The Peddler Steakhouse

Our visit was amazing. We made an online reservation for a table next to the river, and the view during dinner was quite nice. Jocelyn took our drink orders, and Wyatt later came by with steaks that hadn't even been cut yet. All our food came right on time, without any long gaps between the salad bar, appetizer, and entree. Steaks were amazing and cooked exactly as ordered. Definitely come give them business when you're in Gatlinburg.

Husband and I had dinner here on our wedding day 11~17~23. The food was phenomenal, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. So romantic too! We got a seat by the river and even saw a black bear walk by! How cool! Such a perfect place to have dinner on such a perfect day. The staff congratulated us on our marriage during dinner and even after dinner as we were walking out the door. Made us feel so special, like we were the only customers there. We absolutely loved this place, and could not recommend it enough. Absolute 10/10! We hope to return on a future anniversary! ❤

My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening. We scored a last minute 9:30 reservation with a river table. The view was gorgeous. The food was excellent! Salad bar is fresh and constantly being restocked. I got the filet and my husband got the prime rib. Both were absolutely delicious! We had the fried green beans and hot blackberry cobbler as well. Service was impeccable. It’s near impossible to go out and get great service, excellent food, and a nice view, but The Peddler won’t disappoint. Thank you for being part of what made our trip memorable. We will be back on our next vacation!

I absolutely loved this restaurant, I brought my best guy friend for his birthday. I reserved a river seat and the view was amazing. The staff was friendly. Our server was Debra and she was very attentive. The food was outstanding and the salad bar was huge. I really enjoyed how the steak peddler comes to your table and lets you choose the kind of steak you want from his butchers table and then cuts it for you right in front of you!

The best steakhouse in Gatlinburg and surrounding area. If you love steak or need a romantic dinner then this is the place. From tender perfectly cooked steaks to a world class salad bar it is a must. If celebrating a special occasion make sure to let them know. Oftentimes candle lit dinner options are available too. If coming in a party of 4 or less highly recommend trying to request a window seat overlooking the river.

There aren't enough words to express me and my wife's experience here. Everyone was amazing! We came here on our anniversary trip and they truthfully didn't disappoint. If you're in town please stop by for the experience.

Loved everything about this place. We went for our 10 year anniversary while on vacation. The view was spectacular!! The food was excellent and the staff were some of the nicest people you will meet!! If you want a river view, I suggest getting a reservation!

We absolutely love The Peddler. We made reservations for 7:30 for a party or 4 with a river view and were seated immediately at a river view table. The service was incredible. You cannot beat the quality steaks that The Peddler offers and the salad bar is top notch. Our party had prime rib, ribeye and filets and all were cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the strawberry cheesecake and it was so good. This will forever be one of our favorite restaurants in Gatlinburg.

Went for the first time with a group of 5. We made reservations, and I definitely recommend making reservations because they were extremely busy! I was so impressed with how quickly they seated our group and how great the service was despite being so packed! Our waitress Kristen was amazing, and she never let our cups get halfway before topping off! The food was incredible, and I loved how the steak peddlers came to our table and cut our meat for us. The salad bar was incredible with smoked oysters! It was a fun and tasty experience

I ordered the 16 oz. Ribeye with a side of steak fries. Every entree comes with the salad bar, and it has tons of options for salad toppings and ingredients. There are also several different dressings. The steak was juicy and somewhat spongy in its consistency. The flavor was delicious, even without A1 sauce. The fries, well, you can't really go wrong with fries. One thing to note is that this place was super busy, even 15 minutes after opening. If you want the full dining experience, it's probably best if you reserve a table online. I sat at the bar in the lounge area, which was first come first serve. Even at the bar, we were still served food and given excellent dining service. The bartender Eric was attentive and friendly. The meal and experience overall was fantastic, and I highly recommend other tourists and visitors to check this place out!

Had the absolute best dinner with the wife in a LONG time here!!! Came on a Wednesday and it was surprisingly packed, but we had reservations so we walked right in 🤗 we were able to sit next to the window where we could see the creek, and what do you know?? A bear just strolls on by like he owned the place 🐻 we started off with oysters, which went down smooth 😋 my wife got the prime rib and shrimp 🍤 combo and I got the ribeye 🥩 and grilled trout combo everything was awesomely delicious

Amazing salad bar! New York strip was phenomenal. And service was exceptional. A must try place if in Gatlinburg.

