Scenic Helicopter Tours - Smoky Mountain

We stopped just to check it out and after talking with the staff decided on a lake view tour. We waited less than 15 min and our guide Jameson laid out the rules. When it got to be our turn, a short side by side ride to the helicopter was easy. We took some photos and loaded into the helicopter. Our pilot was Tyler and he was excellent. Knew a lot about the area and answered all our questions about the flight and flying. The flight was awesome. Do yourself a favor and go fly with them. You will not regret it.

great flight did the mountain view one with Matt as our pilot he was great,very friendly. our attendant was good too I beleive his name was Brandon. loved it will do it again. btw this was our 2nd time took a shorter one back in December.

This was my first time ever being in a helicopter, I HAD A BLAST. The pilot was very friendly and extremely professional his name is Cole. The attendant we had was also very nice (Andrew)! We chose the Ridge Runner (approx 20 mins) which still felt lengthy (30 miles round trip). Definitely will be coming back sometime for a longer ride around the national park ! ! !

We had a great experience here at the Scenic Helicopter Tours in the Smoky Mountains. Wait times were not bad at all. Customer service was great, they broke down pricing and all the tours nicely. Tommy, the pilot did a great job flying us around. Hannah, informed us of all the rules and instructions for loading and unloading the chopper.

Had an amazing experience. Wife and daughter have never flew before, everyone assured them they would be fine. Jesse was our pilot. He was amazing, lots of information about the area. We are planning on a longer trip next time.

My husband and I chose the river view tour. Even tho it was very short it was absolutely great! Enjoyed every minute and next time will definitely do a longer one. Our pilot was Jesse and he was very informative and the photographer and front desk lady were very friendly as well! Highly recommend

We did the ridge runner tour (2 of us for a total price of $252 and some change.)
Our pilot was Jacob, and he was phenomenal. He explained everything we were seeing, and engaged in general conversation as well. Once we landed, we knew we were going to be coming back and doing the wears valley/Gatlinburg tour (it’s a little longer.) The photo outside of the helicopter was taken by Andrew, and he was exceedingly helpful. Everyone here was so so nice. Cannot recommend them enough.

Great experience! Forgot our pilots name but he was very knowledgeable about the tour and seem to be an all around great guy. Had a wonderful time! Recommend everyone try this while in Gatlinburg.

We booked an appointment the night before for 10:30am and the check in process was easy! There was a bit of a wait because they were busy (it was a Saturday) but the wait wasn’t unreasonable. All of the staff were friendly and they explained the rules and helped us to get into the helicopter. It was my first time on a helicopter and I appreciated that the staff emphasized safety. Once we were on board, our helicopter pilot was amazing! We did the Douglas Lake tour and it was the perfect length for us, about 10 minutes in the air. Our pilot provided fun facts about the lake, river, and dam which was awesome. Make sure you bring cash for tip or have Venmo/Cashapp to tip your pilot! They deserve great tips for what they do. We had a wonderful experience and got to see some amazing views. I definitely want to go back on a helicopter again at some point!

First time in a chopper took my Wife for her Birthday. This place is Amazing and affordable. The pilot was very good at answering all our questions and giving us an amazing tour. Awesome place

Me and my love ones took the helicopter ride it was a wonderful experience better than we expected. Will definitely do again we were on vacation from Chicago it was fantastic Scott was a great pilot and knowledgeable we felt safe and had fun.

EPIC ADVENTURE!!! Cody was our pilot and Eric was our boarding attendant. Talk about amazing...they were amazing! My husband and I were in awwww the whole trip. We did the RidgeRunner Tour and we were not disappointed. Every staff member was so grateful we were there. They were excited to hear how we loved it. We got all the photos they took! Very reasonable.

Dakota was an amazing pilot. We flew the Extended Lake tour and wish if we could have had Dakota for our pilot and know how much we would love the flight we would have done the longest trip possible. The whole experience was great. We only waited about 20 minutes for our flight. While we waited we played bags and listened to the live music. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We can not wait to go back!

Great last minute experience! We were in town for spring break and were looking for something to do and found these tours. We did the $39 tour over the French Broad. It was our kid's first helicopter ride and they thought it was a lot of fun! The staff was super friendly and helpful too!

Absolutely incredible! If you want to have the ultimate Smoky Mountains experience, going up in the air is an absolute must! We had such a great time soaring above the mountains and taking in the breathtaking views. The feeling of being up there, surrounded by nature's beauty, is truly indescribable. Not only do they offer amazing aerial tours, but they also have so much to do onsite...beer gardens, daily food truck, games, gem mining & live music on the weekends! We enjoyed it so much that we actually decided to come back the next day for another flight at sunset and to hang out.

Nothing but good to say. Pilot was great as expected. Everyone in the store we dealt with was great and knew what they were doing. They have a big wall that shows all the different flights you can choose from. It makes understanding where all the flights go very and easy. They have many things to do while you wait as well. They have a food truck, cornhole, and many other small games that young kids love. Plenty of outdoor seating with shade as well. Overall and excellent experience and it was our first ever helicopter tour.

We took the Wears Valley flight with Matt and it was amazing. From the moment we walked in, Amanda made us feel at home. Everyone was friendly. We are already planning our next trip.

When we arrived, the employees were extremely polite and explained everything nicely! When we were boarding the Boarding attendant(Taylor)was extremely helpful and was very polite and made conversation with us, our pilot(Phil) was so friendly, he wasn’t snobby or rude, he was extremely polite and explained everything and talked and joked with us! Overall that was one of the best interactions with employees I have experienced!!!
