Very friendly staff and good prices. Worth checking out as it has a cool vibe inside. Loads of vinyl, cds, dvds, cassettes and books. Bigger store than you may think and has easy accessible parking right out front. Grab a free poster on your way out 🤗

We love Silver Platters SODO! It is one of the most comprehensive record stores around Seattle for the largest selection of general vinyl. All of the employees are so nice and consistently helpful. We go pretty frequently and have done several orders as well as dropped in to see if they have specific records. They always call immediately when orders come in and are warm and welcoming when you come in to pick it up.

TONS of CDs! I was really surprised at how big their selection was here. The staff were super friendly. Everything was fairly priced, if a tiny bit more than I've seen elsewhere. Not the worst though considering how vast the store is.

My daughter was looking for records nobody had, and they had them!! Amazing space for a music addict. They have EVERYTHING! CDs, cassettes, records - it was amazing!

Had a lot of fun shopping the stock of LPs and 45s. A lot of surprises mixed in the bins so don’t hesitate to spend some time and flip thru everything. I found some great Soul 45s as well as some newish death metal. Eddie was a thrill to chat with at the counter. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program and check back often!

The staff is very articulate. A surprising amount of my wish list was fulfilled. Will shop there again

Biggest record store I’ve ever been to, and such an incredible selection of music, books, dvds… they have almost anything you could possibly ask for! And awesome customer service too. Highly recommend.

Way bigger than you think pulling up! This place just keeps going and going. Easily the most extensive collection of multimedia (CDs, cassettes, vinyl, etc.) I have ever seen in a resale spot. I look forward to adding SP into my regularly visited locations in the Seattle area.

This place has great inventory of vinyl and CDs priced reasonably.

Always find what I'm looking for, sometimes movies are a lot more expensive than best buy, but the staff is sweet and kind.

I think the best most outstanding record store I’ve been to. I remember when they were off 5th and Roy, before that it was Tower Records.

Probably my favorite record/movie shop in the Pacific Northwest. They have the best prices (try 3.99 for most movies) and a large selection of vinyl and cds. Also, their rewards program is great.

Silver platters is one of my favorite record stores, they always have such an amazing selection with reasonably priced products and a great store layout! Some of the other record stores in Seattle especially
feel really pretentious and unwelcoming but at all silver platters locations I’ve always felt welcome and comfortable being there!! Every staff member I’ve met have been super kind and always give great recommendations of artists to check out and local events happening!
