The Island in Pigeon Forge

In a general sense, I do love it here - I love the fountain and the music and the lights, and there's a lot to do. The Winterfest light trail starts from here and there is tons of free parking. But in winter, everything closes really early, by 7 or 8 it seemed. Maybe even earlier for some of the outdoor attractions. Operating hours on google can't be trusted.

If you like walking to and through all the little shops in The Island this is the place to be. There are shops of all varieties. Gifts, Home Decor, Clothing, Toys, Candy and more. Fun for the whole family. Thank You for taking Your Time to Read My Review.😊 Have a Great Day!🌞

Absolutely amazing as it was my first visit to the island. Even got to watch the Fountain show! I visited the candy store and bought cotton candy( my favorite) and jelly belly beans. My friend bought the footlong, mix and match pixie dust. We didn't go on the rides, but we walked around the whole island. I will definitely be going back to participate in more attractions on the island!

This place has lots to do and plenty of shopping options. The evening is beautiful with lights everywhere and the water show is super cool. The activities are a bit expensive but worth it if you are visiting. It was a little crowded but plenty of space to not run into people. It was cold but lots of shops to buy hit drinks and yummy goodies. Ten out of ten totally recommend.

2024-Feb. There was lots of parking. There is a tram that goes back and forth from the parking lot to the amusement park.

This is like the boardwalk in Universal Studios.. without the actual big amusement park. The Island in Pigeon Forge has few rides -‬ like the kind you see at the carnival. There are lots of shops and restaurants. There were lots of chairs & benches around.

There is a $40 wrist band for unlimited rides good for two days, and it includes the Ferris Wheel. It does NOT include the rope course. The rides cost about $6 per ride if bought per ride.

We went on a Monday holiday. There were no lines in any rides.

There were several restrooms around.

We were here for 4 hours. Would have probably enjoyed it more if we stayed for at least 6 to 8 hours.

This was a great place to come. There is a little something for everyone. Tons of shopping, food, entertainment, and rides. We didn't get to spend as much time as we wanted since one of our family members wasn't feeling well but we did ride the nice Ferris wheel. I would recommend if you plan to spend a decent amount of time and like rides to the unlimited pass. It is a better deal money-wise and pretty much includes everything and runs for 48hrs I believe they say. So it is worth it at that cost versus paying for a time ride. Especially if you're going to be in the area for a few days. It is a beautiful little up at night. We did see it when we went to our show later that night and it was a site to see. The water fountain show is also very neat to see. Definitely recommend taking a stop to this place, plus it's free parking and there is a tram to carry you over to the island.

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!! Free entry and free parking!! Cute shops and cute rides!! And get this...if you buy a wristband, it's good for 48 hours!!!! That means you can go for multiple days, using the same wristband without having to pay the next day!!! Go on their website to get a few discounts and have a great time!!

The island is composed of several shops and restaurants, lots of Kids Activities.
you can eat at Paula Dean's family kitchen. Which we did, family style serving. We tried the barbecued pulled pork and the pot roast, which was absolutely delicious. We sat by the water fountains for several minutes and then stayed till dark. And the water fountain was beautiful with the colors and dancing to the music.

Fun visit. Beautiful day. Not overly busy. Enjoyed the shops and sights. They are down quite a few drivers for the tram (the employee said they were down 30!) But they were doing their best. Lots of stuff to do that could fill a good portion of your day. We spent some time in the arcade, watched the fountain show, window shopped, etc. I would say no 'wait' once we got inside, but we did have to wait about 15 minutes for the tram because there was also a convention going on this weekend.

Very busy! Sometimes hard to find parking. Active nightlife. Feels safe. Bathrooms, shops, and small fair. Has an arcade but the claw machines are rigged so save your money! Highly recommend margarita ville but heard the other restaurants are good as well

This location has many rides, activities, shops, and things to eat. The parking lot has a free trolly to bring you from the lot to the shops. Even if you don't plan to spend money it's a nice walk.

This is a great place to visit. Many stores and rides. The fountain is awesome at night and there is a trolly that is free, since the parking lot is a bit of a hike.

Good place to visit. After parking, you can either walk (which isn't far, depending on WHERE you park) or take the tram which picks up at the designated spots at each parking section. Plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions...a little something for everyone. We got candy, cookies, beef jerky, moonshine and a few souvenirs. Paid $15 to ride the Wheel then headed to Dude's Daiquiris for a drink!

This is a terrific place for family fun! So much to do a d see. We loved the SkyHigh ride! A must do! It was spectacular at the holiday season with the Winterfest lights along the river walk, it makes Christmas come alive!

Amazing place to hangout at evening. Christmas time is the best.. They had so much lightings and decorations, water fountain show, plenty of sitting area, eateries and restrooms.

I loved the tram service from parking lot, it’s very frequent and saves lot of energy.

Highly recommend a visit to the island in Pigeon Forge! It's a fantastic destination with a plethora of activities for kids, and it even offers a taste of the charm found in Gatlinburg. A perfect blend of family-friendly fun and a touch of the unique atmosphere that makes this area special.

This place is too good if you have kids who love adventures. Both my kids aged 3 and 7 love being here. You get tickets that last for 48 hrs, so you can come back again the next day.
You have enough shops for food and shopping as well here.
The fountain show is amazing too.

What a great place to spend the evening with the entire family. Lots of shops and places to entertain everyone. The visitors booth has coupons for the rides also.
The fountain light show was pretty cool to watch as well.
Lots of parking and if you park far away there is a trolley to get you there without walking.

We have been here several times and my husband and I love it. We have specific shops that we love to go shop in and I never leave without getting a snowball in a cup lol.. so many flavors to choose from. :) And the views from the Sky Wheel are amazing!
