Awesome experience. The food tastes real good. I had Achari Chicken, Paneer Makhani, Palak Paneer, aloo tikki chaat, samosa chaat, paratha and everything was quite fulfilling. It was raining the day I went there and the owner was very kind and provided a table and allowed us to sit in a shade. I would recommend this place if you want to have a nice indian food.

Authentic Indian Food!

This casual Grab & Go cafe is literally a hidden gem & you don't get to eat such flavourful Indian Snacks every day.

I couldn't ever believe to be served such good food from a place like this, because it's nearly concealed.

These people operate through a small window, basically, all the give n take is done using that tiny window. There's a menu sticking on the top, you order & wait for the magic.

I ordered a Samosa Chaat, Pav Bhaji & trust me that's the best ever Samosa Chaat I could ever find around here. Also, being a visitor in Gatlinburg, I didn't expect to have Indian Food let alone the Authentic Taste of India.

PS- Paid Parking is available nearby. No parking at the restaurant.

I came here last year and had the best tea other than what I make at home and had been looking forward to it again! I really thought I had written a review!! I guess I write them in my head and then forget to actually do them!
Ok let me start by saying I'm very particular about my tea, I've been making it since I was 7 so it has to be perfect. The right color, the right proportions of water and milk etc so when I like tea it means it's really good!
Well almost 9 months later I'm back here and the yes, the tea is as good! They use a masala on it that has a hint of ginger and is reminiscent of home!
You will notice that I don't say 'chai tea' because that's basically saying tea twice! Tea tea sounds ridiculous doesn't it?
I also tried the samosa's and they were excellent! I thought they would taste like store bought ones but they don't! The crust is nice and flaky and the potatoes and peas inside are so yummy!
I think I just ruined my appetite but it was worth it. I was going to have dessert first anyway ( headed for some donuts! )

I’m Indian, I’ve been to India, and this food is better than what’s in the motherland. It’s so good we went 4 times during our 2 night trip. Thank you for the amazing food! Oh, the spicy chicken achari is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Chai is 100% legit- boiled cooked Indian Style. Samosa Chat and everything else is fresh and tastes great. The Punjabi couple are nice too.

I’d have never expected an Indian restaurant to be so amazing in terms of food at a tourist place. The achari chicken was the best I ever had in the US and Dal was not far behind. The spice level was precisely the way it should be in a spicy curry or a mild dal.
Do give it a try and you shouldn’t be disappointed.

The men working here are very nice. I am Indian and I made sure to make a stop here. Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, I know frozen Indian food, and I assure you, this is NOT frozen. It’s fresh and absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best curries I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend the Chicken Achari for my Indian spice lovers!

This place is amazing for the Indian food. I was drawn to this place first because of the funny name combining funnel cakes and Indian
food but then after spending some time in Gatlinburg I realized it would be the only place for me to eat healthy and delicious vegetarian food. I have come here twice for dinner and I am so pleased with what I got and I really enjoy talking to the owners too! You will not be disappointed. So happy there is some food with culture in this town

It is just a small to-go eatery. They don’t have a restaurant dining. There is an open space in the complex with seating arrangement where we can have the food. But the food was so good. We ate there twice in our trip to smokies. That is the only Indian restaurant around. Limited food menu but everything were so good and tasted like good quality. Not like just for name sake Indian food where they just coat some gravy over chicken. It was properly done. We tried 3 entrees in chicken, chaat items etc. All were good. Definitely recommended👍🏻

Getting Indian food in Gatlinburg felt like a luxury no less Indian street food like Vada pav and Chat, both of which were amazing here. The Pav Bhaji was okay however. Plan to wait for the order during peak hours as it gets backed up quite a bit.

Oh how glad I am I stumbled across some reviews of this spot and took a chance on it on my trip to the smoky mountains. The Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area isn't the easiest place to find a good veggie filled dinner (you vegetarians out there who have visted are probably nodding your head!) - so it was a pleasant surprise to have such good vegetarian indian food (they have meat dishes too which my boyfriend tried and LOVED). We went back we liked it so much. Do yourself a favor and get the samosas too, they are so good - everything tastes fresh and flavorful here - highly recommend it especially if you are vegetarian!

Perfect and tasty Indian Food at this place. Vada Pav n Samosa was awesome. We were there for 2 days and we had our lunch on both days here. And yes...Mango Lassi is something you can not avoid... If you want to try Indian food in this area... this place is must...

We are major foodies and were very impressed with the food here. We ordered 2 Chicken Tikka Masala. It’s probably the best Indian food we’ve ever had and we eat Indian food all the time. Definitely recommend and for sure will eat here again when we come back to visit!

The woman who took our order was very polite and friendly. Got mango milkshakex2 and they were very good - not too sweet but still very flavorful and a great treat on a hot day. Took less than five minutes to fix up our treats. The food smelled wonderful, will definitely be back!!

I went there last year September. I forgot to leave a review but I think I should. I ordered a small snack called Samosa chaat. It was good. The best thing is you could sit the table outdoor, enjoy the food with kids playing around.

Wow the highlight of our trip so far! Such a delightful couple cooking authentic Indian cuisine. The potato cakes topped with chickpeas were incredible. We had Chicken Tikki Masala which was melt in your mouth delish. Ask about the chicken dishes!!!

I was greeted by such a sweet Indian lady. She made my heart melt! This was my first time trying chai. I come from a small town and we don't have any Indian food here and I surely haven't mastered the technique of the chai lol. I ordered samosas and they were so fresh and spicy (to an American it was spicy, okay?🤣). Then I tried the chai and fell in love (I came back two other times that day to get it.) The lady told me she is from Punjab so I asked her if she liked paneer. Then she handed me and entire menu of paneer. My heart started to dance some Biba nachi di dance. I haven't tried all of the paneers yet other than Saag and Tikka masala, so I just got the tikka. It was so creamy and the sauce was delightful. When I came back home, I didn't stop talking about this place. It was the highlight of my trip! Definitely recommend going here! I would rate 1000000 stars if I could!

Their vada pav took us back to Mumbai. We had a total of 12 vada pavs in 2 days between the 2 of us. Samosa and samosa chat were great too it wasn’t the store bought frozen samosa. We also had Bhel puri which was delicious. Freshly squeezed lemonades couldn’t get any better. I would visit gatlinburg from Louisiana just for the vada pavs again.
