioned shakes!

Great food. 4 star for the new waitress not knowing what to do. She should shadowing someone her first day, not left alone wondering if she is doing right or not. Management fault, not hers. I'll still be back though.

Gotta admit, this is most definitely one of my absolute favorite restaurants around, the service is always great, I usually make odd requests for food and they accommodate quite well. The environment is perfect, the floor and tables are always clean, and I adore the music they choose. The fried pickles are top notch

Hwy 55 is an amazing place great food. Family friendly. Shelly always goes out of her way to make sure customers are taken care of. Kim the owner and her entire crew are unbelievably friendly and great at what they do. Try the banana pudding ice cream and thank me later.