Amazing dinner with fabulous service! Matt was a great server and ensured everyone at the table had a perfect meal. We opted to go to the lounge and had no problems getting a table with a fantastic riverside view. The chocolate cake for dessert was simply wonderful!

Our waitress Dandie was incredible. She was so sweet, very attentive, and incredibly kind. The food was fantastic, the views were very nice! The steak was delicious , and I absolutely loved the rainbow trout. I was so stuffed from the salad bar and the entree that I took a key lime pie slice to go, and it was great as well. Would definitely recommend this place. We will be back. Make sure to get here early because parking is rough, but it's worth the struggle.

Shoney's? Ponderosa? I am all for providing accurate reviews of places but there is no reasonable explanation that compares The Peddler to those establishments. The Peddler is so far above them the comparison is just ludicrous. That being said The Peddler is quite possibly the best steakhouse in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. It is very true you definitely need reservations. Attempting to go without a reserved table will lead to a long wait, if you can get in at all. That is how popular and good this restaurant is. We made reservations for 4:30pm, and requested a river view. Be forewarned, also, that you need to arrive well before your reservation if you hope to find parking. We arrived a little past 4pm and their lot was almost completely full. Keep in mind the 4:30pm reservation is the earliest they have since that is when they open their doors to table service. Despite the numerous other people waiting for their time we were seated right at 4:30pm and the table had a stunning view of the Little Pigeon River. It being our anniversary we also had a lit candle on our table. All dinners include the expansive all-you-can eat salad bar. It is true that if you are one of the first reservations of the evening the line at the salad bar is quite long. I was lucky to get into line right away and did not wait. However, as our meal progressed the line died down to where only a couple of people were at the salad bar at a time. You may want to keep that in mind when planning what time you are reserving a table for. The salad bar was stocked with so many items, all of which were fresh. I could have eaten just that and been more than satisfied. I did go back for a second salad and even after the many people had been through it was still clean and well-stocked. A carver came by our table to personally cut our steak for us, and we could choose any size we wanted. I had a 13 oz ribeye while my wife had the prime rib. Both were cooked to perfection and had a very tender and flavorful taste. I can not stress how good my steak was. The service was also very good, and we could not be happier with the attentiveness of our server. All in all it was the best meal we had during our entire trip and is one of only a few restaurants that are on the "definitely will be back" list.

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at The Peddler Steakhouse, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience! For starters, they have a big beautiful salad bar, which we really enjoyed! We both ordered filet mignon steaks, and they were perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth tender! We had chocolate cake for dessert and it was amazing! Staff was excellent as well!

We have a Peddler Steakhouse 🥩 back home but it's nowhere as great as this one here! The service is excellent.. Food is delicious I can't remember the last time I had a perfect steak!! Salad bar was fresh and fully stocked. We're celebrating our anniversary and they showed great hospitality 😊 Last but not least we had Tanya as a server she is amazing!! Exceptional customer service skills in every way. Best night ever!

This is a super nice steakhouse. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere for a steakhouse. The salad bar is one of the best I've ever had.

Wife took me here as part of my veterans vacation. The service was top of the line. Never had to wait on anything. Waitress kept a check on us. The best steak I have ever eaten so juicey and tender it melted in my mouth. Can't wait to return. Thank you for an incredible dinning experience.

MAKE A RESERVATION. We luckily saw other reviews saying that reservations are a MUST and I’m so glad we listened to them. We had reservations for 5pm on a Wednesday, made them probably a week in advance since we knew this was somewhere we wanted to eat. We arrived at 4:30, were texted that our table was ready at 5, and were promptly taken to our table.

We were immediately greeted by our server, she took our drink orders and urged us to join the salad bar line. I’m glad we took her advice, because the line gets long quick! The salad was delicious and fresh, even offering some items I wouldn’t think to put on salad like smoked oysters, anchovies, and potato salad. Once we had our salads, we were greeted by the steak peddler and got to view his wares. I ordered the prime rib and my fiancé ordered the filet mignon. Our entrees came out in a reasonable time to let us snack on salad and chat. Our entrees were delicious - my prime rib was perfectly done (medium rare) and the filet mignon was done how my fiancé wanted it as well. Though, he did say he had wished it were a little more seasoned. We finished off our night by asking for tiramisu to go.

Overall, it was a great time. Great food, great service. I think my only complaint would have to be that everything is in very low light outside of your table so I was worried I would accidentally run into someone’s child - but this is just a personal preference and doesn’t negate my review at all.
