Super cool and must do museum in the area!! It takes longer than you think, so plan for 2-4 hours depending on how much you read. But it’s definitely interesting from the beginning to the end. There’s plenty of rooms and crime genres for everyone. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids as it is a lot of reading and obviously all about crime. But all the artifacts and history behind the artifacts is amazing. They even have updated notes throughout the museum on any recent updates on the ‘unsolved’ crimes.
10/10

Went last night for a date night with my baby. It was $65.00 for the both of us. Emily G. answered our questions and we picked out a package. This place is fantastic if your a crime buff like us. It looks at crime starting in medieval times to present day and misses nothing. It covers witch trials, scarlet letter, serial killers, sex offenders, bombers, mobsters, organized crime, bootleggers, cults, nut jobs, white collar crime, schemes, postal crimes, prison crimes, judicial system, post mortem science, and criminal law. It covers everything in detail. The have stuff on Al Capone, D.B. Copper, Bonnie & Clyde, John Gotti, Jim Jones, the Zodiac Killler, Ted Bundy, Heavens Gate, Branch Dividians, Boston Marathon bombing, Oklahoma City bombing, O.J. Simpson, Johnny Cash, St. Valentine's day massacre, Dillinger, John Wayne Gacey, and the list goes on and on. They have John Wayne Gacey's clown outfit, Jeffrey Dahmer's glasses, Ted Bundy's Volkswagen, and all manner of creepy stuff. I literally can't name everything. My photos will give you just a taste of the experience. If you like true crime shows then this is the place. It's the history of crime under one roof. I can't recommend this place enough. Easy to find and very reasonable admission for what you get to experience. We love our prison pictures they take at the beginning. A really cool souvenir to remember your experience. One of the best attractions on the strip in Pigeon Forge.

Great museum with so much to look at. Great customer service, and dedicated employees. Each corner you turned was another jaw dropping artifact for any true crime lover. Was very surprised to see some items there. They also have a fun interactive game upstairs.

This place really delivered and exceeded my expectations. From the outside, the building is large, but once you get inside you'll truly realize how large it is. They start you with medieval crime, go to colonial, Old West, mobster/gang violence, serial killers, governmental crimes, school shootings, 9/11, to forensics and everything between. There is something at this museum for everyone, no matter the passion, no matter the interest. We spent two hours here and could have easily invested more if we wanted.

All of the facilities are state of the art, and they had so many interesting artifacts. I couldn't take pictures of them all, but they have items that belonged to Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy, old collector guns, a recreation of a guillotine, and more. Everything was so clean and cared for, you could really tell where your entrance ticket funds were going.

We bought our tickets ahead of time, but really found it unnecessary. You have to wait in the same line to enter as to buy tickets, so it was all the same. Other than that, the only quip I could make is the gift shop. I had such a great time that I was disappointed by how small the shop was. I wanted to buy something, but most of the items were for kids or apparel. They should have someone help them design items, like postcards, stickers, recreations, or more. There is some untaped potential there!

Extremely interesting and lots of cool original items, letters, etc. Spent 2.5 hours, don't waste money on the headphones , etc. Cool place.

This place was amazing. This was a place full of artifacts from criminals across the country. It had O. J.'s car, when he was starting to run from the police. A replica of Bonnie and Clyde's car, that was used in the movie, from 1967, shot up by the G-men. They had a nice display of 9/11, where they had some of the steel girders, and a list of all the people that died on that horrible day. They had stories of John Dillinger, Bugs Moran, AL Capone, Jesse James, and Pretty Boy Floyd. A very interesting place. All of the items are worth seeing.

This is the perfect spot for an interactive date night!!! There’s something for everyone and I highly recommend it! You’re bound to learn at least one fact by the end!!!

Random fun fact: I never knew Monica Lewinsky sold purses for a living after everything with Bill! 🤷🏽‍♀ who knew?! (The museum has one of her purses on display!)

Okay, AMAZING!!! They even have Ted Bundys VW Bug and OJ's bronco! The experience is very interactive and there was a significant amount of thought put into the design and layout.

If you like Death, Murder and Serial Killers this is the place to visit! I enjoyed every part of this place and seeing things from documentaries in person made some parts seem very real. There are lots of facts and things you may have never heard before. Great way to spend a few hours in Tennessee.

Great experience. I paid for the vip tickets that include the audio tour, a detective challenge, and a fun laser room. If I'm honest I didn't use the audio tour very much and the detective challenge wasn't very challenging but still fun. I had a good time and it was very informative. Seeing the Ted Bundy Volkswagen was pretty chilling, but all in all a good experience. Would definitely recommend to any true crime fans!

Ordered tickets ahead of time. It was really cool and there was so much fun and interesting information! I was a little busy but nothing terrible. The gift shop is also nice. If you haven't been here and you like this kind of stuff just go buy the tickets it's worth it!!

It was a nice treat. I broke the rules and took a couple pictures, for that I'm sorry. There were a few really good displays with a lot of information. Tons for restrooms throughout for kids and changing areas. It was worth it for me and my family.

I was very excited to visit this place after reading all of the 5 star reviews. It didn’t disappoint. I would say price is a little higher than I expected.
A lot of interesting exhibits are located here. I appreciated the memorial to September 11th. It brought tears to my eyes watching the video of it.
If you are visiting with kids about mid ways you will have a chance of trying shooting targets (game) and it’s better if you have cash because we had trouble using a card.

This was a very interesting place. Would have been better if it wasn't so crowded. The lady at the checking desk was very rude, nothing nice to say to us. I really enjoyed looking at the crime stuff, especially Bonnie and Clyde!!

Great if you're interested in crime and crime stories. There is so much to look at. Take your time here or you'll miss things. The museum takes you through the history of criminal punishment first. From medieval torture to the modern electric chair. Then it goes into the history of crime from Salem witches and the Old West to current. It also covers police forces and forensics. Very informative. Great place to visit.

The Alcatraz Museum was really cool. We learned a lot from it. Truthfully we were expecting it to be way different, but it was still a great experience. Lots of information and engagement throughout it.

Lots of information and fun for the history/crime junkie like me. The exhibits are outstanding. The laser is fun and cracking the safe is harder than it looks. I liked the car exhibit as well as the motorcycle. We loved it and if I get the chance I'll go back.

Awesome place for people of all ages. Took the whole family last week and everyone enjoyed it. If you like history you will enjoy this place. It has a lot of info about different things from gangsters way back to current things going on. There's a lot to see and read about so plan a few hours to spend so you can see everything. There's also some pretty cool things to do. I spent a few extra bucks on the book to find the answers to some questions and then we all did the laser room which was pretty cool! 10/10 would recommend especially if you're into true crime but I believe it would be interesting to most anyone.
