Recently my wife, son, and I had the pleasure of visiting the Sunliner Diner in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for brunch. The diner's unique old-fashioned setup was impeccably executed, creating a nostalgic and charming atmosphere. We were impressed by the exceptional food quality and top-notch service provided by the friendly and enthusiastic staff. It was heartwarming to see the employees fully embracing the diner's theme, adding to the overall experience.

During our visit, my son selected a few songs on the jukebox, and we were delighted to see the staff joyfully dancing along as they worked. The warm and welcoming environment made us feel like part of the Sunliner family. To my surprise, my family arranged for a birthday celebration, and the employees joined in singing to me, making the occasion even more special.

While there was a minor inconvenience with parking with another customer, that could not have been foreseen by the diner, the manager's handling of the situation was commendable. Despite a potential confrontation, the manager resolved the issue gracefully, preventing any escalation. I appreciate the manager's professionalism and quick action in diffusing what could have been a challenging situation.

Overall, our experience at the Sunliner Diner was memorable, thanks to the delightful ambiance, fantastic food, and exceptional service. I extend my gratitude to the entire staff for making our visit truly enjoyable."

Amazing dinner. Our server, Glenn, was so good with our kids making sure the food was how they wanted it. Really good chicken fried steak. Breakfast is served all day. The white Russian adult milkshake was delicious. Neat menu printed in the style of a newspaper. Definitely recommend coming here if you're in Pigeon Forge and looking for a unique dining experience that isn't a show.

We loved stopping into the Sunliner. It was a random pick of all the places in Pigeon Forge. We were glad we picked here though. Food was classic diner style food. Came out fairly quickly. Atmosphere made you feel like you went back in time to the 50's. Our server Karri was awesome! Not only was did she give great service, but she offered her suggestions from the menu and even looked the part of a 50's diner waitress. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in town or looking for a place to eat while visiting Pigeon Forge.

Step back in time at Sunliner Diner, a groovy 1950s-themed diner. Dive into the retro atmosphere with vintage decor and classic car booths. The diner's friendly staff and delicious food, including real cherry cokes made with grenadine, will surely put a smile on your face. Be prepared for slightly higher prices, but it's an experience worth splurging on.

We had such a great time. Brooke was our server and she was amazing. You have to try the milkshakes, they’re awesome. This diner brought back such great memories for my mom! Love it!

Amazing 1950’s atmosphere. Two classic cars inside provide dining tables. Food is great and service is good. I’m not a biscuit eater normally but they make the biggest fluffiest biscuits ever. Check out the old fashioned toys and candy. Definitely worth having a meal here.

Restaurant was extremely busy, but it didn't take too long to get a table. The food was exceptional! The French toast was very good & that specialty burger was huge! But very good as well. I had an old fashion Vanilla Cream Soda..two thumbs up! The old car booths were so cute. I've never seen anything like that before. It was my birthday so they came to my table & sang..Lol. Overall, it was a great experience

Atmosphere is A+. Open and clean. Fun gift shop. There are two cars that are carved out so that you can sit and eat in them. Great coffee. Extensive menu- too much to list. Breakfast was delicious. HUGE and delicious biscuits!!!! Eggs cooked perfectly. Crispy hash browns. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

Drove by here several times while we were in town and had to stop and check it out. Themed restaurant that gets it right. Food was great and the desserts are to die for. Try to get in one or the "car" booths if you can, you won't be disappointed. The burgers were good just right and the onion rings were some of the best I'd ever had. The banana split was unbelievable. Check it out.

What a lovely place. Gets pretty busy, we had to wait about 30 minutes, but it was well worth it. 50s styled gift shop occupied us well while waiting. Service was quick and Robert was very attentive and fun. Highly recommend if you're looking for good food in 50s atmosphere, this place will send you back in time!

Old-time vibe; menu offerings were pretty standard diner fair with a few specialty items specific to the South or the 50s era. Milkshakes were good, as was the rest of our food. Portions were large. Service was okay, waiter wasn’t super friendly or engaging. We would go back.

We went back before we left. Robbie was out server, what a pleasant gentleman! Food was great!!

Loved this place! The atmosphere was so amazing and the people were so nice and friendly. Our waitress was so nice and the greeters were very welcoming. We only had breakfast but I would had love to try their lunch. The food was so tasteful. For a party of 5, the price was pretty good.

Super cute, workers are dressed up too . Place looks amazing . Good shakes. The $20 burger is very worth it. Didn’t even get to finish it. They even give you a quarter to pick your own vintage song on the machine. Only negative is the girl with no uniform who sits people down. Kind of looked rude, didn’t say a word or look happy to work there…

Love this place and everything about it! This is our second time going and we’ve never had a bad experience. They were super busy but got us in and our food quickly. I love how big and spacious it was, so even though it was busy it didn’t feel like we were right up on other people like with other restaurants. The servers were very nice and greeted us with smiles. I loved being able to go look at the unique gift shop with my son while we waited. I had the dreamboat waffle and it was worth the price. It comes with three waffles so if you wanted you could share with someone else and get side orders

Robbie the server was exceptional! He went above and beyond our expectations. We were very impressed with him. The service, the food, and atmosphere is amazing. It felt like we were taken right back to the 1950s. We were obsessed with the newspaper menus. Such a nice touch! You won’t regret dining here. We will absolutely be back!! One of our favorite experiences in Pigeon Forge.

Our family ate dinner on February 1, 2024 and we absolutely loved it! We were seated in the pink car and our server was amazing. She had several tables and she was working as hard as she could. Our drinks never ran dry and she was always prompt with any of our requests. The food was great! Between the five of us we had burgers and fries, chicken Alfredo, and chicken tenders and fries. I can’t wait to come back and try the Jukebox Burger!

If you love a joint for the experience, then this is a place you want to check out. An absolutely awesome 50s feel, down to the vintage juke box, poodle skirts, soda shop uniforms, and the wandering greaser.

Prices are a little more than you'd spend at any fast food chain, but it's well worth the difference. The burgers, fish and chips, shakes, etc. were all fabulous.

Very cool throwback with everything in the 50’s theme. To the menu to the old fashioned drinks. We got burgers and chicken tenders and a cream soda. They even have house made ranch which tops everything off. Customer service was quick and reliable. Also had a little gift shop and my partner got simply southern bracelets and a little card wallet. All around great place.
